What the Future Holds is the upcoming sixth studio album by British pop group Steps. It is due for release on 27 November 2020.
Background
On 7 September 2020, Steps announced the release date of their sixth studio album, called What the Future Holds, via their social media accounts.[1][2] It was revealed by a series of cryptic posts, with references to the past and the future, as well as imagery of a crystal ball.[1][2] It was followed with a posted on their official Twitter account saying "We couldn't keep it a secret any longer!!",[1] with band member Claire Richards adding "Its been a long time coming but we are so proud to present the next chapter to the Steps story."[2] The title track was announced as the lead single on the same day while a supporting arena tour of the United Kingdom was announced on 8 September to take place in November 2021.[3]
