What Did You Expect from the Vaccines? is the debut studio album by London-born group The Vaccines. The album was released on 14 March 2011,[14] by Columbia Records. Two singles preceded the release of the album which attained UK chart success including UK debut "Wreckin' Bar (Ra Ra Ra)" and "Post Break-Up Sex". The album's release was highly anticipated following the band's placement on the BBC Sound of 2011 poll, in which the group placed third.[15]
The release was pushed forward a week from the 21st March to the 14th March, in a move that saw the album chart Top 5 in the UK.
