Vivian Obianujuwan Ikechukwu (born 10 July 1997) is a Nigerian professional football forward, who plays in the Turkish Women's Football Super League for Beşiktaş J.K.,[1][2] and in the Nigeria national team.[3]
Club career
Ikechukwu is 1.68 m (5 ft 6 in) tall, and plays in the forward position.[4] In her country,[5] she was part of [the Port Harcourt club Rivers Angels F.C.. She played at the 2021 CAF Women's Champions League, and scored one goal.[6]
In March 2022, she went to Lithuanian, and joined the A Lyga club Gintra-Universitetas FC.[5][4] She played at the 2022–23 UEFA Women's Champions League.[7]
In February 2023, Ikechukwu moved to Turkey, and signed with the Istanbul-based club Beşiktaş J.K. to play in the Turkish Women's Football Super League.[2] In the 22022-23 Super League's second half, she pcapped in four matches.[2] In May 2023, she suffered calf muscle strain. She suffered a leg injury in December 2023 in the 22023-24 Super League .[1]
International career
Ikechukwu was a member of the Nigeria women's national football team, nicknemed "Super Falcons".[5]
