== Music Video == |

The music video to "Vilaiyaadu Mankatha" is set in Bangkok in a club called ‘Club Hollywood’, and was shot for four consecutive days, featuring Ajith Kumar and other dancers. Yuvan was also present during the music video shoot, although he did not come on screen and dancers from Mumbai and Bangkok danced for the peppy number, while the music video is choreographed by Kalyan Kumar. The disco club’s real speaker was utilized that made dancers shake their legs even ‘off screen’. A lot of the crowd in the music video are people who actually visited the club during the shoot, giving it a more ‘reality’ feel. |

Director Venkat Prabhu was determined to launch the soundtrack in an innovative way, so he revealed that, he would just release one song in the digital medium, so that it can be used for ring tones and caller tunes. The single track "Vilaiyaadu Mankatha", special edition CD's, which costs INR 49, will come with a poster signed by Ajith Kumar himself. It’s not an usual signature where a lead actor signs one poster and the rest are digitalized, Ajith Kumar wanted to please his fans and is using all his breaks in three days and will be signing all the 5000 posters by himself. The poster has Ajith Kumar in a look never seen before and is a landscape one. Yuvan Shankar Raja had handed over the Master recording on May 11, 2011, while the single track of Mankatha, along with four bonus tracks is expected to release on 20 May, 2011. The single track special edition CD also consists of four bonus tracks composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, which were part of his previous projects. The bonus tracks included are "Dia Dia Dole" from Avan Ivan, "Goa" from Goa, "Yogi Yogi Thaan" from Yogi and "Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai" from Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai. |
