OSKM Debates
Hello! There are many sources about OSKM details but they are all in Russian. Would you like to read Russian? http://www.radiolamps.ru/library/mrb_0469.djvu This was the book printed in 1962, it provided the description of basics not only OSKM, but quadrature modulation basics too, it contains the schematics and design of the so-called "amateur color TV set". There was no mass production of "Colortron" or comparable TV tubes in the USSR then, so it used 3 tubes with red, green and blue phosphor and optical projection to superimpose three images. http://www.rw6ase.narod.ru/00/twc/raduga_tw62.html This is the page containing photos of the first soviet TV set using native-produced color TV tube, it was called "Raduga" (rainbow), NTCS is mentioned in this page (there was no SECAM equipment in that time). http://www.rw6ase.narod.ru/00/twc/izumrud201.html This is another page about "Izumrud-201" ("emerald") using projection optics like proposed "amateur color TV".Suvorow (talk) 06:04, 16 June 2022 (UTC) Is there any reasonable way to add Russian language sources to the English page, mentioning that the most detailed document is in the djvu format and can't be processed by google translate?Suvorow (talk) 21:06, 1 September 2022 (UTC)
