I have blocked you for 72 hours because I find your behavior to be disruptive. I know there is a disagreement over the template on the article talk pages, but given that you are in a David vs. Goliath scenario, it would be best if you discuss, instead of blanket reverting. If you continue reverting, what good is that going to do? Do you honestly think that the other editors will suddenly give up and stop reverting you? The matter, like any dispute, cannot be resolved by continuous revert warring. Discussion is the only way you can move forward over this matter. The duration of your block is 72 hours because you had a 3RR block just four days ago, and yet it seems you continued the edit warring just as soon as you got off the block. I hope you come back from the block eager and willing to get involved in a serious discussion with the editors you are in disagreement with. Nishkid64 (talk) 04:16, 15 September 2007 (UTC) |

Wikiproject Chican@s
Welcome aboard! There is quite a bit of work to be done on this project. Feel free to add to the project pages and the to-do list. I notice you are interested in Chicano rap. That article and its daughter articles are in need of some serious research and citations. If you have any trouble or questions, don't hesitate to ask me! Welcome again, --Rockero 05:36, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Raja, Thanks for the award. By the way, thanks for the works in Tamil related articles. I may have joined you, but here's a lot to do in Ayyavazhi articles. Also regarding Ayyavazhi, limited no of users are there and so I need a lot of time to be spend here. Thanks - Paul Raj 15:17, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

Do we need a Category:Dravidian civilizations when we already have a Category:Dravidian people ≈ jossi ≈ (talk) 04:52, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
- Hi Jossi, there is actually a WikiProject called Dravidian civlizations. That is why I have created the Category:Dravidian civilizations and to put everything in sub-categories under that title. Sub-categories would be Dravidian people, Dravidian architecture, etc. Please let me know what you think. Regards. Wiki Raja 04:55, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I noticed you created this article, but one of the edits [1] expressed the concern that it was copied and pasted from several other articles. While this page is currently on AFD, it's not for that reason, but I do believe there's enough of a concern that I'd like to know if you did do so. This is because the GFDL requires proper attribution to the material it came from, at least if it's from other GFDL material. There are other concerns, but I'm not convinced by them meriting deletion. Mister.Manticore 03:42, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
- Hi, with all due respect I have created this article with over 30 referrenced sources. Furthermore, segments of the article that was taken from parts of other related articles had the link:
This was to link the reader to the Main page of the particular article. An example of that can be found from the following articles which have done the same:
- Would you suggest that I reword some of the sections in the article? Regards.
- Wiki Raja 04:09, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
- Indeed, I was quite impressed by the sources used, and consider it quite a good job. I'm not sure if taking segments from an article which you link directly to is enough, you may wish to put something on the talk page? Perhaps there's something in an existing template. I don't know. I'm not sure about those other pages, they've got such a long edit history, that I can't pick out where the contents you're talking about were added, but I *hope* that if it was done, it was done with an edit summary that identified where it came from. RE : You're invited
Thanks for inviting me, Wiki Raja, but I personally think I shouldn't be joining any new WikiProjects at the moment since I have other tasks to fulfil. However, I would be interested to join the Dravidian civilizations WikiProject possibly in October, November, December 2007 or at latest, by February 2008. Anyway, I would be interested to know what tasks I will be able to contribute to that will help to popularise (or increase the quality of) that WikiProject and indirectly, help Wikipedia grow.
Unfortunately, I don't even know what Dravidian civilizations are. Acs4b T C U 03:40, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

Dear WikiRaja,
Your revert is dubbed vandalism by User:Dineshkannambadi. I reverted it. I agree with User:Kumarrao's questions on the talk page. I believe Wikipedia does not consider individuals' wepages as RS. Nor for that matter, newspaper reports and websites run by local associations and organizations which do not have official sanction. We should respect views published in books with proper research. Some viewpoints may be supported by a single citation with authentic evidence. We should respect such views too.Tejam 18:04, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Regarding Malayalam font
Raja, I am not familiar with Malayalam script. I just cut and pasted from the Malayalam wikipedia. Anyway, I haven't noticed the problem you mentioned before. Lastly, the Pallava template is also available for others to use in the main userboxes page! Thanks for bringing this up in regards to a Pallava userbox. Regards. How can I inform you my mail ID?Kumarrao 06:49, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
- You would have to add it to your Wikipedia account, then you can e-mail me by posting it here or going to my user page and clicking on the toolbox of the left hand margin titled "E-mail this user". Once you do that I would receive an e-mail from you. After that, if you want, you can remove it from your Wikipedia account, unless you decide to still keep it in your account. From Daya Anjali=
Hello wiki raja, no such specific interest . i only edit the subject which i know. Mallayudh was there all over the india even described in Both hindu epics. the word itself are sanskrit words. so i redirected to the article with more details. you can go ahead and add there which is spcific to Tamil nadu. also varma kali and varma kalri are one and the same. and word asaan is not a tamil or malayalam word, but derived from sanskrit word acharya means master. i think we can merge this artcle. also please dont include content from tamilnation websites because it may not an authentica one. i have removed the word tamil in some artcle because whatever its used in malayalam is applicable to tamil also, but more common in kerala . for example asaan, this word is used a surname by communities in kerala, who were teachers, kalari trainers, astrologers, poets etc. this was not common in tamil history. I am not here to establish any supremacy of any sect, cast or race. still i do respect rich culture and history of tamil ... Daya Anjali (talk / contribs) 06:50, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
- That would be a big issue as there are many localised version of malla yudha all over inda. one community of GSB known as mallyas were only into this kind of art in konkan region. Then Mallai gardi of Tulunadu and dwanda yudham of kerala etc. its tedious to create and maintain each and every artcile with same concept and background. All these names including Mallayodham in TN are just a localised name of an art which is prevailed all over indian continnent.
Daya Anjali (talk / contribs) 06:01, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
- Well, since both Malyutham and Mallayuddha were created, it would be a better idea to leave those pages be and instead put "See Also Mallayuddha" on the Malyutham page, and a "See Also Mallyutham" on the Mallayuddha page. In that way the peoples efforts to create both pages does not go to waste, but at the same time the reader would be able to read about the other wrestling styles by going to the See Also section. Regards. Wiki Raja 06:06, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
- thanks for the welcomeing for the project. when i have time and knowledge of the subjuct, i will definetly contribute. thanks again

You claim here that your project Wikipedia:WikiProject_Dravidian_civilizations constitutes a bigger part of the geography. But your edits here are biased to Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka (70% of the edits belong to that). Don't tell me that you did not have any news on any other part of the geography. - Wiki Raja, you don't seem to understand the CU policy. Just because someone removed your banners for a wikipedia project doesn't mean that everyone is a sockpuppet. Preforming a CU is the last level in finding socks, because the CU has access to private information which could affect the privacy of some users. Instead of doing a CU on each of the people who removed your banner, ask them each why they did this on their respective talk pages. Now, you are canvassing in order for BG, and DMCdevit to be "desyopsed" or "dearbitrated" or "decheckusered". This is being disruptive and further disruption can cause a block. "Abuse of admin powers"
Declining to do a checkuser because it goes against the privacy policy is not admin abuse. I strongly urge you to drop the matter right away, but if you insist on carrying on, do not call it abuse of power. Ryan Postlethwaite 18:10, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

- Ryan, thats an excellent answer! Thank you.
- Wiki Raja, I had request you to read and understand carefully, the comments given by the checkuser admin, which said "RFCU is for accounts that legitimately look like there is a single operators, not for listing people you disagree with." I'm afraid, you still don't seem to have understood. Please remember, if Checkuser is used for all such cases where differing parties filing RFCU, then literally there would be thousands of cases everyday. Rejecting such cases is certainly an excellent job, and is by no way an "Abuse of admin powers". Please stop this canvassing against admins, and involve in healthy contributions towards improving Wikipedia. Thanks - KNM Talk 18:30, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Tamil Bell
Hello Wiki Raja, thanks for your email, I thought I could answer here just as well. Very little is known about the Tamil Bell - its one of those mystery objects that appear out of nowhere, and which become objects of some rather weird theories as a result. Reverend Colenso himself is not regarded as a very reliable source, and he did not give many details about exactly where and when he found the bell or what he knew of its history. There are many ways it could have got to New Zealand by 1836, as there was a lot of contact by that period between New Zealand and the rest of the world. As for the editor on this Wikipedia that you warned me about, I think that people like him perform a good job in pointing out where people might be using sources of dubious quality. Wikipedia needs people to challenge and scrutinise and keep us on our mettle; if we cannot defend our sources then we should not use them. But thanks for your advice. Cheers Kahuroa 21:32, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
