::Thank you for your support. I am glad there is at least one administrator and/or bureaucrat out there that actually has respect for the project and its procedures. I'll still be waiting for whatever bogus forthcoming block down the road as I'm sure this will not be the last time I will be forced to respond to an admin making a mockery of the project. I've certainly been threatened for far less when questioning an administrator that takes his/her position far more lightly than Pedro has and treats every day on the project like a new episode of [[Days of our Lives]]. Thank you for being bold in this matter. I can only wish all administrators were as responsible and represented the project even half as well as you do. Eh? What are you on? Putting a support in th eoppose column is a ''disrespectful comment'' ? FYI bureaucrats are supposed to read RFA's and weight all comments - irrespective of wether they are so aribitary heading. You can accuse me of POINT, you can accuse me of acting like a total twat- but "disrespectful" when I simply supported the candidate as a level headed fellow and per nom? The Writer's Barnstar | ||
For expanding the Stan Lopata article, which deserved a good expansion, and for the rest of your baseball related expansions I give you the writer's barnstar.Orsoni (talk) 09:54, 6 November 2010 (UTC) |
I too share your goal of expanding articles of lesser known players, especially catchers, who if they didn't hit, toiled in relative anonimity, like Jim Hegan. Can I ask how do you find your most excellent newspaper references?Orsoni (talk) 04:38, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
GA nominations
I have yours and Orsoni talk page watchlisted for a while now, I could place the article though a GA nomination it's not that hard to fix the suggestions. A FAC is hellish but I passed Ben Paschal and Bob Meusel through it so it's a positive sign. Place it in GA I could give it some feedback (as a major baseball expert), and I could get one of the sports copyeditors to give a look though it, like User:Sarastro1 he's the best, with that help you could try FAC, also go though paperofrecord.com, with the Sporting News archives. - Hello. Thank you for your interest in the possible promotion of some of the articles I have expanded to good article status. I was a B- average student in English throughout my schooldays, so I know they still need a bit of work to fix up. I'm having to deal with a chronic pain illness this week that was amplified by a stomach bug that sent me to the ER, but in the next week or so I'd be more than happy to collaborate with more experienced editors in improving Stan Lopata and Hobie Landrith to a high quality level that these two subjects deserve. I've already scoured through the back archives of The Sporting News for rare information included in the two articles and cited them accordingly. I am 70% done with a third article, located at User:Vodello/Don Demeter.
- I won't be able to be of much help this week, but next week I should be able to help with the process of potentially promoting at least one article. Thanks! Vodello (talk) 01:00, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
Leave your threat and/or action in this topic I have made for you, whoever you will be. I'm sick of the bullshit. I'm off to edit a god damn article or two or two hundred until you stop me. Vodello (talk) 03:05, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
