Hi there, thanks a lot for your contribution to this article. I was just wondering what your source for the fact you added is- the rest of the article is sourced, so I would quite like to keep it entirely sourced. Thanks! J Milburn 18:05, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

Please do not add copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Yvon of the Yukon. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Posting the lyrics of a song is considered a copyright violation. This includes opening themes for non-public domain works. Collectonian (talk) 15:11, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:ManHands.png
Thanks for uploading Image:ManHands.png. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Image:Neat Freak.png)
You've uploaded Image:Image:Neat Freak.png, and indicated that it's used under Wikipedia's rules for non-free images. However, it's not presently used in any articles. Wikipedia policy requires that non-free images be either used or deleted, so if this image isn't used in an article in the next week, it will be deleted.

Orphaned non-free media (Image:WalkingTornado.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:WalkingTornado.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:23, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Katana_(Batman_BB).png
Thank you for uploading File:Katana_(Batman_BB).png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 01:50, 22 July 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 01:50, 22 July 2010 (UTC)

These edits that you made to List of Primeval characters constitute original research, which contravenes Wikipedia's "No original research" policy. All content added to Wikipedia must be verifiable and must be attributable to reliable sources. Adding hidden comments, such as "PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE "Time Terrorist"! She became that in the latter half of the original 3 series" is NOT acceptable attribution. Please note that speculative content, such as "and presumably will be the villain of series 5"[3] and "he is presumably dead"[4] is considered to be original research. --AussieLegend (talk) 21:14, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at List of Primeval characters, you may be blocked from editing. This is your last warning; the next time you violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by inserting unpublished information or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at List of Primeval characters, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. As has been advised numerous times now, you can not continue to add speculative content to articles. AussieLegend (talk) 23:13, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:BatmanBBlogo.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:BatmanBBlogo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Acather96 (talk) 14:27, 14 May 2011 (UTC)

Fantasia DVD
Hi Visokor, Thanks for your message. This is very interesting! What country was your Fantasia DVD released in? I did a little Googling before answering your message. Sure enough there was a DVD release of the "Disney Classics" edition which is the same as the 1991 VHS and laser disc release. It has a running time of 117 minutes. But I think maybe it was only released in countries other than the US. The 2000 US DVD release is called "Fantasia - Special 60th Anniversary Edition". The box states "Never before released on DVD" and then goes on to say "complete with the intermission and narration which have not been included in the film since its original release!" Running time is 125 minutes. This was released as a single DVD and also in the 3-disc "Anthology" set. We should include this in the article. But...I would first like to know when and where the older "Disney Classics" version was released. DVDs only came on the market in 1998 or so. All the best, Mark Markhh (talk) 05:13, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
It's cool to know that there is a Fantasia DVD that includes Deems Taylor's real voice! I have been keeping my laser disc player all these years just so I could hear him when I wanted to. Cheers! Markhh (talk) 05:19, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
Thanks, man! I've got the listing on Amazon.co.uk now to reference it. How odd that they released this older version outside of the US at the same time they released the restored version in the US! Disney will never fail to amaze me. Thanks again for the great info. Best, Markhh (talk) 06:51, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
"Descriptions"? Can you give me an example? Yes, the Sunflower edits have gotten more sophisticated over the years - using electronic means to re-size the frame or repeat frames to avoid any actual music being cut! It would be interesting to mention, but I think we need to wait until a reliable reference can be found. Markhh (talk) 22:39, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
- I think that the program descriptions are good as they are - very short and to the point. As far as quoting Deems Taylor's comments verbatim, I think you're right. It really doesn't belong in the article. If there were another website that had his complete dialogue written out, it might be fun to include that as an external link. (By the way, to sign your comments on a talk page, all you have to do is add four of these characters: ~~ at the end of your message.) Cheers Markhh (talk) 23:09, 13 August 2011 (UTC)

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to List of Primeval characters. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Do not add "time terrorist" to the article again unless you include a citation from a reliable source supporting the claim. Addition of personal opinions is not permitted. AussieLegend (talk) 14:26, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by inserting commentary or your personal analysis into an article, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Your recent edit [5] with the comment " believe me, I have a right to put in "Time Terrorist". Her actions throughout the first 3 series I consider to be much like that of a terrorist)" : When you say I consider... that admits that this is YOUR PERSONAL OPINION. And on the article Wikipedia:Neutral point of view you can see "Avoid stating opinions as facts" and "Prefer non-judgmental language." You're clearly violating both of these guidelines at least. And if you persist, you will certainly be blocked from editing again. Barsoomian (talk) 14:29, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, you may be blocked from editing.
