I'm sure you know that's inappropriate. WP:Edit summaries are meant to be "a brief explanation of an edit to a Wikipedia page." Thanks. Doug Weller talk 12:13, 9 April 2018 (UTC) |

:Oh I am most sure I do know, but “inappropriate” is in the eyes of the beholder—and I take pains to make sure my edits are sound, not of a frivolous or arbitrary nature, and will stand the test of time (though time on Wikipedia is not a static thing). |
|||
:I don’t believe I am defacing the encyclopedia’s content in any way—one does have to be a Wikipedia “insider” even to know that there are edit histories, edit summaries, and a customary protocol which is subject to a learning curve in itself—but if you do have a problem with a specific doggerel summary I’ve occasionally made, all of which do indeed allude to and reflect upon the actual edits I make, whenever possible—by all means take it to a broader Wikipedia discipline venue where it can be discussed and seen by many more eyes, and I can be appropriately disciplined or banned from this community altogether if necessary. I’m quite certain there are people who would prefer I be silenced. Story of my life. Thank you for your concern. ::I've no idea who they are. Clearly your edit summaries don't deface the content as they don't touch the content, so I'm not clear why you even mention content. And of course I wouldn't use my tools here. I also don't know why you're thanking me, but whatever. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ada (name), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cold Mountain (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).
