:I remember you asking about this on the help desk. I'm not sure why your editing did not stick. A list of all the contributions you have made using this account can be found here. A good way to test what is happening is to make a dummy edit to the page. Just add a space at the end of a paragraph or some other unnoticeable change and try to save the page. If it saves, then you're good to go. If not, let me know and we can go from there. Hi. I've given it a week before requesting this since you last contacted me. I'd like another shot at having my talk page completely unprotected. If the threats resume, of course I'll have the protection reinstated, although in some ways I see that as giving them (the vandal) a moral victory by giving in to their threats. Aaarrgghh this is frustrating! from Cynthia Brian RE: Be the Star You Are! for TEENS
Hi TNXMAN307: I'm new to wikipedia, and you deleted Be the Star You Are! for TEENS before I could figure out what you needed. Any way to put it back? Thanks,
Analance Article
Hi Tnxman307. Could you please explain why my article Analance is tagged as proposed deletion and what can be done to suitably refine the article? thanks.
- I tagged the article because it did not show why the software was notable. All articles must demonstrate notability so they are not deleted. TNXMan 14:17, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
- please advice me how to make my article notable. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rajansryas (talk • contribs) 14:44, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
- Notability is demonstrated by significant coverage in independent, third-party reliable sources. This excludes self-published and promotional (i.e. press releases) material. If you can add references to the article that demonstrate that, it will go a long way to helping the article. TNXMan 15:01, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
- what action i have to do now? please asist me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rajansryas (talk • contribs) 15:10, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
- i have made some changes, please validate and asist. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rajansryas (talk • contribs) 07:45, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but the article still does not demonstrate notability. You'll need more reliable sources and the one that is included seems very much like a puff piece. TNXMan 11:53, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Specific Carbohydrate Diet
This is my first attempt at editing Wikipedia. I thought that the deletions were caused by a computer glitch and kept reinstating them. During my last edit, I only reinstated the info about the book by Prasad since that had been on the wiki's Specific Carbohydrate Diet entry for a long time. I want to apologize for these misunderstandings.
I want guidance as to how to make the Specific Carbohydrate Diet entry as reliable as possible. Previous contributors to this page did not provide good references so this page has lots of warnings such as "This article or section has multiple issues. Please help improve the article or discuss these issues on the talk page."
What can I do so that these warnings no longer appear. TYI
Glida7 (talk) 15:05, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- The warnings are part of the template at the top of the page and can be removed by anyone if the issues have been addressed. I would encourage you, however, to read our information on reliable sources and writing neutrally before adding material to the article. You may also find this guide to what Wikipedia is not informative also. If you have questions, feel free to ask! TNXMan 15:23, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

Reddit Comment Template
Vandalism G3 states: Pure vandalism. This includes blatant and obvious misinformation, redirects created by cleanup from page-move vandalism, and blatant hoaxes.
Rather than simply deleting an article because you unilaterally decide it doesn't belong, then incorrectly proclaiming it to be "pure vandalism" by the above definition, which it clearly is not. Perhaps you could start by opening a dialog of discussion, instead? Jamonterrell (talk) 16:01, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for quickly resolving the problem I had with an impersonator! ([1]). Your fast response was a welcome relief in the midst of several days of tough debate. – jaksmata 19:52, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
- No problem, happy to help. Just be glad your impersonator was a lot nicer than one of mine! TNXMan 19:57, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

Just giving you a heads up, I'm going to watch the user's page, too. Best, ceranthor 17:00, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- I'm OK with that, as long as they understand why they got blocked and realize they can't advertise here. Thanks for the heads up. TNXMan 17:15, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
I don't understand why you are so strict. I follow the process. How is it not notable? I provided the NBC youtube video. It is a stub, so it should be given time to be developed. 63.102.57.58 (talk) 15:32, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
- You are more than welcome to develop the article and ask for another review once you've improved it. However, at the moment, the article does not demonstrate why the band is notable. Simply existing is not enough reason to include the band in an encyclopedia. TNXMan 15:36, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
- I provided a reliable source that demonstrates notability such as this one: BoyintheShade NBC Today in New York Show June 12 2008 63.102.57.58 (talk) 15:39, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but you'll have to demonstrate notability some other way. Links to Youtube are generally inappropriate, especially links to copyrighted telecasts such as the Today Show. TNXMan 15:49, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
- Fine, I will add more info. 63.102.57.58 (talk) 15:50, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Hi Tnxman
Hey buddy, how you doing these days. I noticed this thread, and didn't know if you might want to reply, or amend my thoughts on the article. Hope all is well for you. Cheers. — Ched : ? 17:17, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
- Everything is going well. How's it been going for you? The article seemed like a poor attempt at spam, but if the user can put something together in their userspace, more power to them. TNXMan 02:46, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
Just wanted to make sure you don't think my decision to block was overruling yours ... I see COI discussions and softblocks as two different things, but if you want me to ask you in the future before softblocking when you've left a msg, please let me know on my talk page. - Dank (push to talk) 22:26, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
- Not a problem. My only concern was that there was some sort of message left for the user, templated or otherwise, before they received the block notice. If I thought you had overruled me, I would have been ranting and raving on your talk page (just kidding). Keep up the good work. TNXMan 02:44, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

Niagara Falls Suspension Bridge
Good Day Tnxman307 I am new to wikipedia work but I have 30 years experience with encyclopedia entries. Recently I edited out some errors on two different entries. One was John A Roebling and the other was Niagara Falls Suspension Bridge. The editing on the former was accepted but the editing on the latter did not stick. I tried to follow the rules as closely as I could. My only motive is accuracy. The latter (N.F.S.B.) is a spectacular entry, extremely well-crafted, one of the best I've seen in wikipedia. I see it has been peer-reviewed in 2008. Can you coach me about this? Why would my editing not stick?Jaxmrclean (talk) 11:41, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
- I remember you asking about this on the help desk. Best, TNXMan 11:46, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
