::"After nearly 50k edits and my featured input, perhaps I should make a quiet exit anyway." Wow, that is the last thing we need right now. Please tell me that was an empty threat. Tennis expert and TRMOT, please stop going at each other like little girls. I think the best thing is to disengage from these unproductive threads. To TRM: Can you hop on over to FLC? We are in need of some reviews and there is a discussion that we need your input on. :::Wow, so much bickering!!! Tennis expert deletes hostile messages from his talk page in a flash (as it is well within his rights), then complains that TRM does that too. Well, fuck me! (pardon my French) I do not believe TRM has done anything he needs to resign for. I certainly hope that User:The Rambling Man does not make it easy for User:Tennis expert, who must prove all the atrocious things he has been saying about TRM. All there is so far can, and ought to be posted to WP:BJAODN. My recommendation to TRM: blank this page now, and as often as you feel like doing thereafter. ::::Oh, I can see that many have beaten me to the task. I've come here to inform you that you're being roasted alive on a spit by Tennis expert at the ArbCom Workshop page. Sorry about that, and I hope you're having a great ramble around the globe. Blind reverts, date delinking - the pathetic sequel
In this [1] I asked the Tennis expert to refrain from blind reverting my edits in which he "damaged" (to use his phrase) Wikipedia. He simply removed the request. I do not wish to spend hours finding numerous other examples of his similar behaviour, nor do I wish to seek Arbcom sanctions against him. Nor do I wish to waste the valuable time of good editors in reading further "trash" (to use his phrase). If the community wish for me to resign then I will listen with open ears and an open mind. In the meantime I will attempt to continue to improve the Wikipedia rather than drive other editors away from it with pathetic and damaging arguments. The Rambling Man on tour (talk) 22:10, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
- I request that you resign as both bureaucrat and administrator. Best wishes for the remainder of your world tour. Tennis expert (talk) 23:34, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
- Your position is obvious, but thank you for the clarification. Perhaps you would also care to clarify the numerous "blind reverts" you made which also "damaged" Wikipedia? Somehow I doubt it. Good luck in your drive to remove Wikipedia of editors who actually care about improving articles. The Rambling Man on tour (talk) 23:45, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
- Which ones were those? I post diffs, but you seem to enjoy making unsupported derogatory comments. How unfortunate and unbecoming of a bureaucrat/administrator. And your intentionally wrongful statement about my wanting to "remove Wikipedia of editors who actually care about improving articles" is tellingly illustrative of your disruptive and incivil behavior towards me since last September. Tennis expert (talk) 23:53, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
- Since you seem to be on a crusade to remove me from Wikipedia, I will gladly reinstate your comment. Please see the diff which was provided above all the while. It links to a request that you stop removing maintenance tags, stop removing good wiki markup and stop introducing incorrect grammar into an article which you "blind reverted". I have plenty more but this is another example of the pathetic tit for tat this whole date delinking argument has become. In my time in Wikipedia I have created many featured articles, lists and topics and that is what I want to encourage everyone to do. Instead, because of this debate, Wikipedia has become a wikilawyering convention the end result of which will favour nobody. That is why I suggest we all take a look at GAN and FAC and get on with our lives. Stop flogging the already very dead horse. The Rambling Man on tour (talk) 00:10, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
- I have no interest in removing you from Wikipedia. However, I believe your behavior has been unworthy of either an administrator or a bureaucrat, which is why I believe you should resign both immediately. Tennis expert (talk) 00:16, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
- Please respond to the diff I have provided. Plus, see the usual concept for recalling admins. Until the criteria for recall is met I will continue to serve Wikipedia in the roles in which I have been elected to do so, namely blocking vandals, protecting pages, deleting nonsense, renaming editors and promoting admins. None of which have a jot to do with this witch hunt. The Rambling Man on tour (talk) 00:19, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
- What is your criteria for recall so that we'll know in advance something about the process you have chosen? Thanks. Tennis expert (talk) 00:22, 4 February 2009 (UTC) Do you believe that edit warring (including tag-team edit warring), incivility, and blind reversions are appropriate behavior for either an administrator or a bureaucrat? Do you believe that a higher standard should apply to the behavior of such a person versus the behavior of an ordinary Wikipedia editor? I'm very curious about your thoughts on this. Tennis expert (talk) 00:24, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
- Please respond the diff I have provided. Please see the default criteria for admin recall. Thanks. The Rambling Man on tour (talk) 00:25, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
- Could you give me a link to the default criteria? Thanks. Tennis expert (talk) 00:27, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
- I am having trouble finding punctuation on this Spanish keyboard but I will do my best. The Rambling Man on tour (talk) 00:29, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
- Could you give me a link to the default criteria? Thanks. Tennis expert (talk) 00:27, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

- So, you're saying that edit-warring and incivility by an administrator or bureaucrat is irrelevant to whether he or she should retain the tools because that behavior has nothing to do with "blocking vandals, protecting pages, deleting nonsense, renaming editors and promoting admins." I'm just trying to understand your thought process. Thanks. Tennis expert (talk) 00:32, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
- I would appreciate your response to your own blind reversions. But in the meantime no, admins and crats should not get heavily engaged in anything which undermines their positions. And you are prepared to throw me to the wolves and I am prepared to be thrown. We are all human and we all disagree from time to time. But you and I cannot decide this. If the community choose to remove me from Wikipedia then so be it. After nearly 50k edits and my featured input, perhaps I should make a quiet exit anyway.
