Why can't we just redirect this page like you did with Justin Moore (album) (Which i undid the redirect on because i found a track listing)? Ryanbstevens (talk) 19:34, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
I've redirected it. Ryanbstevens (talk) 19:49, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
Pictures
I was at a Blake Shelton and Aaron Tippin concert last night and got quite a few great pictures of them both. I was wondering if you think either one of them could use any new pictures some place in their articles? EnDaLeCoMpLeX (talk) 21:12, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
- What do I do about the summary for them, though? EnDaLeCoMpLeX (talk) 23:04, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, the summary below the picture after it's uploaded. Like the author, permission, etc. EnDaLeCoMpLeX (talk) 01:39, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
- That's probably be the easiest thing to do. Should I go ahead and upload them, and you can decide if they're good enough to use. Now that I looked close enough, the only good picture I got of Aaron is a little bit blurry from a lady next to me hit my elbow while I was taking it. EnDaLeCoMpLeX (talk) 18:04, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, this one, this one, and this one. EnDaLeCoMpLeX (talk) 18:19, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

I am considering going live with User:MichaelQSchmidt/sandbox/National Fibromyalgia Association. I'm feeling pretty good about 10 hours of work. Please take a look and advise of any concerns. Thank you, MichaelQSchmidt (talk) 08:02, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
Feel not down, my friend...
Besides, I'm not that upset you'd put my article on the Snow Cap in Seligman up for deletion. :) Ah, but seriously: I should've put more inline citations, sources and such. I was going to when I nominated it for DYK, but I went on wikibreak. The reviewer said the same thing about the lack of sources. Keep yon otters chirping. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 01:23, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

You once told me to ask before creating a new category. Where and who should i ask? Ryanbstevens (talk) 22:38, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

Wayne Massey
I'm very happy that you have created a page for Wayne Massey, however user:Cindy1000 consistently continues to add B-sides to his singles chart. The user has also added a very large (and unimportant) B-side table for Charly McClain's discography. According to the Wikipedia:WikiProject Discographies/style, B-sides should be avoided on a discography. I tried to explain this to her, however it seems that she says she didn't like Wiki's policies. I cannot straighten this out it seems and she keeps reverting my edits on both discographies. Can you help me solve this dilemma? 18:42, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
- Crap, I can't believe I forgot to sign my name well that never happens, sorry! I think you mean an administrator right? Ok well I think I will do that you don't have to get involved thanks! Dottiewest1fan (talk) 21:21, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
- Hey you guys... Have a heart... The b-side issue is being debated on the proposed discography policy page and there are very good arguments in favor of allowing this information. There is certainly no harm. It is not true that I simply don't like Wiki policies. This is not a policy, it is a guideline and Wiki encourages challenges to guidelines. There are in fact several pages of other artists that include this info. I honestly believe that this is pertinent and sought after information. Dottiewest1fan, you deem it unimportant, but that is your opinion and it is not shared universaly. TenPoundHammer, I too am very happy that you have created a page for Wayne Massey and you know how much I have contributed to it. (Cindy10000 (talk) 21:41, 22 July 2009 (UTC)).
- I just left the following response to you on my talk page and repeat it here because I don't know if you get responses left on another user's page. Please consider.
- "Yes, B-sides are much harder to source. All the more reason to compile the information. In time, this info will be lost if not documented. I happen to have original copies of all the 45RPM records in question and so know the info to be absolutely factual. (I can scan them for you to prove it) Accuracy is extremely important to me and so is completeness. By the way, it is not correct that there not other pages that include b-sides, because there are. I would hate to see those deleted and other people who went to the effort to compile the information upset too. Also, as I stated in another communication, the guidelines are not policy. There has been and is current discussion on this topic going on. (Cindy10000 (talk) 22:04, 22 July 2009 (UTC))." (Cindy10000 (talk) 22:13, 22 July 2009 (UTC)).

Not specifically asking your advice because I know this discog is pointless, the musician might be notable but his music doesn't seem to be by enough and it's created by a well known dumb kiddie vandal so yeah... Anyway, what I do want you to do is basically do my dirty work and push it along to AfD because I'm unable to state just how this article is flawed in a way which doesn't read as being based on some bad guy doing it and me not liking it much. I looked hard through every single policy and guideline related to musical notability but came up empty. treelo radda 14:42, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
- You couldn't just redirect it like I did? Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many otters • One bat • One hammer) 14:50, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
- You couldn't have replied here like I did? Well, OK, I'm very lazy and a redirect just seemed... like not much more than a blanking. S'alright though, all is cool for now but just be careful keep an eye on it should it return to an article... xe's a sneaky one! treelo radda 14:56, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
BlackHawk
"Damn it"?!?! ... Real nice... Well you happen to be wrong, but I just don't give a shit anymore. I thought it good to include all facts, but I guess not. Go ahead an be ignorant. I happen to have gotten the information straight from the horse's mouth... My guess is that you assume that it can't be the same group because of the date when BlackHawk was separately formed... Well, they had a previous life with Massey who owned the name and gave it to the members of the band when they parted ways... But, it's not important to me, so think what you want.(65.122.202.206 (talk) 00:19, 24 July 2009 (UTC)).
- So, do you think that it makes sense to put the info back (it is true after all) until I can find an acceptable 3rd party source?... I am having trouble understanding how original research or knowledge is a bad thing. (65.122.202.206 (talk) 01:56, 24 July 2009 (UTC)).
dazzle dancers
hi,
this page should be deleted... there is some editor whom is being very rude on this page... they are a music group with strong gay overtones...
not notable at all as per the music requirement..

i beleive the editor is part of the group since he is so arrogant and rude. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.12.221.105 (talk) 04:34, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
Review
Is Roughtstock every going to do a single review of Billy Ray's "A Good Day". I'd like to see your take on the song. I for one, think it's not the best song on the album, however, it is growing on me. EnDaLeCoMpLeX (talk) 15:14, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Please explain your justification for turning this page into a redirect. Bwmoll3 (talk) 01:04, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

- What happens when the sun doesn't come up in the morning? You didn't have a problem with her last album being written up prior to the release date. Why this one? Bwmoll3 (talk) 03:40, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
- The handful of articles I've written about Patty Loveless, are probably about a dozen out of the 10,000 articles I've initiated on Wikipedia, not counting the over 40,000 edits. And I don't OWN any of them. I personally find your attitude quite childish and your comment "who doesn't believe in redirects and is constantly rude at me for no reason at all when I harm "his" articles" quite insulting. Also, it's quite apparent that your attitude is not suitable for being an administrator here on Wikipedia, which is quite immature. If you don't appreciate my reversing your edits that's fine. Put up the Articles for Deletion page and let the user community decide. As far as your views, I consider them about as relevant as that of a two year old who cries, stamps their feet and makes a general nuisance of themselves when they don't get their way. And personally, the less I have to deal with you, the better. Bwmoll3 (talk) 00:46, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
Not appreciated
Hi TPH, just to let you know I really did not appreciate the NAC you did [1] for User:Yarrby. Personally with the vote for close I would not have picked NAC for keep. Maybe take a bit more time next time to ensure that consensus is reached. meshach (talk) 04:46, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
- Lesse, a userspace redirect to mainspace... I'm going to figure either a blanking or deletion would be the only reasonable outcomes for that RfD so might as well just jump to the end and remove the rd. Cross-namespace redirects are not really accepted so the NAC was appropriate. treelo radda 19:18, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
- I guess. But no one else had even added to the discussion but me (the nom). NAC are supposed to be used in cases were consensus is clear. Not a big deal but I think TPH could tone it down a bit. Cheers, meshach (talk) 19:03, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
- You're right partially (more later) but what'd you rather he did? Wait the five or so days for an obvious outcome to a bad redirect into articlespace? Fair enough, he could have simply tagged it as a R2 speedy which'd end up in a deletion but he did act with consensus with regards to the policy against mainspace redirects in userspace. Even with that though, I feel he should tone it down a touch too because his speedy without the admin bit method of fixing issues are a bit too... well, patronising, especially if you know what you're doing as well as he does. Thing is it's all a bit quick when haste isn't necessary and if anything that style works against the ethos of consensus-building. It's OK to suggest someone is doing something to you seems wrong but dammit to hell if it isn't the single most annoying thing to have someone do it anyway without asking then saying "why didn't you do it this way, huh?" as if their way was the single correct way to do it. treelo radda 19:38, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

Twinkle
Can I not use Twinkle or something? Like the code is in my monobook and I have selected in my preferences. Is it because I don't have a Mac or Firefox, or something different? EnDaLeCoMpLeX (talk) 02:53, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
- Hm, I'm going to figure you might need to enable the Javascript compatibility library at the bottom within preferences because I'm going to figure you have Internet Explorer and it doesn't play nice with Twinkle or any other gadgets really. What I will also tell you in no uncertain terms is to get a better browser. Also, if you also have TW in your monobook as well as enabled as a gadget you might want to remove one. treelo radda 09:50, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
