Plantinga and Theistic Evolution
Hi Student of Philosophy,
Personally, I don't want to buy into the debate over whether or not Plantinga's Evolutionary argument against naturalism is, or is not, compatible with Theistic Evolution. However, I have just added links to audio and text of Plantinga's Biola lecture on EAAN where he concludes that a traditional theist (i.e. Jewish, Moslem, or Christian theist) "may indeed endorse some form of evolution; but if she does, it will be a form of evolution guided and orchestrated by God." - see the penultimate paragraph of the [text of the lecture].
As a person who has taken extensive interest in the EAAN article, I thought this may be of interest to you. Muzhogg (talk) 21:23, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
Block evasion
Per the blocking policy, I have re-set for block evasion (see WP:EVADE). See this edit for evidence of the connection between Student of philosophy (talk · contribs) and 194.124.140.39 (talk · contribs) (or simply peruse their editing history). Guettarda (talk) 23:54, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
- (ec, in response to this edit) Um, no. Look over the sequence of events again - you are quite clearly mistaken. You were blocked by William M. Connolley for edit-warring with Dave souza, Sophus Bie and User:Hrafn, you second block of the sort in about 3 weeks. I am none of these people. And, contrary to what you had to say, Dave clearly explained his action. You switched to this account, thereby evading your block. Blocked user are not allowed to edit Wikipedia for the duration of their block, regardless of the nature of the edits made. (The correct thing for me to do would have been to revert all of your edits made while you were circumventing your block, but that slipped my mind.) You made the choice to refuse to abide by our policies (first the three-revert rule, then the blocking policy). Don't blame other people for your own choices. Guettarda (talk) 21:04, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
