Disambiguation link notification for June 25
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
- 1960 NBA Finals (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver)

Use of "American Basketball Players" category
Hello Robert4565 - I noticed that you added Category:American basketball players to the article for Cody Zeller. I just wanted to make you aware that if an article is in one of the state categories (example - Category:Basketball players from Indiana) this parent category is not necessary. If you look at the Indiana category, it (and all the other states) is already in the American players category. Thanks and happy editing. Rikster2 (talk) 17:34, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
Hi Rikster2,
I understand why you wouldn't want me to do that, but what if there are readers living in another country and don't know that Indiana is in the United States?
Robert (talk) 18:28, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
- You wouldn't add Sportspeople from Australia to An article that already had Sportspeople from Sydney, would you? This is basic Wikipedia category structure at work. It is a good learning opportunity. Rikster2 (talk) 00:25, 26 June 2013 (UTC)

Time of day
Hi Robert, I just wanted to let you know that I fixed some of the manual of style changes you made in 1906 Hong Kong typhoon. You changed am to AM several times in the article but Wikipedia policy WP:MOSTIME states "12-hour clock times end with dotted or undotted lower-case a.m. or p.m., or am or pm." I'm sure you probably just didn't know this, so it's no big deal as it's now fixed, I just figured I mention it here so you would know for future reference. As for the rest of the MOS changes you made in the article, good work, I think you're getting the hang of this now. Cmr08 (talk) 22:01, 1 July 2013 (UTC)
Hi Cmr08, thank you for letting me know.
Robert (talk) 22:04, 1 July 2013 (UTC)
Hi Cmr08, Is there a way how I can see how many total articles I have edited since the creation of my account and how would I make a word so that I can click on it to bring me to the article? There is a new editing style and I tried looking it up on the wikipedia help pages about editing and it wasn't there.
Thank you Robert (talk) 21:38, 4 July 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Robert, it's pretty easy to check your edit count. On your contributions page, at the very bottom is a box with several links in it, such as edit count, articles created, etc. Just click on edit count. As for your second question, I'm sorry but I don't understand what you mean. What article do you want to link? What do you mean by make a word?
- Also, Robert if you want to send me a message or ask me a question, please use my talk page. It's only by chance that I happened upon this message. If you send it to my page, than I get a notification alerting me, the same as when I or others message you. It's ok to respond back to me on your page if I message you because I will check back, but if it's a new topic, I will likely not find about it if it's not sent to me. Cmr08 (talk) 00:11, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
Hi Cmr08, Sometimes if you click on a word it directs you to the article with that name. When I edited, there was a new view of editing like it let me edit the article when it looked like the actual page displayed. If you don't know what I mean that's okay, I'll figure out a way.
Robert (talk) 01:18, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
- Robert, I'd really like to help but I'm still confused about what you mean by new editing style. I see nothing different when I edit, what exactly is it that looks different when you try to edit? Did you change anything in your "preferences" that may have resulted in the screen looking different?
- As for the clicking a word thing, when you say "click on a word it directs you to the article with that name", are you referring to wikilinks in the article or do you mean when you disambiguate a wikilink so that it directs to a specific article other than what appears in the text? I've seen you add wikilinks and fix wikilinks in articles without any problems, so I doubt that's what you mean. Can you explain the question a bit more, and if I still don't know, I'll try to help you figure it out. Cmr08 (talk) 02:24, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
Hi again Cmr08,
Sorry if I confused you, I didn't mean to do that. I meant to say wikilinks. Sometimes when I edit, there is no way to add a wikilink because the page has a different look when I edit it. I add [[ ]] to a word but it didn't add the wikilink.
thanks again, Robert (talk) 02:29, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Robert, I think I may know the problem. When you say it "looks different", are you refering to the wiki markup that appears below the editbox? Does it still appear but you can't click on them? If this is the problem, then go to your "preferences", click on 'editing' and make sure both boxes under usability features at the bottom are checked. This will enable the editing toolbar and the dialogs for inserting links etc. I have had this happen to me a number of times, and don't know how they ever became unchecked. They may have been reset by mistake or something. If this isn't the problem then you would probably be better off contacting a more experienced editor than me about this because I can't think of what else could cause the problem. Minor edits
Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Adolescent cliques, as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Jrcla2 (talk) 20:18, 7 July 2013 (UTC)
Hi Jrcla2,
I usually mark them as "minor" edits if they are minor just not that time. I will always remember to mark all edits appropriately.

Please don't change the format of dates, as you did to We're All No One. As a general rule, if an article has evolved using predominantly one format, the dates should be left in the format they were originally written in, unless there are reasons for changing it based on strong national ties to the topic. Please also note that Wikipedia does not use ordinal suffixes (e.g., st, nd, th), articles, or leading zeros on dates.
For more information about how dates should be written on Wikipedia, please see this page.
If you have any questions about this, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Thank you. Cmr08 (talk) 07:41, 12 July 2013 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Eldar Gasimov, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. The article is written in European English and not American English per guidelines at WP:ENGVAR. Wesley ☮ Mouse 10:06, 16 July 2013 (UTC)

Adding wikilinks to add a comma
Hi Robert, why are you adding redirections to wikilinks just to add a comma? I have had to revert a number of edits you made like this. If you want to add a comma after a name, word etc, just add the comma after the brackets. All you're doing is making unneeded work for yourself and for those that have go back and fix that work. Just look at the difference between these two edits, yours[1], and the fixed edit[2]. Do you see what I mean? It would have saved you a lot of time just to add the comma. I've tried to fix as many as I could, but there's probably others I missed. Cmr08 (talk) 00:11, 17 July 2013 (UTC)
Hi Cmr08, I noticed that same problem when I added a comma. I tried to make the comma separate from the redirect but I couldn't because I couldn't see the bracket when I edited. I clicked on edit instead of edit source that was why. I'll go back and see what others need to fixed and fix them.
