Hi. Hoax speedy deletions are really for blatant hoaxes, so if it's not obviously vandalism it shouldn't be tagged as a blatant hoax. [[Raj Narayan Dube]] didn't seem like a particularly obvious hoax. More importantly, though, you can't add a speedy deletion under the same criterion if it's legitimately declined by another editor. Once it's declined, move to a less rapid deletion process such as [[WP:PROD]] or [[WP:AFD]], don't just keep re-tagging the article. That's true for any situation if the same criterion is used to justify a speedy deletion, but it's particularly true if the same editor continues to re-add speedy deletion tags - it's somewhat like [[WP:FORUMSHOPPING]]. Before blocking me, the edit was accidental. I have brought up this error and apologise for any inconvenience. This was a mistake, as my user sandbox was a copied page, thus leading me to think that the actual wiki page was my user sandbox. The sandbox is now being reformed to avoid further confusion.
Thanks.

Hello, I'm Philafrenzy. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Norfolk Constabulary have been undone because it did not appear constructive. Thanks for verifying the article. Promotional Attack (talk)
- In what respect do you believe the article to be a hoax? It all looked fine to me. Philafrenzy (talk) 21:41, 1 February 2016 (UTC)
I foumd the 'Officers killed in line of duty' section quite suspicious, along with several uncited sources that looked miscellaneous. Promotional Attack (talk) 16:13, 2 February 2016 (UTC)
- It all checks out and I fixed the ref. Please don't suggest whole articles are hoaxes based on that sort of rationale. Are you connected to this user: 217.39.112.165?
Not in any way associated with the IP. Judging by the amount of vandalism, it could be a possible workplace/school IP address, or possibly a massive Wikipedia suicide. Promotional Attack (talk) 23:23, 2 February 2016 (UTC)
- OK, good to have that on the record. Philafrenzy (talk) 23:26, 2 February 2016 (UTC)
Hoax speedy
Hi. Hoax speedy deletions are really for blatant hoaxes, so if it's not obviously vandalism it shouldn't be tagged as a blatant hoax. Raj Narayan Dube didn't seem like a particularly obvious hoax. More importantly, though, you can't add a speedy deletion under the same criterion if it's legitimately declined by another editor. Once it's declined, move to a less rapid deletion process such as WP:PROD or WP:AFD, don't just keep re-tagging the article. That's true for any situation if the same criterion is used to justify a speedy deletion, but it's particularly true if the same editor continues to re-add speedy deletion tags - it's somewhat like WP:FORUMSHOPPING.
