Marijuana vending machine
Hello there. Have you seen a Marijuana vending machine? A photo is much needed. Best, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 01:18, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
- I have never seen one in action. I suggested the very same thing that there needs to be a picture. Thanks for your input!! --Potguru (talk) 01:25, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
- Pity. I've been looking for a pic ever since I started that article.
- I've moved your article to the mainspace, as you can see. If you see any other links to the old draft, please direct them to the article in the mainspace. We aren't supposed to make cross-space links like that.
- Also, is any of that text copy pasted from anywhere?
- Best, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 01:39, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
- Any on my page (marijuana dispensary)? No, that is all my text... none is copied. It is all 100% original. (I'll ask around about vending machines but I've seen none in the dozens of shops I've been too both med and rec).. Thanks again, hope you like your potsticker!!! --Potguru (talk) 01:42, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
- Good news about the text. I see so much good prose like that and I get suspicious. :) You've put together a great new asset for the project. Much needed. So, no vending machines out there, eh? Too bad. And yes, loved the potsticker. Thank you. :) Happy trails. No, wait. That's acid. :) Anna Frodesiak (talk) 02:08, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
- After reviewing the article, I have moved it back to draft space. I think the best way forward is to start over with a stub definition of the topic and work from there. You also need to identify at least one good reliable source on the subject of cannabis dispensaries. Viriditas (talk) 20:41, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
Don't remove other people's posts
Potguru, I realize you're new. Please note that while you're allowed to remove your own comments (provided nobody has replied to them), you mustn't remove other people's comments, as you did here and here, along with some of your own. Also Viriditas is not a "vandal"; don't throw that slur around so carelessly. Read WP:NOTVAND. Bishonen | talk 22:18, 20 January 2016 (UTC).
User is a vandal. He destroyed my article with the comment: Viriditas moved page Marijuana dispensary to Medical cannabis dispensary: "Marijuana" is a non-neutral term popularized by racists and prohibitionists
He has an opinion and he abused his power. I am reporting his vandalism now. --Potguru (talk) 22:46, 20 January 2016 (UTC)

Thank you for making a report on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, it appears that the editor you reported may not have engaged in vandalism, or the user was not sufficiently or appropriately warned. Please note there is a difference between vandalism and unhelpful or misguided edits made in good faith. If the user continues to vandalise after a recent final warning, please re-report it. Thank you. Class455fan1 (talk) 22:54, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
- Your AIV report was removed, because there is no vandalism here. Just because Viriditas moved your page, its not the end of the world. At least it hasnt been deleted. Class455fan1 (talk) 22:55, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
Marijuana dispensary
Hi! A few things... First you cannot cut and paste pages from one place to another, as you did at Marijuana dispensary. Doing this loses author attribution, which is a copyright issue. Secondly, in terms of an encyclopedia, we refer to the plant as "cannabis" and not "marijuana". There has been lengthy discussion on that, so let's stay with cannabis, which is no big deal as "marijuana" will redirect to the right article. Finally, I'm not sure your draft is ready for the mainspace. It could use a little cleanup, which maybe I can help you with. When it comes time to move it, you'll need to do a requested move to take the Cannabis dispensary title, as that is currently being used as a redirect. We can help you with that when it comes time. Thanks and let me know if you need anymore help — MusikAnimal talk 22:59, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
I appreciate your input but it is misguided. If you'd like to school someone, please head here. --Potguru (talk) 23:10, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
January 2016
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Talk:Marijuana dispensary, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 23:09, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
Have you made this warning to Viriditas, the person who vandalized my page or just me? --Potguru (talk) 23:11, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Marijuana dispensary. Mlpearc (open channel) 23:30, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
All these users making false assumptions. Kindly ask me if you'd like to know what's going on with the marijuana dispensary page. Please do not make assumptions. --Potguru (talk) 23:41, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
Keep cool Admins will have no problem blocking you if you continue being disruptive and start going after other editors like you're doing. Wikipedia will go on just fine without you so I suggest you apologize or at least move on if you can't do that. That this advice before it's too late.TheGracefulSlick (talk) 23:43, 20 January 2016 (UTC)

.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

Request reason:
editor chose to block even though I've done nothing since my last post on my talk page. All I did was past into marijauan dispensary, an article i wrote which was "erased" ny another user who was abusing his power. Editor was overreaching in his block. Editor should have taken the time to look at the underlying problem where a user, due to inappropriate fears of the word "marijuana" chose to push my page back to draft mode. Kindly unblock me. --Potguru (talk) 23:49, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You were warned to stop, and you persisted. If you continue edit-warring after this block expires, your next block will be for a longer duration. OhNoitsJamie Talk 00:08, 21 January 2016 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
@Materialscientist: Currently discussing the outstanding issue with user off-wiki on irc. Will discuss with them their and get back here regarding their issue that led to the block. Amortias (T)(C) 23:58, 20 January 2016 (UTC)

Request reason:
Notes:
- In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
- Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:
{{Unblock on hold |1=blocking administrator |2=you state "decline = You were warned to stop, and you persisted. " I did not. I saw the warnings and then I stopped. On the other hand I was blocked almost immediately after the warnings were given. You gave me no time to comply. Anna's description below is probably accurate except that she doesn't see the note reading "(Viriditas moved page Marijuana dispensary to Medical cannabis dispensary: "Marijuana" is a non-neutral term popularized by racists and prohibitionists) (undo)" I contend Viriditas is offended by the term (as stated) and that is the only reason it was moved back to drafts. |3 = ~~~~}}
If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting {{subst:Decline reason here}}
with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.
{{unblock reviewed |1=you state "decline = You were warned to stop, and you persisted. " I did not. I saw the warnings and then I stopped. On the other hand I was blocked almost immediately after the warnings were given. You gave me no time to comply. If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here
with your rationale:
{{unblock reviewed |1=you state "decline = You were warned to stop, and you persisted. " I did not. I saw the warnings and then I stopped. Holy moly
I just woke up and the universe is upside down. Dear oh dear! My apologies if I have caused all this by moving it to the mainspace prematurely.
Okay, the facts as I know them:
- User:Viriditas moved the article back to draft space.
- You are blocked for 31 hours for doing things when everyone said "stop doing those things".
- You had absolutely no idea that this could happen and feel it is out of process. You then checked Viriditas' talk page to see if he had been warned about this. Nothing. You then swore really, really loud and are now furious.
- Others have posted at the administrators' noticeboard asking for an independent review.
You must be livid! I understand. The same sort of thing has happened to me before. And I was just writing to another user about this exact same type of thing.
Okay, so here is the plan:
- First, do not edit! Do not edit with an IP or make another account. That would be disasterous.
- Stay calm and patient. Countless times I have seen someone freak out for naught. The next day, everything is worked out. So, calm and patient.
- This will get resolved by the community as a group decision. Either way, it is good. If the community decides that gutting the article is right, fine. That would mean it was your mistake because we trust them more than an individual, like you or me. If the article needs a few modifications, fine. The article will be in the mainspace in a short time and you've lost practically nothing. If the article was fine all along, then there may be apologies to you and a "Hey! Not to cool!" to Viriditas.
- Whether or not this move from article back to draft was out of process is not yet clear. I've seen it done. The community will decide what too. I'm looking for policies and guidelines on that.
Now, where is this draft review that I didn't read that contains issues that were not address when I moved it to the mainspace? I see something that says it overlaps with headshop.
I saw a bunch of "post and remove" actions by you. I'm not sure what that was about but will inspect further.
That's all for now. Stay calm. Don't worry. Be patient. This is not personal. All is not lost. Things get sorted out. :) Anna Frodesiak (talk) 00:49, 21 January 2016 (UTC)
