Information should generally be [[WP:V|verified]] with reference to [[WP:RS|reliable sources]], preferably independent of the subject of the article. The others are issues too, but if you had sources for your information you could, for example, present them on the article page, and allow others to use them appropriately. Patrick Moore (environmentalist)
I reverted your edits to Patrick Moore (environmentalist). To me, some of it violated WP:NPOV and some of it was assertion of fact without citations. There was no edit comment or talk entry to support your edit on this very contentious article. Also, your edit removed some useful wikification and bloated the introduction with biographical details.
That said, it looked like there was some valuable content there. I would like you to consider renewing your edits in smaller portions, with references, and with edit comments and/or talk comments. You may also want to put something on your user page asserting that you are not, in fact, Patrick Moore himself, despite your username.
As you may know, Patrick Moore is a very controversial person. People have very strong opinions about him and are very sensitive of comments that paint him as hero or villain. In all likelihood, your edits would have soon been reverted with an angry response. If you don't believe me, reinstate your edits to see what happens. I will leave them alone.
If you'd like some help reworking your edits, let me know. I'll try to help. I'd have reworked them some instead of reverting them tonight, but I don't have a lot of time to give the Wikipedia right now. —BozoTheScary (talk) 05:00, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
