Since you essentially reverted my redirection of Staff of Life to The Coral Sea (book) (which I do not object to), what do you think about the rest of the redirects to The Coral Sea (book)? I'm thinking most, if not all of them, should be deleted. <span style="color: #2F4F4F;">Steel1943</span> (talk) 14:54, 20 April 2018 (UTC) |

:Steel1943 Yes, I did realise I was being perhaps a bit bold in killing off your redirect. I'm not sure that individual chapters (?) of a prose poem merit redirects, are you? I could, perhaps should, have made "Staff of life" a redirect to bread and left "Staff of Life" as the redirect to the book ... but any "redirect" hatnotes would have been pretty ungainly. Not sure of the best solution, and no strong feelings - I was just rescuing a threatened useful redirect at WP:RfD. Thanks for reminding me dance again as if one robot Boylen was not enough to make me understand that skills for free aren't appreciated and always pointed out. |

Rudeness is in that giving warning won't solve the problem either. |

Articles if edited or even created by me need some time and it is about the person or place what is wanted by masses atleast Asian masses to know. |

It is like you all pointing air saying that we can't see it so it isn't there. |

Thanks once again. |

I wonder why . . . |

It happens that I forget the things which elders told me above mentioned rule was one of them then this disobedience of not following the thumbrule makes even robots point out. Mansukhsurin (talk) 16:11, 20 April 2018 (UTC) |

New Page Review Newsletter No.10
ACTRIAL:
- ACTRIAL's six month experiment restricting new page creation to (auto)confirmed users ended on 14 March. As expected, a greatly increased number of unsuitable articles and candidates for deletion are showing up in the feed again, and the backlog has since increased already by ~30%. Please consider reviewing a few extra articles each day.
Paid editing
- Now that ACTRIAL is inoperative pending discussion, please be sure to look for tell-tale signs of undisclosed paid editing. Contact the creator if appropriate, and submit the issue to WP:COIN if necessary.
Subject-specific notability guidelines
- The box at the right contains each of the subject-specific notability guidelines, please review any that are relevant BEFORE nominating an article for deletion.
- Reviewers are requested to familiarise themselves with the new version of the notability guidelines for organisations and companies. A further discussion is currently taking place at: Can a subject specific guideline invalidate the General Notability Guideline?
Nominate competent users for Autopatrolled
- While patrolling articles, if you find an editor that is particularly competent at creating quality new articles, and that user has created more than 25 articles (rather than stubs), consider nominating them for the 'Autopatrolled' user right HERE.
News
- The next issue Wikipedia's newspaper The Signpost has now been published after a long delay. There are some articles in it, including ACTRIAL wrap-up that will be of special interest to New Page Reviewers. Don't hesitate to contribute to the comments sections. The Signpost is one of the best ways to stay up date with news and new developments - please consider subscribing to it. All editors of Wikipedia and associated projects are welcome to submit articles on any topic for consideration by the The Signpost's editorial team for the next issue.

CSD
Hi Pam,
You were probably right to CSD that article, pixel whatever something. A website not indicating notability, but it was (apparently) about seven minutes old and created by a new user. I was going to give the editor another 15 mins to respond before suggesting he or she sand box it. I hope that wasn’t wrong. I was trying to factor encouragement into my methods. Edaham (talk) 21:50, 19 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Edaham: You may be right - I should perhaps have looked at the history of Pixilart before CSDing it. But the new user hasn't made any more edits since the one edit where they started that unsourced stub, though it's now 40 minutes. PamD 21:57, 19 April 2018 (UTC)
Redirects to The Coral Sea (book)
PamD,
Since you essentially reverted my redirection of Staff of Life to The Coral Sea (book) (which I do not object to), what do you think about the rest of the redirects to The Coral Sea (book)? I'm thinking most, if not all of them, should be deleted. Steel1943 (talk) 14:54, 20 April 2018 (UTC)
