License tagging for Image:34barbarian.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:34barbarian.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 12:05, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
Welcome!
Hello, Nefirious, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- Tutorial
- How to edit a page
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}}
before the question. Again, welcome!
Personal note
I appreciate your recent edits on topics such as Daulatabad and Aurangabad. Keep up the good work! --nemonoman (talk) 13:21, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
However, when editing Aurangzeb please note that the article content has always been hotly contested, and you'll likely see many reverts and comments. I recommend using more citations in that article especially, which makes it easier for other editors to separate fact from opinion. --nemonoman (talk) 16:45, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for the advise. I would do the needful.

IP Block exemption
I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.
Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.
Note in particular that you are not permitted to use this newly-granted right to edit Wikipedia via anonymous proxies, or disruptively. If you do, or there is a serious concern of abuse, then the right may be removed by any administrator.
Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).
I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. Daniel Case (talk) 16:07, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
Malik Ambar
Why do you keep putting that picture of him up? That's not how he looked. I discussed it many times on the page, but you keep undoing the edit. What's the deal? vap (talk) 17:24, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
The picture does not say where the original portrait was, or when it was made. We need to know this. Daniel Case (talk) 05:11, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
Put the date this appeared in the Times of India, or the publication info for the book, in the description template on the page. Daniel Case (talk) 05:19, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
Also, why do you keep saying you are forced to block me? I seriously doubt that you have that authority, or ability for that matter. Please show this proof that the picture is a true depiction. I've seen none. I have however seen multiple pictures of Malik Ambar looking more like the links I gave in the discussion page(which you never replied to.)
vap (talk) 05:21, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
Fine that you are from the town, and want to enlighten people. I did discuss it for a couple days and you never responded. I even posted links in the discussion page to show how he really looked. You still didn't respond. This is why the picture was taken down. It's better to have no picture than to have an incorrect one. You know that's not how a full blooded Ethiopian looks. Why would you even post that. Are you trying to mislead people? vap (talk) 05:36, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
- I removed GA status from this article. Please read the Good article nomination instructions, and please note that GA reviews (and passing or failing of the article) must be done by other uninvolved editors. Regards, Dabomb87 (talk) 14:31, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
Image tagging for File:Golden Tocu.jpg

To add this information, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Could you please specify the part you disagree with? Thank you SpitfireTally-ho! 08:21, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
- uhm, what? You haven't made any chages to it, save for removing the tag (thank you) but then replacing it with a context tag, why? What makes you think it is lacking context? Thank you SpitfireTally-ho! 08:26, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

disputed fair use rationale-notice
Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Copy of 12062009755.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:Copy of 12062009755.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Exit2DOS2000•T•C• 00:14, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
