How am I trying to censor information? Why are you quoting WP:CENSOR when it has nothing to do with why I reverted you? Its relevance to Australia's 2017 debate on same-sex marriage is noted earlier in the article. We just don't talk about iTunes statistics per another guideline, WP:SINGLEVENDOR, as it is one retailer's statistics. Also, it did not reach number one in Australia because of the marriage survey, it reached number one because Macklemore came here to perform several of his songs including "Same Love" during the 2017 NRL Grand Final, when the survey was still underway, and conservatives thought it would prejudice people in favour of same-sex marriage. Also, your wording is not the best, as you've said "it was revived on the charts". That isn't encyclopedic language. Thank you. Ss112 20:00, 30 November 2017 (UTC) |

:Yes, you get consensus first. You don't restore first then discuss. Read WP:BRD, and don't revert again. Ss112 20:05, 30 November 2017 (UTC) |

Tristan da Cunha
Hello, it's me KLO2015. I've noticed that you've reverted/edited some of my recent contributions on wiki due to a lack of reliable source. However, the reference is linked to a post from the Governor herself regarding the issue of SSM in the overseas territory of Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha. There's also another reference link in one of the articles that you've reverted/edited that has a Facebook post from the Governor regarding the issue of SSM on Saint Helena Island.
If you want, you could contact her either directly or indirectly either through social media or any other convenient means of getting a reliable source on this issue. I don't know any reliable online sites that provides any detailed news on what's going on in Tristan da Cunha. I get my news about what goes on the island from either the TdC Island Council official website or through social media (i.e., Twitter and Facebook (even though I don't have an account for the latter, so I can't view posts or accounts directly)).
Another person that reported this news is John Turner, who posted the news through a Facebook page called St Helena News & Travel. If you want, you could ask him through social media.
Let me know if anything else comes up on this issue and/or if you hear anything back from these two individuals.

I thought it was constructive, you say it is not. You say my edits are vandalism, I think you are the vandal. So now what?
I thought it was constructive, you say it is not. You say my edits are vandalism, I think you are the vandal. So now what?
I mean, how can I convince you I know this entity, and the version you reverted to is incorrect and constitutes, in my mind, vandalism?
How can I convince you that my edits are constructive, and not vandalism, as you allege?

Vandalism
Before you accuse anyone else of "vandalism", I recommend that you read up on what vandalism is and is not on Wikipedia. Attempts to remove apparently incorrect information do not in any way qualify, and putting out false accusations of vandalism does not help the project. (As it is, the new number you inserted in there is also problematic, as you will find discussed on the ULC talk page.) --Nat Gertler (talk) 00:37, 1 September 2017 (UTC)
Canadian banks template
Hello, this is to let you know that I have restored the section on credit union centrals at Template:Canadian banks. These are organization that, while still financial coorperatives, are distinct from credit unions such as Meridian, DUCA, etc. in that they provide financial clearing and other bank services (as well as trade association services) to their member credit unions within their province(s) of jurisdiction. If you still feel there is an issue, I'd be happy to discuss it on the talk page. Cheers! RA0808 talkcontribs 15:26, 8 September 2017 (UTC)
Cut/Copy and Paste Moves
Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Canadian Tire Bank a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you.
