:::I haven't and I won't look at an irrelevant discussion. Like I said, WP:RSN is where we decide whether a source should be blacklisted. M.Bitton (talk) 00:06, 15 October 2023 (UTC) |

Congratulations from WP:STiki!
The Gold STiki Barnstar of Merit
| ||
Congratulations, M.Bitton! You're receiving this barnstar of merit because you recently crossed the 25,000 classification threshold using STiki.
We thank you both for your contributions to Wikipedia at-large and your use of the tool. We hope you continue your ascent up the leaderboard and stay in touch at the talk page. Thank you and keep up the good work! West.andrew.g (talk) 14:40, 5 December 2019 (UTC) |
A barnstar for you!
The Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar
Hi, because of lack of time, i was not able to complete the article yesterday, thank you very much for taking the time to explain me how to use the Harv style and for completing (and correcting my mistakes) my edits at Medo-Babylonian conquest of the Assyrian Empire. Cheers. ---Wikaviani (talk) (contribs) 21:36, 20 June 2020 (UTC) |
A barnstar for you!
The Anti-Vandalism Barnstar
It’s always great to see more people fighting vandalism. Have a star! Jeb3Talk at me hereWhat I've Done 23:41, 12 August 2020 (UTC) |
A cup of coffee for you!
I see that you check recent edits for appropriateness. I clicked through to see a set of the reversions that you had made for rejected submissions, and I agreed with all of what I saw you had done. It seemed apparent to me through the decisions you made and the comments that you left that you were giving human attention to the decisions you made rather than over-relying on tools and automation. Thanks for that, and thanks especially for the notes you leave. You are doing good review. Blue Rasberry (talk) 01:39, 18 October 2021 (UTC) |
- @Bluerasberry: Thank you so much for your words of encouragement. Best, M.Bitton (talk) 22:07, 18 October 2021 (UTC)

Another barnstar for you!

For answering a lot of edit requests and helping to keep the backlog at bay. For a while, I was taking care of that on my own, and it feels nice to see someone else get to it first every now and then! Actualcpscm (talk) 17:22, 17 March 2023 (UTC) |
- @Actualcpscm: thank you very much for the encouragement and for tackling those time consuming edit requests that tend to be pushed to the back of the queue. Keep up the great work! Best, M.Bitton (talk) 22:39, 17 March 2023 (UTC)
A barnstar for your incredible work on the Horn of Africa relief map :)

Here's a barnstar for your incredible work on the Horn of Africa relief map! Really appreciate the effort you put into it :) KluskaSlaska (talk) 16:21, 21 May 2023 (UTC) |
Also, on a related note, I would love to do some more map work once I have more time in late summer. Do you have any good guides on how to get started on maps for Wikipedia? :) KluskaSlaska (talk) 16:21, 21 May 2023 (UTC)
- @KluskaSlaska: Thank you so much for your feedback. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any good guides that would help you. Best, M.Bitton (talk) 14:02, 17 June 2023 (UTC)

Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed in myself for not giving this to you sooner! You have been a great help creating maps for many articles, don't stop doing what you do! – Treetoes023 (talk) 22:09, 11 July 2023 (UTC) |

Edit requests
Hi! Please remember to change the edit request template parameter from ans=no
to ans=yes
when answering edit requests. There are user scripts like User:Jackmcbarn/editProtectedHelper and User:Terasail/Edit Request Tool you can use. Thank you for the work you do! NotAGenious (talk) 16:51, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
- @NotAGenious: which edit request are you referring to? M.Bitton (talk) 16:53, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
- Talk:Java (programming language) for example. NotAGenious (talk) 16:54, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
- @NotAGenious: that's very strange and surely a one off, because the edit request tool changes the parameter automatically. M.Bitton (talk) 16:58, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
- @NotAGenious: on closer inspection, this looks like something that happens when an edit request is malformed. M.Bitton (talk) 17:02, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
- Ah, I see. Sorry for the inconvenience, have a nice day! NotAGenious (talk) 17:05, 29 September 2023 (UTC)

What do you think?
The first time they caught my eye was when they used the edit summary "I agree with the addition"[1] Austronesier (talk) 17:32, 13 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Austronesier: thanks. This is very interesting as the chances of two unrelated editors being interested in those random articles are very slim. Best, M.Bitton (talk) 17:39, 13 October 2023 (UTC)
- They're blocked. Thanks for taking quick action. –Austronesier (talk) 18:50, 13 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Austronesier: it wouldn't have been possible without your support. Thanks again. Best, M.Bitton (talk) 19:32, 13 October 2023 (UTC)

Hello, can you please explain why you think the source I used is unreliable? (you cancelled the last change) Kolya Muratov (talk) 07:51, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
- It was reverted because the added content didn't make sense (in that it contradicts what we already know). That could be for one of two reasons (that I mentioned in the edit summary): either the Turkish source is unreliable or it doesn't support what you added. If after reviewing the source you still believe that the content belongs there, then I suggest you start a discussion about it on the article's talk page so that others can weigh in. M.Bitton (talk) 23:52, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
Reverts
I could not help but notice that you're currently and massively reverting my removals of unreliable sources, this time unrelated to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and without explanation. I kindly ask you to stop and to provide a reason for this. Best regards, NoonIcarus (talk) 23:59, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
- I have already provided the reason and explained to you that WP:RSN is where the community decides whether a source should be blacklisted or not. M.Bitton (talk) 00:01, 15 October 2023 (UTC)
- You're not addressing my concerns that the source is unreliable. Have you taken a look at the discussion mentioned in the edit summaries? --NoonIcarus (talk) 00:04, 15 October 2023 (UTC)
