Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for testing your editing skills at the Wikipedia Sandbox - it is important for new users to learn how to use Wikipedia and its functions; however when editing their please do not remove the Sandbox header because this is vital in letting other users aware that they can freely edit the page and they are at the right place for their editing tests too. Thank you for you understanding and I hope you enjoy contributing constructively to Wikipedia.Tellyaddict 17:27, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

Question: What does "salted" mean in WP:RPP?
Answer: 'Salting' means deleting something, and preventing it from being recreated by anybody except administrators by protecting it. For more information see WP:SALT. – Riana ঋ 05:20, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
Helpme 3
What is "cascade" protection?
- If cascading protection is enabled for a protected page, ever template transcluded in the page is also protected, ad infinitum. For example, the Main Page has cascading protection enabled, and each of the parts of the Main Page, i.e. "Featured articles", "In the news", etc. are templates transcluded in the Main Page, so they are also protected by the cascading protection. —Centrx→talk • 01:23, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

{helpme|I kept getting the message on my watchlist. Saying, "A discussion regarding merging Wikipedia:Verifiability, Wikipedia:No original research, and Wikipedia:Reliable sources into a single page at Wikipedia:Attribution is in progress." Can you help me discuss about that message?}
- Everyone is getting that message on their Watchlist. The word "discussion" is linked to Wikipedia talk:Attribution/Community discussion - you can discuss there if you like. Template:Unsigned8

Apartment
Regarding your recent edit to Apartment, do you think it might be better to add the disambiguation page? I think the previous editors attempt at clarity was well meaning. --Jrsnbarn 02:23, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
Well actually, I'm not sure if I can create that disambiguation page for that. I probably don't know the names of them. Please go to my user talk page to reply there if you have any questions regarding that quote. 'Cuz I'm also not sure if I have done any vandalism there. Best Regards. LegoAxiom1007 03:07, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
At the top of your talk page (above) you ask that other users "Please continue any conversation where it was started." Could you please do the same. Thanks. I will add a disambiguation note at the top of Apartment.--Jrsnbarn 15:04, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
Requests for protection
Why do you keep requesting protection for templates just created? When a template is new and rarely used, it is not a high risk template. -Amarkov moo! 05:11, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
Please don't make requests for protection for templates you have just made, and aren't being used anywhere. We do not protect templates unless they are very high risk (i.e. used on many hundreds of pages), and we certainly don't block templates that one user has just made. – Riana ঋ 05:19, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
Requests for protection, again
If only one person is vandalizing a page, then the right thing to do is warn them with user warning templates, and then request blocking at WP:AIV if they continue. Protecting the page for one editor would unfairly shut out a lot of good edits. -Amarkov moo! 21:22, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

Reporting usernames on VIP (old name for WP:AIV)
Do us a favor and check to see if they have already been blocked first. The last two you reported were blocked months ago. Theresa Knott | Taste the Korn 16:45, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- Please stop. You are reporting names that are already blocked. If you continue we're going to think you're a bot. Nardman1 16:48, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- Now you're reporting people whose vandalism occurred in 2005 and who don't have any talk page warnings. This is getting ridiculous. Nardman1 16:54, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
Username complaint
I moved your username complaint on User:I-am-ben-12346 to WP:RFCN. You might want to elaborate on the problem with the name there. Cheers! --Ginkgo100talk 17:13, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
Usernames at AIV
Please don't use automatic rollback scripts on my edits, as you did here. Save that for the vandals, please. And please don't list what are far from clear-cut username "violations" at AIV: the correct place for those is WP:RFCN. Moreover, when a user in good standing removes the username from AIV as not clear-cut, that is a very clear sign that RFCN is the more appropriate venue. So don't revert in the first place, and not automatically. Moreschi Request a recording? 17:18, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- Do not remove the opinions of others in [1] manner. Do that again and you will be blocked. Quit trolling. Moreschi Request a recording? 17:57, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- Then stop making highly dubious reverts in an inappropriate manner. Furthermore, this page flashing is highly distracting and annoying. Moreschi Request a recording? 18:17, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Blocked
You have been blocked for 31 hours for abusing WP:TW. Please save it for obvious vandalism only. Continued abuse of rollback scripts could lead to a longer, or possibly indefinite, block. --Wafulz 18:44, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Test
I did not test on that image, or any. Look back at the history. I was making an edit summary test on the sandbox, and the enter button caused me to save changes instead of showing the preview.--Wikipedier (talk • contribs) 04:01, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
I've undone your move of this article. We name things based on what they are, not who makes them. --Wafulz 04:10, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
Page protection
Pages are only protected under certain circumstances. In the event of frequent, persistent vandalism, pages are semi-protected so only registered users can edit them. In the event of a massive content dispute or office actions, pages are protected so only administrators can edit them. Please don't list pages for protection that don't meet these circumstances. --Wafulz 04:14, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
I recommend you stop using TWINKLE for a while
You seem to be having problems with using it correctly. Until you've gotten enough experience not to do things like your recent requests for protection, or warning people for months-old vandalism, I think you should force yourself to do things manually. -Amarkov moo! 04:53, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
- I agree. TWINKLE is a powerful tool, and shouldn't really be used by new users, or until you've got a really good grasp of policies like WP:PPOL and WP:VAND. I recommend you start with manually patrolling Special:Recentchanges, use warning templates from WP:TT and don't ask for protection unless the page is very highly vandalised, or very likely to pose a significant threat if unprotected. – Riana talk 05:09, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

Re:Policy Question
Policy states that WP is not a web host. I wanted to know how long one must be registered and not contributing for his user page to be deleted.--Orthologist 15:53, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
