I'm semi-retired now so if you leave a message here it may take me a while to get back to you. If you're here about an article you know I'm editing, it's probably better to post on the article's talk page instead. Be nice, if at all possible...

You’ve just received a random act of kindness! 66.87.2.110 (talk) 18:23, 5 April 2012 (UTC) |
- A random act of kindness -- how wonderful! Certainly did brighten up my day. Many thanks and happy editing! Johnfos (talk) 21:13, 5 April 2012 (UTC)
Hi Johnfos. I know of your interest in the Australian anti-nuclear movement, and we have cooresponded occasionally in the past on articles along these lines. I have placed an article of relevance, Muckaty Station, as a Featured Article Candidate. Review page is here: Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Muckaty Station/archive1. I would welcome comments and criticisms of the article. Cheers, hamiltonstone (talk) 04:23, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, I saw this go to FAC, and wish you well. Expect I will add a supportive comment in due course. Cheers, Johnfos (talk) 21:49, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
Please take a look at proposed image change. Delphi234 (talk) 07:01, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
Talk:List of geoengineering papers
Hi John. I'm not sure how kosher it would be but how about redirecting Talk:List of geoengineering papers (part 2) to Talk:List of geoengineering papers (part 1). This would prevent parallel discussions on one topic. Cheers, Pichpich (talk) 22:20, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
- On second thought, I've just redirected the page. Feel free to revert if you think it's a bad idea. Cheers, Pichpich (talk) 22:21, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
- Hi Pich, I thought it might be useful to centralise discussion of these lists at Talk:Outline of geoengineering#Geoengineering lists. Contributions welcome there. cheers, Johnfos (talk) 22:48, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
Please justify on the talk page of either of these articles why Ernest Becker or Denial of Death belong in the "Anti-Psychiatry" Cat before re-adding. Thank you. --TimL (talk) 04:25, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
- I've added some content to the Becker page that I think helps. Both Becker and his mentor Thomas Szasz were part of the anti-psychiatry movement. Szasz is mentioned multiple times in Denial of Death. Johnfos (talk) 22:24, 15 August 2012 (UTC)

Hello. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/IncidentArchive765#Canvassing regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.
Disruption
Hello,
You reverted most of my changes and then claimed I was being disruptive.
Please justify the undo on "Martin County sludge spill". The article has no sources, clearly my edit was justified.
Please justify the undo on "ilovemountains.org". The Notability is a question, there are issues with the sources, and it is self-promotion/link farm.
Before we get into an escalated back and fourth, I am asking that you do not wholesale undo everything I do and then claim I am being disruptive.
