You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on :Scotland at the FIFA World Cup; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement. |
|||
Points to note: |
|||
# Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; |
|||
# Do not edit war even if you believe you are right. |
|||
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.<!-- Template:uw-ew --> funplussmart (talk) 14:37, 1 March 2019 (UTC) |

Thank you + invitation

Junior club names
Think you've been a bit hasty in changing some clubs team names, especially Camelon and Tranent, as the "Juniors" is part of their name. In the case of Camelon they have said they will not be removing it from their name: https://twitter.com/Camelonjuniors/status/1002287794667081728 and https://twitter.com/Camelonjuniors/status/981437364684906496
Tranent are listed as Tranent Juniors in all of the EoS cup draws so presumably they are keeping that name.
Your GA nomination of Hibernian F.C. in European football
The article Hibernian F.C. in European football you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Hibernian F.C. in European football for comments about the article. Well done! Sources
Please include sources when making edits! I've added one at Greg Kiltie for you... GiantSnowman 20:40, 30 January 2019 (UTC)
- Yep, agree it can be difficult sourcing for some of lower league players/clubs. But if it's confirmed by SW/SB, then that can be used as an in-line cite for the move. GiantSnowman 13:29, 4 February 2019 (UTC)
aren't Rangers now defunct? I.E. went bust in 2012? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Densparker (talk • contribs) 03:14, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
