You reverted simple edits to station pages that were added by an anonymous IP editor. Please remember that we are here to improve the content, not just watch for vandalism. The anonymous editor simply adding the phrase "express station", is not vandalism. I don't consider any of those edits problematic and am disappointed that you reverted them. Acps110 (talk) 01:33, 18 October 2009 (UTC) |

I would like you to add a comment at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject New York City Public Transportation#Punctuation for specific stations. Adding the spaces around the slash "/" should not be controversial, especially when we agreed to follow the spacing of en dashes "–". I do not want to move pages only to have you revert them without a good reason or any reason before discussing it. |

Moving pages is more annoying than it seems. You should fix the double redirects that result for the courtesy of other people. And in the case of en dashes, redirects with hyphens need to be created. See a sample of my contributions as to what I do. Please take this into consideration. I put a lot of thought before I decide a page title should be moved. Tinlinkin (talk) 10:44, 23 October 2009 (UTC) |

bRd: Most Interested Person
Hello. I have identified you as a "Most Interested Person" within the context of the WP:BRD process. The MIP identification arises from this edit that I entered to the Barack Obama article on Friday, and subsequent edits (in which you participated) that resulted in the restoration of the Barack Obama#Cultural and political image section I'd boldly removed. This places you and me at the middle of the BRD flow chart pictured here. See also this discussion I recently concluded with another editor who participated in Friday's edits to the article. I would welcome the chance to discuss your revert and to seek a mutually agreeable compromise solution. --HailFire (talk) 23:03, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
Your input requested
Hi. A proposal on the re-creation of WP:RUSSIA is currently underway at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Russia/Proposal. One of the main points is that we should have workgroups covering different topics. We are trying to ascertain the interest of editors in various workgroups under WP:RUSSIA, such as history, politics, biographical, etc; as your userpage indicates you are Russian or live in Russia, perhaps you can take a read of the proposal, comment on it wherever you have thoughts, and perhaps provide details of any Russian topics you may be interested and are willing to collaborate with other editors on? Your input is valued. Cheers. --Russavia Dialogue Stalk me 20:32, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
coord missing in airport articles
You seem to have removed the coord missing tag from numerous articles about airports that do not yet have geographic coordinates. Unfortunately, doing this removes them from the hidden categories which exist to help other editors add geocodes to articles. Could you please stop removing these tags, and restore those you have already deleted? -- 80.168.224.204 (talk) 00:02, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Station page moves
I see that you're following my lead in moving station pages. For the moment, I ask that you not move the page Jamaica Center–Parsons/Archer (New York City Subway). I am unsure if the page should be named Jamaica Center – Parsons/Archer (New York City Subway) or Jamaica Center – Parsons / Archer (New York City Subway). I think there is also another case like that, I don't remember at the moment. I also take special care in fixing the double redirects and creating any new redirects as required. In other words, my method is not simply clicking the "move page" button. So you may continue, but I will be watching closely. Tinlinkin (talk) 08:16, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, well. If anyone objects to that, we'll know about it, I guess. Tinlinkin (talk) 08:28, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
RE: B (New York City Subway service)—Is it fixed? Now, why did you revert Fulton Street / Broadway – Nassau Street (New York City Subway)? See WP:SLASH. The slash requires it to be spaced because the items "Fulton Street" and "Broadway" are separate. "Street/Broadway" is incorrect. Tinlinkin (talk) 08:55, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry, I did not understand your last remark about the slash for "Fulton Street" and "Broadway". The NYCPT WikiProject agreement about naming conventions for numbers is that numbers lower than 10 are spelled out. If you disagree, you should raise the issue with the project. Hatnotes & Bus Connections
Please be careful to not accidentally delete hatnotes on station pages that have ambiguous names. They are there to help people who have less knowledge than you or I, figure out which station they are looking at. DeKalb Ave, Beverley Road, Kings Highway are all ambiguous. Also, with the Bus connections, MTA Bus and New York City Bus are not the same thing. MTA Bus was formed to take over multiple private operators beginning in 2004. Please revert your changes that confuse the two. Acps110 (talk) 09:01, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
Newcomer to NYCS project
Please do not assume ownership of articles. If you aren't willing to allow your contributions to be edited extensively or be redistributed by others, please do not submit them. Thank you.
also,
Please do not bite the newcomers.
