Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would ask that you assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not on Talk:The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Your recent rants at the above mentioned talk page are not constructive and are not helpful to further developing the associated article. Please avoid attacking editors and employ the Wikipedia standard rule of assuming good faith. -- Winkelvi ● ✉ ✓ 15:09, 15 June 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you recently removed all content from TVRage, with this edit without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the page's content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 01:08, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
- This was not necessary. The article redirected to an unrelated article. And I was in the middle of typing a deletion request during your clueless revert. In Correct (talk) 01:24, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
TVRage.com
What is the problem with TVRage.com being used as a reference? Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 02:55, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
Please, read the history from the two links. MediaWiki_talk:Spam-whitelist/Archives/2009/11#TVRage.Com and [[1]] I support the blacklist decision. Or has this been reversed which I am unaware of? In Correct (talk) 03:22, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
- I didn't realize tvrage.com had been blacklisted. May I suggest mentioning this in your edit summary? "rm blacklisted tvrage.com" or something like that. I was thinking your removals were a "don't like". Thanks for hacking out those tvrage.com refs. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 07:57, 30 August 2014 (UTC)

Image tagging for File:TAOLTPFO.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:TAOLTPFO.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from or who created it. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.
To add this information, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Orphaned non-free image File:TAOLTPFO.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:TAOLTPFO.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:40, 29 July 2015 (UTC)
Do you know what a sockpuppet is?
Regarding the edit at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, I will be happy to discuss the merits of leaving content about sidewalk cracks on the article talk page. However, you have twice referred to me as a sockpuppet. I suggest you read Wikipedia:Sock puppetry before you accuse me of that. To paraphrase The Princess Bride, I don't think that word means what you think it means. Bahooka (talk) 03:47, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
August 2015
Your recent editing history at Southeastern Oklahoma State University shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Disambiguation hatnotes
Hello. Disambiguation hatnotes at the top of articles are there to resolve ambiguity between very similar names or concepts. Per WP:NAMB, if there's no ambiguity, we don't need a hatnote - if the user has arrived at the Marvin the Martian article, its title alone clarifies that the article isn't about the comic-strip human baby (who isn't a Martian), nor to a less obvious extent is it about the Sirius Cybernetics robot (who isn't from Mars).
The hatnote you've added to Marvin (character) is correct, and appreciated, because a reader who's arrived at that article (or is deciding whether to click the link from another page or a Google search result) will not - from its title alone - know whether it refers to the baby, the android or the Martian, and might be in the wrong place. But Marvin the Martian is, I think, unambiguous.
What user navigation situation are you trying to fix here? --McGeddon (talk) 15:25, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
- I am trying to fix the navigation situation with any major character named Marvin. I for some reason remembered the newspaper comic (and starring character) Marvin. I wanted to read the Wiki article about Marvin (Tom Armstrong's character) however I landed on a page about a robot named Marvin. ?! I believe Marvin's (robot) full name (or title) is Marvin, The Paranoid Android. Or perhaps that is the name of the book or TV series the character is based on. I wouldn't know. I have never heard of Marvin (the robot). I am aware that Looney Tunes character is supposed to be named "Marvin the Martian" although I have never heard him referred to as such. It makes much more sense to add the Disambiguation Hatnotes to the relevant pages. And even Martian The Martian's full title reveals him to be a space alien or a Martian, However Marvin Miller's name wouldn't necessarily describe if Marvin Miller is a human or Martian. I guess I still do not understand. ALSO typing Marvin did not lead to a disambiguation page. It SHOULD, as I am completely unfamiliar with Marvin The Paranoid Android. I will paste this onto the talk page. In Correct (talk) 15:38, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Thank you for your many contributions to Wikipedia, including the article Navel in popular culture. I recently painstakingly edited this article, enhancing numerous bare URL references, and other references lacking full parameters, with full parameters. For books, that includes author, title, publisher, year, page numbers, and ISBN. For newspapers, that includes author, article title, newspaper, and date. After my edit, you followed up with additional valuable contributions, but entered bare URL references at 12:58, 10 December 2015 and 16:30, 10 December 2015. I strongly encourage you to include the reference information according to the guidelines at Wikipedia:CITEHOW. Cheers! —Anomalocaris (talk) 18:55, 10 December 2015 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:MEALSONWEALSDENTON.PNG
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:MEALSONWEALSDENTON.PNG. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page.
