Sorry for the undescriptive subject. :) As said above, the Arbitration case against Leyasu has already started. I was wondering, how did you and [[User:Danteferno|Danteferno]] determine that Leyasu was using sock puppets back in November? As it seems you weren't an admin at the time, and WP:RFCU didn't exist (I'm not sure though, so feel free correct me on that), and I couldn't find any relevant edits on your side asking for a check (yet to go through Danteferno's), so could you provide any links that prove it? I could ask for a check right now, but IPs unfortunately tend to change at times. I will though, if necessary. Thanks. -- [[User:Parasti|parasti]] ([[User talk:Parasti|talk]]) 20:08, 26 January 2006 (UTC) |

: Thanks for the reply. I took the time to check every IP that edited the gothic metal talk page at the time (if that's the page you're referring to); comments signed with "Porkchop" and later "Metal Mayhem Rulz" were all made from [[Special:Contributions/24.76.91.20|24.76.91.20]], none of them were, however, signed with "Leyasu". There was an ambiguous [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Gothic_metal&diff=next&oldid=27314983 edit by Leyasu] (see the edit summary and the previous edit), that could have led to believe there was sock puppetry involved. |
|||
: Danteferno had also mentioned [[Special:Contributions/Flagrancy|Flagrancy]] and [[Special:Contributions/Clontarf-the-mad|Clontarf-the-mad]] as some of Leyasu's sock puppets; as it seems there were no anonymous edits signed with these names, so other than the edit count of these users there seems to be nothing to prove it. Funny enough, Flagrancy used the uncommon <code><p></code> tag to start the [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Gothic_metal&diff=prev&oldid=27422061 comment], which both Danteferno and Leyasu used at the time [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Gothic_metal&diff=prev&oldid=27410176] [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Gothic_metal&diff=prev&oldid=27420372], and also signed it using <code><nowiki>--~~~~</nowiki></code>, which, by the way, is the way Danteferno signed his comments on the talk page. Well, it's not far from Danteferno and Leyasu being the same person, isn't it? |
|||
: Other than that it seems to be nothing more than a misunderstanding. |
|||
: To be honest, I'm not sure why am I part of this case, as it is now renamed to "Leyasu", and I have had no conflicts with the user in question. Other than providing evidence against the evidence of other people, there is nothing I could add to it. And this lack of dislike for Leyasu also seems to be the reason for some of the disagreements between Danteferno and myself, unfortunately. |
|||
: Well, I'll await your evidence, as I could have missed something important. Apologies for a-bit-too-long a reply. -- [[User:Parasti|parasti]] ([[User talk:Parasti|talk]]) 02:30, 28 January 2006 (UTC) |

Personal attacks at Talk:Asian fetish
I find your comments to me interesting... Now where do I call Blackcats I kike. I said that by principle if he is so "un-PC" and wishes to not be a total bigot that there should be no restraint to the use of vocab. I repeat I NEVER have said that on wikipedia. Whatever I do or say otuside of here is of no concern to you. I find it funny that you defend him so much and try to get me for anything you can. This is the 2nd baseless claim you've made on me. If I didn't know better your trying to silence me. Just in case you have difficulties reading, I invite you to quote the line wehre I explicitly call him anything other then a bigot... whichi s what he is. Further HE HAS called me a bigot as well... so why don't you send your little love letters to him as well?
Also, by "attacking," his obviouslly Asiaphille friend, I do not attack him. In fact, it cannot be construded as a personal attack since its not to his person. Another example of you trying to get me for something that I obviouslly am not guilty off. I will make my statements clearer after this week, but I deleted my "arguments" on this talk page because I'm rather busy and don't have the time to properly res pond... It was HE who brought those deleted statements back and you try to blame me ? If you want to get rid of me go ahead but it'll just alert many others to what sort of hipocarciy and whitewash bias that is going on here.
By the way, isn't it curious that all the people on the "right" on this discussion happen to all be white? White = Right .. right? SillyAlgebraist 05:48, 7 December 2005 (UTC)

Dear Idont havaname,
I would like to thank you for supporting me on my RfA. Even though it failed with a with the final tally of 55/22/6, I want to thank you anyways. I don't want to be one a admin anymore until I reach 10,000 edits now that it's over with. Thanks --Jaranda wat's sup 02:17, 9 December 2005 (UTC)Image referencing tags

Help!
There is an unregistered user who is constantly vandalizing the Evansville, Indiana page to include a vanity link to his website. The user in question is Evansvilleboneyard and the website in question is Evansville Boneyard. Despite consistent removal by a number of contirbutors, he/she continues to add it back to the Evansville page with such things as "widely read", etc. There is absolutely no evidence to suggest it is encyclopedia worthy and the user should be warned and/or banned. We could really use your help in removing these pointless links and keeping this guy from adding them back.--YHoshua 03:34, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
- Just to be clear, I didn't say a consensus had been reached. I told him to move it on the talk page until one had been reached. However it is worth noting that he was the only one adding the link and numerous people had been removing it. Also worth noting is that he has not made other contributions. The only contributions he has made, and made repeatedly, are links to his own site. That his username is the name of the site reinforces the notion that his sole purpose is to advocate his site. Finally, he blatantly lied in saying that another user had submitted a link to the "boneyard" article on the zoo. It was he that submitted it. This is a vanity site and a user hell bent on getting his low-read site some coverage.--YHoshua 22:53, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
- I take offense that you say I deliberately lied about the zoo article. Someone else originally posted it and I modified to give credit. Let's not start petty personal attacks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Evansvilleboneyard (talk • contribs)
- p.s. - The article you reference was a history and pictorial on the history of the zoo and was a project of both the Mesker Zoo and the Boneyard and was completely appropiate but some little person deleted it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Evansvilleboneyard (talk • contribs)
This place sure gets one down
Hi, probably don't remember me, I was the user you welcomed - thanks again for that. Lately I've been feeling frusterated with the overall atmosphere on this project-site. In any case, I think I'm going to throw the towel in soon. Just wanted to leave you a message here before I left reminding myself to thank you for being the first person to welcome me on board here. I've tried my best but I guess you need to really be one dedicated MOFO for this place, which is clearly not what I am. Anyway take it easy, and hope your future here shines on. hi, there is an organized campaign to save the above self-promotional vanity games-club page from deletion.... i'm wondering if you'd be willing to take a look and voice your opinion? normally i wouldnt care but (a) i hate organized campaigns from groups of users (especially when they have vested interests but dont declare them) and (b) when challenged about it, they suggested i try it myself! so here i am.... cheers! Hi Mr. havaname ;-)
I just wanted to thank you for supporting me in my RfA. To tell you the truth, I was surprised by all the support I've gotten. I never saw myself as more than an occasional Wiki-hobbyist.
My wife sends her curses, as Wikipedia will likely suck up more of my time. She jokingly (I think) said she was tempted to log on to Wikipedia just to vote Oppose and let everyone know that she didn't want her husband to be an admin.
I'll make sure your trust in me is founded. Enjoy your holidays! --Deathphoenix 14:36, 28 December 2005 (UTC)

Baseball on Wikicities
Hi Idon'thaveaname, Googie Man here - I wanted to ask you something as a fellow baseball fan and Wikipedia. Jimbo and Angela have made a new webstie called Wikicities. This link in particular will take you to the baseball Wikicity. As you'll see it's similar to Wikipedia, but my hope is this will allow baseball fans to do more and different things, like reporting on games, in depth statistics, create mulitple pages for pictures, and whatever else baseball fans care to create. You've done such great work on Wikipedia I was hoping you could help get this baseball Wikicity off the ground. Please let me know what you think either at my talk page, or you can email me at terry@wikia.com. Thanks! Googie Man(Talk), 19:45, 4 January 2006.
Your RfA
I have just removed most of them, though I really don't see why this should have any bearing on whether or not I would be good at doing admin tasks.
Thanks for removing, in the unlikely case your RfA becomes tight, I'll withdraw my oppose. And yes, why this should have bearing.
I've got somewhat alarmed by discussions on wikiEN-l and felt obligued to visit RfA, because of the arguments:
- Userboxes are a sign of treating Wikipedia as a social experiment, not as a project to write an encyclopedia.
- Userboxes can be used as a measure to organize factions and block voting
- Adminship may be a big deal today, contrary to previous POV, and more caution in granting adminship should used.
Pjacobi 12:14, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
- You are still abusing the RfA votes, simply ask rather rejecting a legitimate editor's chance to become an admin. I refuse to support these comments. εγκυκλοπαίδεια* 20:53, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
Re:My RfA / Pjacobi
Actually, he's already an administrator, and he placed the same vote (verbatim) on several other RfAs recently. The whole userboxes controversy has gotten very out of hand, to say the least. Also, thanks a bunch for answering those oppose votes for me; your help is much appreciated. (I'll send the usual thank-you messages too, barring any last-minute wave of oppose votes, but I thought I'd stop by and give you extra thanks for helping me out.) --Idont Havaname 06:46, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you, any time I feel that there is an injustice, I feel the need to speak out on the behalf of those being discriminated against. I feel that you have shown a very astute level of compotency as an editor, and that you do deserve to win an RFA, which you are doing; but I feel that childish votes about user boxes and making a parody of your user name is absolutely crazy. Please continue to work here and be a friend, despite the having to deal with such things. If Pjacobi continues to act the way in which he does, I'm sure someone will file an RfC or RfAr on him - either of which I will support.
Thanks again, εγκυκλοπαίδεια* 20:53, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
Congratulations!
Congratulations! It's my pleasure to let you know that, consensus being reached, you are now an administrator. You should read the relevant policies and other pages linked to from the administrators' reading list before carrying out tasks like deletion, protection, banning users, and editing protected pages such as the Main Page. Most of what you do is easily reversible by other sysops, apart from page history merges and image deletion, so please be especially careful with those. You might find the new administrators' how-to guide helpful. Cheers! -- Cecropia 08:30, 6 January 2006 (UTC)

Hi, this is Werdna648. I supported you in your recent RfA, and you welcomed me to Wikipedia! I have Adminship in mind for a later date, although I do realise that this is a long way away for me. Leyasu
My dispute with him was at Talk:Grunge music, not gothic metal. I would like to point out a few things to you in case they will help you with dealing with this user.
Leyasu constantly makes personal attacks against other editors and refuses to admit it. His favorite one (as already mentioned) is "megalomaniacal" and variants of it (including "MPOV"). He claims that this is a kind gesture, not an insult. Despite this, two admins yelled at him for attacking me with it, and one of them gave him a temporary ban for continuing to do it after being warned not to.
What's worse, he will claim an article is POV to force his POV into it. He'll do this whether there are references cited or not, and will not cite his own references. When asked to give references that back his statements, he googles for the article's title and gives links to the first 4 or 5 results. He obviously doesn't read them first, because some of his "references" are mirrors of the article. In fact, this method of his proves that he doesn't even understand the concept of academic honesty.
He's a difficult person to deal with, and if anyone should be on trial it's him. Hopefully this arbitration will at least convince him stop violating Wikipedia's official policies over and over again. -- LGagnon 02:04, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
- yeah, i've already had several run ins with him as well. I agree he tends to push the POV thing when it's obvious it's not his POV. --Adrift* 06:25, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
