== 3RR on Sophia Mirza == |

Guido, your last revert on Sophia Mirza has pushed you past the 3RR limit. Please refrain from edit-warring. Furthermore, you are even adding "dubious" tags to quotations in references, which is obviously not done. A quote is a quote, you disagreeing with it doesn't make (part of) the quote dubious, and should certainly not be adressed inside the quote. :Thanks for the warning, Fram, but I don't think you have counted correctly. I believe I have exercised due contraint by only reverting the dubious edit once and the tag removal once. That makes a full total of two reverts with is the maximum I can reach harmoniously. The tag re-entry was the outcome of the 3RR report on WLU (7 reverts) and can therefore not be counted. |
|||
:What you call quotations are in fact not literal quotations. Check the source and you will see the difference. Guido den Broeder (talk, visit) 08:33, 16 September 2008 (UTC) |

::You did 3 reverts and one addition, so you are not past the limit but at it. The tag re-entry is a revert, the 3RR report concluded with "no action taken" and WLU reinserted the top tag, as he had suggested. Your revert to your preferred tag version is a revert, plain and simple. The Harmnoious editing club actually states "Members should allow themselves only one revert, rather than three, during a content dispute". The club is not binding, obviously, but please don't suggest that even 2 reverts is in line with "harmonious editing". And can you tell what the difference is between and the actual quote from the source? Fram (talk) 09:18, 16 September 2008 (UTC) |

:::Discuss that on the talk page of the article, please. |
|||
:::Meanwhile, thank you for admitting that your count was wrong. Next time, do not put it in the edit summary, where it can't be corrected. Guido den Broeder (talk, visit) 09:27, 16 September 2008 (UTC) |

::::Funny, isn't it, how my errors can be corrected here, but other ones (i.e., yours) should go elsewhere? You made a claim here, I showed you that it was incorrect. As for the edit summary, it read "RR on Sophia Mirza: new section". It is customary to give editors a warning when they are at (or beyond) 3RR, so that they are aware that they should stop edit warring. I have corrected my count from 4RR to 3RR, which is in line with the edit summary. Even if I could, it doesn't need to be corrected. Thank you for making a report about RetroS1mone (talk · contribs · block log) on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, it appears that the editor you reported may not have engaged in vandalism, or the user was not sufficiently or appropriately warned. Please note there is a difference between vandalism and unhelpful or misguided edits made in good faith. If they continue to vandalise after a recent final warning, please re-report it. Thank you!
