It was a mistake. Mistakes aren't bad faith. Go read WP:AGF. —Bunchofgrapes (talk) 22:43, 23 December 2005 (UTC) |
Revision as of 22:43, 23 December 2005
- DO NOT THANK ME for an RFA I voted on
- DO NOT ENGAGE IN THE FOLLOWING...
- cruel and unusual punishment
- involvement in private conversations - dont jump in if you aren't involved in the article or topic in question, start a new section
- personal attacks towards any user
- stupid/moronic comments
If you violate the above stipulations I shall mock you/dishonor your familial dynasty with the test1 template. Further violations shall result in the posting of the test2, test3, and test4 templates. This is sooo not a joke.
Your request Re:RfC
The RfC is a bit disorganized as to what exactly it's about. My intention was to claim that I had tried to explain to you how your block of Stephenj was incorrect, and how you misunderstood your powers/responsibilities as an admin, and you had ignored me. I admit it was a judgement call, where exactly to sign my name, but I also think it doesn't matter much.
As I'm sure you know, an RfC isn't a trial or a collection of people out to get you. Rather than worrying about procedural issues, you might do better to treat what you can as constructive criticism. It can't do anything other than that anyway. -- SCZenz 05:09, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
Request for arbitration
I've filed a request for arbitration regarding your actions here: Wikipedia:Requests_for_arbitration#Freestylefrappe. -- SCZenz 17:37, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing that out; I think it's fixed now. You might want to notify the extra people who you named as parties in the case; I can't see who else's responsibility it might be. -- SCZenz 18:36, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads-up. Flcelloguy (A note?) 20:54, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
- Hi there. Thanks for the notification, but it seems I'm not listed on the RFA page as an involved party yet. So I thought I should wait until someone added me before making a statement. Thanks - Akamad Merry Christmas to all! 21:49, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

I was trying to figure out how you know me. I realize now that you're upset I voted against LifeisUnfair because you nominated him. Just so you know, there is already an RFA(rbitration) against me, partly for my voting style, though it is not listed. Please provide diffs for any RFA(dminship) you have a query regarding and I will explain my reasoning. Please also be aware that many users vote controversially->Boothy, Zordrac, etc., but have not been disiplined because it does not break any policies. freestylefrappe 19:33, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
- I asked you to clarify the reasoning behind your vote against me, and you didn't reply. If you don't mind, I would sincerely appreciate an explanation. Thank you. —Lifeisunfair 19:42, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
- Oh, now I get it. After seeing what you wrote on Lifeisunfair's userpage... well, now I actually get it. I even get why you would choose to vote against someone like that. I disagree with your vote (obviously), but it's totally your prerogative. I do wish, however, that you would recognize when your votes (and more specifically, your given reasons) might give the impression that you're trolling, and that you would give more detailed reasons for the votes (similar to what you ended up putting on Lifeisunfair's talk page), in order that we might avoid situations like this. Thanks! Matt Yeager 20:09, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
- Thank you for your reply. I've requested that my username be changed to my real first and last name. —Lifeisunfair 20:29, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
