:Your comment here is neither rude or badgering. You are correct, your name is not familiar to me, which has nothing to do with my NOTNOW at your RfA. My standing on my !vote is solely due to 3+k edits in five years, I can't help but to think low edit count and low activity levels, which is why I choose NOTNOW. I would however like to commend you on your nomination statement, refreshing to see such individualism and a rebel flare to it. I also commend you keeping your RfA live and taking it all in as a learning and where you stand experience. I do hope to see another stand after the proper length of time. I do thank you for your support at my stand and hope to have the chance to return the support. Cheers. ::Ahaha thanks. My favourite part of your response = "rebel flare". It reminds me of a song by a very famous music artist; it also conjures up images of a rock musician with a mohawk hair style (which I've never cared for, personally). |

::I'm actually very surprised at how pleasant my RfA has been. It's interesting too because I'm basically failing it, and yet I really do enjoy getting the opportunity to hear from the community and to interact with them on how to better myself in my endeavours on this site (as well as getting a feel for some of the people on this site, who may or may not have known of me beforehand). I still do want to become an administrator someday — I've thought about it and I now feel much more confident that I could handle the role diligently if it were entrusted to me. I had a feeling it wouldn't succeed if I were to submit it around this time, but I'm glad I at least took a chance and faced down my fears of the process, which really turned out much better than I thought it would. |

::It's been great talking to you. Take care, and I hope your RfA is successful. =) <span style="color:Blue">Master&</span><span style="color:#00FFFF">Expert</span> (<span style="color:purple">Talk</span>) 10:42, 5 August 2012 (UTC) |

Good luck, and a minor suggestionHi Mlpearc, I was very happy to finally get the chance to put my support down on your RFA. Let's hope it is a positive and straightforward experience for you. On a separate note, when I came here to leave this message, the formatting for the part of this page that I'm currently typing on seems to be wonky - I'm using a "big screen" computer right now, and I still had to scroll across to find the right border. Heaven only knows what it would look like on the smaller screens I usually work with. Perhaps some fine tuning is in order? Risker (talk) 23:41, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
Re. My RfAThank you for your participation at my RfA. I appreciate your sentiments. Just as a side note, though — and I'm sorry if I come across as rude for posting here. I'm not sure if you've ever seen me around, but I've been editing Wikipedia now for over five years (more than 80% of that time under this account), I've amassed over 3400 edits (meager by comparison to most administrator candidates), and I'm very familiar with what an administrator does. I've also participated in numerous RfAs before (including your current RfA, where I have voiced support for your acquiring adminship). I'm not sure if you thought I was a newcomer to Wikipedia or that I have very little clue as to what adminship entails, but it seems as if that's the impression you'd gotten from reading through my RfA. I don't mean to badger you, but I just wanted to clear things up in case you were unfamiliar with me prior. In any case, I appreciate your interest in my candidacy, and good luck with yours. =) Master&Expert (Talk) 06:26, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
