Hi, I'm Donald W. Gillies, son of Donald B. Gillies. We are not going to be able to get a source for my dad's stuttering, other than myself or my sister, Anne Gillies. There is nothing published. But I do not think it's right to hide the fact that he was challenged by this partial handicap and struggled with it. The whole reason we wrote the article was to give a realistic picture of career and his struggles. I would appreciate it if you would not be a hardass and would not revert the change when i reapply it in a moment. [[User:SystemBuilder|SystemBuilder]] ([[User talk:SystemBuilder|talk]]) |

Editing and sources discussion
Hello! I was the anonymous user who’s edit you deleted from the wiki page for the musician, Kennedy. At the time of editing, I was not aware that I was not logged in, that must have been a mistake. Anyways, I got all of my information for his discography from his ITunes page, which I am unsure how to cite. If you could restore my edits, and give it a proper citation, it would be much appreciated. Also, the source for his reason for being kicked out of Silversun Pickups was from an interview the bands singer did years ago, which I cannot find. The only record of this information is from a fan site for the band, the owner of which I am in contact with and provided the original, now lost, sources. The reason I left my edit without citation, is I was going to look for my sources. I did not expect such a quick removal, especially on such an obscure Wikipedia page. I hope you can understand that this was merely a misunderstanding, and from what I can gather, my information was 100% accurate. Manmanboyboyman man (talk) 19:46, 10 November 2020 (UTC)
- Hello Manmanboyboyman man and thanks for reaching out to me. You could have cited the iTunes page, using the Cite Web template. As the page/discography is by the artist themselves, that would be reliable. Regarding him being kicked out of Silversun Pickups - as the article is a biography of a living person, Wikipedia's policy requires "all quotations and any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be attributed to a reliable, published source using an inline citation; material not meeting this standard may be removed". This is likely to be challenged, therefore unless a source is found for that we can't add that in, unfortunately.
- Your edit was flagged to the edit patrolling software Huggle; that's where I saw it and why I removed it so quickly. To make sure your content isn't removed in the future, please make sure to add the content and sources at the same time. I understand your good intentions. If you reply with a link to the musicians iTunes page, I'll look at it and see if I can add your sourced content back in. Eyebeller (talk) 20:02, 10 November 2020 (UTC)

Don't revert, the thing is actually misspelled. The page needs to be moved, too. Regards, Wilhelm Tell DCCXLVI converse | fings wot i hav dun 13:56, 15 November 2020 (UTC)
- There is no evidence that it is a spelling mistake, the current spelling seems to be correct. Why do you think it's a spelling mistake? Eyebeller (talk) 13:59, 15 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Eyebeller: The authorities who named the taxon, Mackaye, Brunet & Tassy, spelled it with an e. You can look at the source in the reflist. Wilhelm Tell DCCXLVI converse | fings wot i hav dun 14:11, 15 November 2020 (UTC)

Hello Eyeballer, I am still learning the ropes and until you pointed it out I had no idea I had deleted content, I was only reviewing the article based on new information and standard practice here, and unintentionally didn't leave a description in the edit summary. Thank you for pointing it out as I know what to do next time. Naijaseer (talk) 03:01, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Naijaseer. Thanks for your message. I'm glad you read my message on your talk page and I look forward to seeing your helpful contributions in the future. :) Eyebeller (talk) 07:55, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
