Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Knight's Cross
I was pretty pissed too. Sorry, I tried to alert interested parties, but missed you (and the ones who did show up voted to delete). I've saved everything here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Czolgolz/List_of_living_Knight's_Cross_of_the_Iron_Cross_recipients
Feel free to update here, I'd like to keep this going.Czolgolz (talk) 03:10, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
- I tried to merge it... Anyway, I suggest adding sources and intigrating the info into a related article a little later. I'm happy to help if needed. Legacypac (talk) 04:12, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you Czolgolz! Lets hope the Hyenas let it be there. A lot of similar lists on userpages were lost also in the last months. And I don't think that all people who contributed in the past will find it there, but I will try my best to help. I wonder what articles about "super old people" were also lost in this "cleanup" that Legacypac mentioned? Regards --Dangermouse600 (talk) 00:08, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
- You weren't kidding about the hyenas! Now they're trying to delete my Sandbox! Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Czolgolz/List of living Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross recipientsCzolgolz (talk) 17:31, 19 December 2015 (UTC)
- I was expecting this. They did it with other users as well. The Best is to find another wiki or go to a war or age related forum. It is so ridiculous what this Wolfowitz-Thing is writing. Don't compare your site with other similar sites you may know to save it. The Hyenas will then go there as well, it will not save your site. I experienced the same some years ago with some lists that followed the exact same basics. Some were deleted back then, others still exist today. It makes no sense.--Dangermouse600 (talk) 00:42, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
- Well, they deleted it, but a very nice wikipedian saved a copy for me here: https://archive.is/6YJZL though it cannot be edited. Heinrich Ruhl passed away recently. Czolgolz (talk) 17:07, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
