Got it. Thanks. I was unaware of the Wikipedia policy on infobox photo captions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Toughpoets (talk • contribs) 02:23, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
Done Wasting My Time Here
Things are not done right. The only response you get is in defense of someone who is wrong for their rude behaviour. Certain users are favoured and allowed to attack newcomers. Information not updated accurately. Complete waste of time and total rubbish. I will make sure to tell everyone what happened here and warn them to stay far away from Wikipedia Truth Supervisor (talk) 16:24, 27 May 2016 (UTC)
- OK. Have fun. Cheers. --‖ Ebyabe talk - State of the Union ‖ 18:29, 27 May 2016 (UTC)
Sorry I'm a noob at this ~cbass
Sorry thank you for the info I will test things on sandbox I'm still getting used to Wikipedia just to let you know. Cbassinator711 (talk) 01:25, 29 May 2016 (UTC)
Re: Prozorro
I honestly don't think the article is salvageable, all the author is doing is copy-pasting more content from another site. Additionally, I'm wondering if we should be treating them as a sock of User:Prozorro who created a very similar copyvio article before being blocked for username policy violations. RA0808 talkcontribs 19:30, 29 May 2016 (UTC)
- @RA0808: If the user was blocked for a username policy violation, then they aren't really a sock—they're encouraged in the soft-block message to create a new account. However, if they're copy and pasting text, that is a bigger concern. I'm not finding large blocks that are copied word-for-word; I need pointers to subpages, I think, to see that. —C.Fred (talk) 19:33, 29 May 2016 (UTC)
- I might have spoken too soon. Looks like the author's trying to do things in their own words now, which is at least an improvement. At this revision it was almost entirely copied text. I'm going to drop the speedy down to just G11 for the moment. RA0808 talkcontribs 19:52, 29 May 2016 (UTC)
Page Deletion.
Hi. I tried to create a page about myself, an accomplished musician, yet it keeps getting deleted. why. Other musicians like me, can have their own pages, but some how I can't. It is very unfair on your part. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SeanCarley12 (talk • contribs) 01:46, 30 May 2016 (UTC)
- @SeanCarley12: I did not see anything in the article that asserted that you meet WP:MUSIC. Any biography that does not assert the significance or importance of the subject may be deleted. Further, other musicians, as a general rule, may not create pages about themselves. Notable musicians have pages written about them by independent editors. You're getting treated the same way any other musician is treated. —C.Fred (talk) 01:49, 30 May 2016 (UTC)
Page delerted
/wiki/TheKingHusker was deleted. It was a real page with real information. May sources and many website given — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheKingHusker (talk • contribs) 01:59, 30 May 2016 (UTC)
- @TheKingHusker: There were no reliable sources and no indication that the Youtube channel has any significance. —C.Fred (talk) 02:00, 30 May 2016 (UTC)
They have over 7,000 views. Does it need more to be significant. Reliable websites sources have been given — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheKingHusker (talk • contribs) 02:04, 30 May 2016 (UTC)
- @TheKingHusker: No reliable indpendent websites were provided. The view count alone isn't enough for notability (though that's a pretty small number, in the grand scheme of things). WP:WEB describes what does make web content notable. —C.Fred (talk) 02:13, 30 May 2016 (UTC)
What do I need to do to get a wiki page? They have a live counter as well. That website IS independent. https://livecounts.net/channel/thekinghusker — Preceding unsigned comment added by TKH811 (talk • contribs) 02:22, 30 May 2016 (UTC)
- @TKH811: You need to show that the site is significant or important per WP:WEB. Web counters, stats pages, and directory listings don't cut it. —C.Fred (talk) 03:07, 30 May 2016 (UTC)
Page was deleted again. I doubt that Smosh or Markiplier had any news information or articles. What gives? — Preceding unsigned comment added by TKH811 (talk • contribs) 13:14, 3 June 2016 (UTC)
- @TKH811: What gives is that the content of the page was "Canadian-based YouTube channel." That is effectively zero assertion of significance or importance. Seriously, re-read WP:WEB and make sure the site meets those criteria before creating an article. Though really, with your conflict of interest, you shouldn't be trying to create the article at all. —C.Fred (talk) 21:47, 3 June 2016 (UTC)
Seriously? When i spend hours typing a whole write-up it's deleted. Then when I limit the info, it's deleted. Explain how bigger YouTubers get wiki pages but I, a huge fan, cannot make a wiki page for a smaller channel. There are some YouTubers on Wikipediawhere they have NO NO NO articles or relevance.
- Do not discourage people by telling them they should not be making pages, as you did to me. As a higher person on this website, I should be expecting you to encourage users of deleted pages to better improve the page, like showing relevance, not telling then to not make the page.
I have a question for you.
Can you link me a piece of relevant information that could show how Filthy Frank gets a wiki page?
Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TKH811 (talk • contribs) 22:31, 3 June 2016 (UTC)
- @TKH811: Other stuff exists. Whether or not other YouTubers have articles is not relevant to why your article got deleted.
- That said, if there's a specific article you have a question about, give me a link to the article and I'll take a look. —C.Fred (talk) 23:01, 3 June 2016 (UTC)
- Though since you mentioned Filthy Frank, he does not have an article. —C.Fred (talk) 23:02, 3 June 2016 (UTC)
Okay. What are the other stuff that I can link to you to help keep a simple wiki page up? — Preceding unsigned comment added by TKH811 (talk • contribs) 23:04, 3 June 2016 (UTC)
- @TKH811: Per WP:GNG, you'll need to show substantial coverage in reliable, secondary sources. —C.Fred (talk) 23:12, 3 June 2016 (UTC)
I read that page. Can I get an example other than an article? Also does this reference need to be listed in the wiki page or once it's flagged? — Preceding unsigned comment added by TKH811 (talk • contribs) 15:46, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
- @TKH811: An example of what? And yes, reference should be added as the page is built, not just when somebody else asks for them. —C.Fred (talk) 15:58, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
An example of a secondary source that you would approve of other than a news article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TKH811 (talk • contribs) 17:27, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
- @TKH811: I'm trying to think what else would be written about a YouTube site. I'd lump a review in with a news article, personally. Also, the key with the review is that the reviewer must be a well-known/well-respected reviewer and must write at length about the site. (Most bloggers fails the well-known clause; a reviewer for Wired would pass it. The reviewer would also need to write a couple of column-inches about the site, not just a sentence or paragraph.) —C.Fred (talk) 17:31, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
So if I can find a review about the channel, it would be okay? The thing is I am not aware of reviews written about other channels. Would anything else do? Some YouTubers just don't appear in a news article ir have a review wirtiien about them by a huge reviewer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TKH811 (talk • contribs) 17:35, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
- @TKH811: Sounds like some YouTubers just aren't notable and may not have a Wikipedia article, then. —C.Fred (talk) 18:01, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
I was actually taking about YouTubers who already have a wiki page — Preceding unsigned comment added by TKH811 (talk • contribs) 18:06, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
- @TKH811: As I said before, other stuff exists. We'd been discussing what hurdles would need cleared for TKH to merit an article. As I said before, if you want to discuss any other article, you need to be specific and provide a link to it. —C.Fred (talk) 18:10, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
So how do I layout references when I recreate the page later?
Also, I need a link to a news article or a channel review? Any other reference I could use? Maybe if they have a website?
What are the other things? — Preceding unsigned comment added by TKH811 (talk • contribs) 18:19, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
- Maybe if who has a website? —C.Fred (talk) 18:22, 4 June 2016 (UTC)

Minor edits
That is exactly what my edits at Muhammad Ali are, C.Fred. Too Small a Fish to Fry (talk) 00:37, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
(...Then your edit on my page...)
Where is the word "legal" or "legally," etc., regarding his changed name? Too Small a Fish to Fry (talk) 00:41, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
- @Too Small a Fish to Fry: I'm looking for a concrete source. Everything says that he changed his name. ESPN 1420 said legal name change, but I hadn't verified their source. —C.Fred (talk) 00:47, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
Let me know when you find one then. And why is it actually NOT on the talk page like you claimed? (Previous comment unsigned by me. The bot will get it later anyway.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Too Small a Fish to Fry (talk • contribs) 00:49, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
- Check the archives. Numbers 4 and 5 have previous discussion about this subject, I know. —C.Fred (talk) 00:59, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
Hello!
Hey! Thank you for welcoming me, I appreciate it. I'm starting to get hang of things, so here's my first question :)
There's an abusive user that keeps changing the registrar details to some false website. Article link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.host I and a few other people have reverted his changes, but it has occurred twice already, so it'd be awesome if you could take a look. Within the editing history of that article are reversals by another administrator and advanced editor.

Valley Center Days
Hello. My page, Valley Center Days, has been marked for speedy deletion, but it is completely cited and referenced as a official page. You are defending the page "Valley Center Western Days" but that is a falsified source and I have written the reasons WHY in my article, which was written to promote a non-profit event and explain why the name was changed. The other page only cites self written sources, but I have proven that mine is correct and his is meant for self-promotion.Please correct this error, as the page "Valley Center Western Days" is spreading false information. Vchero (talk) 18:16, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
- @Vchero: Neither event is notable. The difference is that VCWD is an established article and is going through deletion discussion. As a new creation and clearly not notable, VCD is subject to speedy deletion. —C.Fred (talk) 18:20, 4 June 2016 (UTC)4
- Roadrunner Publications was also contested for speedy deletion, and the result was to delete the page. Instead, the user deleted the notice and kept it up. Is there a way for VCWD and Roadrunner Publications to be deleted? If so, my article does not need to be up. The only reason it is posted is because VCWD is providing incorrect information to mislead our community into using his name, which he is attempting to trademark. The attempt is being contested legally by event organizers [1]. Valley Center Western Days is not connected to any event or organization and therefore should not be an article, while Valley Center Days is connected to multiple verifiable websites and organizations. Vchero (talk) 18:30, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
- Sounds like you have an agenda against the event and cannot edit from neutral point of view. —C.Fred (talk) 18:33, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
- Western Days is not an event, nor is Roadrunner Publications. Vchero (talk) 18:52, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
