Regarding {{MLB Commissioners}}: I don't mind the move, but you should keep in mind that the early commissioners (Landis, Chandler, perhaps others) were commissioners of Organized Baseball, rather than Major League Baseball; they had jurisdiction over the minor leagues as well. Just thought i'd leave a message; don't get disheartened! The tasks you're doing at the moment don't require the admin tools, and at the end of the day adminship is not a big deal; admins are no more important than other users, simply more trusted. If you're still interested in getting the use of the tools, however, then you need to get more involved in admin related areas; participate in AfD's to get a grasp of policy, work on CSD's (New Page Patrol is a good place to find them) and take part in voting in the RfA process itself so you know what's required. I think the navbar is OK as it is. It's streamlined. Still, as more splits come about (T will certainly need one next, and yeah, S will probably have to be 3 or 4 pages), we should probably look at making a change of some kind. I wonder if this might work:

Ok, first off, you aren't supposed to have banners nested unless they are inside a {{WikiProjectBannerShell}}. And the problem is because they have changed some of the coding at {{WPBannerMeta}} (Which your template uses). But this isn't a problem because it's a process of conversion. Just when you nest your banners make sure you put them inside a shell like this:

Hi- since I realized you updated the WP:MLB template to include subprojects, I'm curious if you could give us a bit of help here. All we're trying to figure out how to do is implement the French communes template into the main WikiProject France template; I realize the WP:MLB template could give us some help, but quite honestly the syntax of that is beyond my knowledge. WikiProject Yorkshire
Hi, I notice that you have created an importance category with sub-categories for the project at a different point in the tree to the existing priority categories which we are currently using. Is there any reason for this to be located where it is and not with the other categories at a lower point in the tree? - The categories you have created can they be moved down the tree to sit under Category:WikiProject Yorkshire articles where the existing Category:Yorkshire articles by priority exist?
- The comment information is not really usable at the bottom in small text as you cannot read it - if anything it should be in normal font size so that it is readable, preferably with an option of where it is located in the output template. The meta template seems to be useful for standardising but does not seem to be very customisable.
- The links that are wrong are the ones that go to a central assessment page rather than to the project specific assessment page, which will need bringing into alignment with the changes made as it currently uses priority categories even though the template parameter is importance.
- I did think of reverting but thought I would leave it until I get back from holiday to see if things had sorted themselves out as the job queue will take ages to get through all of the articles. It took 5 days last time for a change to replicate round the banners so not good to change them very often. Keith D (talk) 11:45, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

List
In the list you created, List of players from Czechoslovakia in Major League Baseball, there were three guys who were born before Czechoslovakia even became a country. I altered it to reflect that there were actually just two players who were born in that country. The three other guys were born either in the Austrian Empire or the Austro-Hungarian Empire depending on their birthdates. They should either be on lists for those countries or lists for whatever countries exist at their birthplaces now (either the Czech Republic or the Slovak Republic). To be consistent with other pages on Wikipedia, the latter approach should probably be taken. See for example Dave Pavlas, who is listed as being born in the existing country of Germany even though he was actually born in the now defunct nation of West Germany. Using the examples of Pavlas and others as a guide, it would seem best to put the five guys who were on the Czechoslovakia list either on the Czech Republic list or the Slovak Republic list depending on where exactly they were born. 69.68.238.142 (talk) 19:36, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- Upon further investigation, it appears that the Germany and West Germany lists were merged (see: Talk:List of players from Germany in Major League Baseball). footy-bio-stubs
Hi Borgarde - I've some very slight concerns about a couple of the footy-bio-stubs you made in the last few hours. Firstly, {{Myanmar-footy-bio-stub}} - Wikipedia generally uses the term Burma, not Myanmar (there was a big discussion and major renaming of articles using the term Myanmar a few months back). I've moved the template to {{Burma-footy-bio-stub}}l, but kept the Myanmar name as a redirect, so there's no big problem there. The other concern's a little more thorny, though, and may need some discussion at one of the stub-sorting pages: Tibet-footy-bio-stub. We've largely avoided splitting Tibet stubs for the obvious reasons relating to its status (in fact, the geo-stubs should more technically be considered and named Tibetan Autonomous Region geography stubs, as part of China's geo stubs). Tibet also isn't recognised by FIFA, so having a separate footy-bio-stub's probably a little questionable anyway. Grutness...wha? 22:30, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
