Hurt Report
Hi Biker Bilker, There is a new UK motorcycle accidents report coming out that will be submitted to the DFT. Sort of a Hurt 2012. Would you like to have a first look at it when it is available? You may be the best person to write about it as I have yet to figure out all the widgets etc! Hailypaige (talk)

Quite Right
You're correct that changes to wiki articles need to be justified with (non-self-)published texts...the note was a shorthand for my reasons for the change...but I'll make the correction again when I've got the magazine articles in hand for a reference link. I wasn't suggesting, btw, that my own article is definitive, and you'll note I didn't add it as a reference on the wiki page. I've had the pleasure of sitting on both of the bikes in question (Zenith-JAP and OEC-Temple-JAP) , and know their respective owners well. As a note on editing and clean-up though, my modest change to the World Motorcycle Land Speed Record article (and are there motorcycle speed records on water?) in the interests of accuracy is, with its temporary lack of attribution, a far less heinous crime than the horrifically written and inaccurate body of text which precedes it. Clearly, the wiki editor in question (me) was interested in accuracy, and perhaps the energy might be better spent re-writing the very sad main body of text. Which I'll get to shortly. All the best. Simraceway advert+puffery
Hi Biker,
Just responding to your tags of the simraceway entry. I have gone back through and re-evaluated the entry to help alleviate any language that might seem to come off as promotional. That vast majority of the content within is from 3rd party articles. I am a pretty big gamer and while the content within the entry might come across as a bit zealous, much of what they are doing is an industry first and myself as well as their 100k facebook fans and the racing community as a whole is very excited about what they are doing. This is one of the first times PC gamers are getting what platorm gamers have had for years and we are all just excited! If there is anything specific that remains and should be removed, can you please identify it for me so I can modify to be in accordance with Wiki guidelines. Thanks Seyoda (talk) 08:43, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
Ceallach Spellman's Birthdate
Hey there Biker Biker
I'm wondering why you seem determined to remove the birth date for Ceallach Spellman? It has been published several times on Twitter and on Twitcam appearances (in person) clearly publishing his age... all available publicly if you look, but you seem determine to keep removing it.
I have read the article on sourcing information and although it states Twitter cannot be used as a source to 'self serve', I don't see how publishing your birthday is self serving in any way - which consequently states Twitter can be used. I don't get how if he was interviewed by a newspaper and he tells them his birthday which they publish, it can then be acceptable. With the amount of lies that get told by newspapers, I think the most reliable source would be direct from the person themselves. Do you not agree? People have done their research here and the birthdate is correct, I hope you can revert your edit.

Ford Fiesta
Hi, i get the logic with removing monthly dates but why remove the yearly ones i'm adding only to change both tables to unsourced statements? I have more sales years for the Fiesta, so a table would work better i think. Thanks Jenova20 10:51, 30 November 2011 (UTC)
- I didn't remove the yearly ones, I moved them elsewhere to be consistent with the way other sales figures are reported in the article. As for the table, yes if you have multiple figures then a table may be appropriate. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Tables. --Biker Biker (talk) 11:18, 30 November 2011 (UTC)

content deleted
Hi, you deleted a new external link on Overlanding. Please see my comment in Talk:Overlanding. Thanks -Dangrec (talk) 02:34, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
I have removed your "ref needed tag" for the applications section in these two articles. As noted in the edit summary on WikiProject Aircraft in general we have omitted application refs as long as the linked article has the refs cited, with they do for all blue links. We have insisted on refs cited for red links, however. If you insist then as per WP:V these can be found and all added, but it will be very time consuming to do and, since the linked articles all contain the refs rather pointless, in my opinion. If you insist, however then it will be done. - Ahunt (talk) 21:00, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
- If the original aircraft article has a source that shows the engine is fitted then there is no problem, and putting a duplicate of that citation in the engine article would be time consuming and unnecessary. I'll skim over a few to check. However, if there is no reference then it should really be removed from the engine article or tagged as citation needed. --Biker Biker (talk) 21:56, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for your understanding on this. Other than the odd red link in the lists (which can be referenced or removed) the rest are all referenced in the linked articles I believe. If any aren't then tag them, or drop me a note, and I will fix the linked articles, as those need the refs regardless. - Ahunt (talk) 11:01, 14 December 2011 (UTC)

new 1km world record
is this a good enough source the fact is the record was smashed in 2010 and 4 people beat it im not too good at finding sources, but i think its stupid for you to delete my edit and leave the page out of date without quickly researching it yourself the following link is a different link to the link you earlier refered to(organiser statement) http://www.straightliners.co.uk/events/index.php/results/2010-wheelie-record/sunday-times — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yesitwasme (talk • contribs) 09:39, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
- Where on that page does it say it is an official world record? It should be reported by somebody other than the event organiser, which is what that page is, and it is therefore not a reliable independent source. Did MCN or one of the other bike mags report it? --Biker Biker (talk) 10:00, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
Outlaws MC
I am a member of the Outlaws MC and I would like the Wikipedia page edited.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outlaws_Motorcycle_Club It states that we are an organized crime syndicate and we are not. We are just a motorcycle club. Like ALL organizations a few bad seeds may filter through, but as a whole we are not criminals. In the years of being an Outlaw, I've never seen or been a part of what's described in the Outlaws MC page as organized crime.
Also, we are a Club, not a Gang. Members are allowed to join or quit as they see fit.
Please help me, help us. We do not like this type of public image and would like to change this.
Thank you

- Understood, but Wikipedia is based on verifiability not truth. If you have reliable sources which counter the sourced content in the article e.g. stuff about charity work, then please add it to the article. However, if existing content is well sourced and is not given undue weight then there is no reason to remove it. And obviously, if there is no source which says the club is a gang, or an organised crime syndicate then it can be removed. --Biker Biker (talk) 17:09, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
- And keep in mind the "gang" part is sourced, including a source to the US Department of Justice. Wikipedia goes by what reliable sources report as fact. Feel free to take it up with USDOJ. tedder (talk) 17:53, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
