:Seconding this request. Whatever ''personal belief'' you may have that Northern Ireland should be part of the Republic of Ireland does not exempt you from Wikipedia's [[WP:V|verifiability]] and [[WP:RS|reliable sourcing]] standards. Discussion on Administrators' Noticeboard/Incidents
Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you.. And also see User talk:Chaser#BigMattyO unblock for background. O Fenian (talk) 20:29, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
You should contribute to the discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#Unblock_of_BigMattyO, not (just) to my talk page. I won't be thoroughly involved in this discussion.--Chaser (talk) 22:18, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
- I don't really get your message on my talk page. What then did you interpret the following at the bottom of this version of your talk page: "If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}"? Was that somehow unclear?--Chaser (talk) 23:37, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
- To be honest, I didn't fully understand about the rules of Wikipedia and its basic features and functions, since I didn't receive a proper welcome message. So, in this case, I wasn't completely clear about how the talk page worked. I only ever had a fair idea on how to edit articles from external sources, but didn't expect that I would ever cause "vandalism" to an article. However, those links you provided me were very helpful, I just wish I had known about them earlier. BigMattyO 01:17, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
