Well, now that the page is protected there won't be any editing on it until this dispute is resolved. And that will require participation from both you and AzureFury - see my comment here. I would also like to see everyone not make any more personal remarks towards one another. In addition, keep in mind that no one really owns the article they write on Wikipedia, as everything we write is under the GFDL (see Alansohn's comment above). By the way, please avoid comments with the word "sue" in them. You might consider retracting this part of your comment on Stifle's, Alansohn's and my talk pages. Khoikhoi 03:19, 25 August 2008 (UTC) |

:First off, there are far better ways to express your revulsion, especially when we have an official policy about it here. Now having said that, AzureFury does not have to watch the film or have to be an expert on the subject. I haven't read the entire talk page, but I think that one of his concerns are that the article contains peacock terms. This is what I mean when I talk about a conflict over the word choices in the article. Now I believe this is only a content dispute that it can be hopefully resolved without much trouble, but I want to keep it a content dispute. Therefore please read the policy that I've mentioned (WP:NLT), and let me know if you are still willing to engage in the mediation. Khoikhoi 04:04, 25 August 2008 (UTC) |
Revision as of 04:04, 25 August 2008
Nota bene
This contributor once decided to leave for good as a protest against the rude, arrogant and menacing behaviours of some Wikipedia photo-editors. They seem perfectly to exemplify the notions of those who know the price of everything and the value of nothing. The rigidity of thought as I have witnessed of these individuals is ultimately bound to leave no choice for those contributors who value their dignity above all else but to leave Wikipedia, as I have with great sadness decided to do.
- We returned to our places, these Kingdoms,
- But no longer at ease here, in the old dispensation,
- With an alien people clutching their gods.
- I should be glad of another death.

Since I reunited Wikipedia sometimes ago, I met one excellent editor to whom the above remarks do not apply and to whom I offer my sincere apologies for the offence that these remarks must necessarily give rise to. The goodness of this editor was unfortunately overcompensated by meeting some "usual" contributors to whom the following applies:
- "Fall'n Cherub, to be weak is miserable
- Doing or suffering; but of this be sure,
- To do aught good never will be our task,
- But ever to do ill our sole delight,
- As ..."

I have prepared something small here: 1. It is amazing that unrecognized and bogus organizations like UNPO and amnesty repeat historical nonsense that have been fabricated for political purposes. --Nepaheshgar 19:43, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Hi. I'm just letting you know I responded to your comment on my own talk page. Mycroft7 (talk) 14:55, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
Please do not revert this entry. If User:AzureFury wants to write on the subject matter, he should write everything by himself. I disallow this User using any part of my text. If this is not good enough, please delete the entry from Wikipedia altogether, after which User:AzureFury can write whatever he deems appropriate on the subject matter. I warn you, that should any part of my text be used by User:AzureFury, I will sue Wikipedia for acting against my wish, that is that of the copyright holder of the original text. This user has no permission from me to use any part of my text. The details on the talk page of the above-mentioned entry clearly show that User:AzureFury is just an adventurer who actively seeks conflict with me; by his own admission, he has not seen the film and has no qualification for writing an encyclopaedic entry on this film. --BF 02:42, 25 August 2008 (UTC).
- You may want to review the terms of your participation in Wikipedia. Just above the "Save Page" button on every edit is a notice that "You irrevocably agree to release your contributions under the terms of the GFDL.", which basically puts all of your Wikipedia edits in the public domain. Below the "Save Page" button are a few notes, the first of which reads "If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly or redistributed for profit by others, do not submit it." I would suggest that you also review WP:OWN, which should make clear that this is not your article, regardless of your qualifications or those of other editors. These are some of the most basic rules we live by on Wikipedia. Alansohn (talk) 02:50, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
