Interesting. I'm sure WND and news outlets will just ''love'' to hear about how hard Wikipedia is trying to censor the fact that Obama is ineligible to become President as he does not meet the constitutional requirements. [[User:Axmann8|-Axmann8]] [[User talk:Axmann8|(Talk)]] 15:56, 17 March 2009 (UTC) '''''and Obama's carrying Bigfoot's alien lovechild!''''' {{unblock reviewed|1=Obvious conflict of interest between myself and the blocking administrator. This is shown on the blocking admin's userpage where one of his userboxes states that he supports George W. Bush's prosecution. Also, it is shown where he reveals himself to have been a delegate at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. He refers to himself as a "hippie", and states that he is an advocate for socialist, organized labor. This is obviously a conflict of interest between himself and my conservative views, and this doesn't have anything to do with my conduct (which, I am expressly stating, was not bad faith). I am simply requesting that the block made by this person who ''obviously'' has a conflict of interest with my conservative views, be revoked, and if another administrator wishes to place a block on me, so be it, but it would be very inappropriate for this user to be the blocking administrator, as he has shown (and proven, per the userboxes and bio on his userpage) that there is a conflict of interest, and therefore, this block is obviously not appropriate. Thank you. [[User:Axmann8|-Axmann8]] [[User talk:Axmann8|(Talk)]] 15:24, 17 March 2009 (UTC)|decline=Declined, and I have re-blocked you indefinitely as you seem to be unable to leave your politics and POV at the door. –[[User:Xeno|'''xeno''']] ([[User talk:Xeno|talk]]) 15:40, 17 March 2009 (UTC)}} |

*For the record, I'm Canadian and not into politics. I don't think this user understands than personal points of views on politics have no place while contributing to the encyclopedia. The indefinite block is to prevent further disruption until he agrees to modify his behaviour. I don't think that a return to the same behaviour in a month will be helpful for anyone. –[[User:Xeno|'''xeno''']] ([[User talk:Xeno|talk]]) 15:54, 17 March 2009 (UTC) |

*I agree that the article [[Criticism of George W. Bush]] should not exist, as it's a POV fork. That made me all the more reluctant to block you. My own opionion of the guy had nothing to do with it. An administrator accepted your word [[:WP:AGF|in good faith]] that you would cease deliberately disrupting Wikipedia; but then you [[:WP:MEATPUPPET|threatened to organize a group of conservative Wikipedians]] [[:WP:POINT|dedicated to disrupting Wikipedia to make a point]] (unlike many of our fine conservative, reactionary, royalist and/or Randite editors whose contributions have been valuable over the years). That was unacceptable; but I was only willing to block you for a short period, in hopes that you would come back later and make useful contributions. I'm sorry you were unwilling to do that. I will, of course, step aside and let other admins evaluate your latest request; but I feel '''my''' action was in strictest regard for Wikipedia policy. --[[User:Orangemike|Orange Mike]] | [[User talk:Orangemike|Talk]] 15:55, 17 March 2009 (UTC) |

:God, has Axmann been blocked ''again'' indefinately? Does this mean that I'll have to stop adopting him? '''-[[User:Download|down]][[User talk:Download|load]] <nowiki>|</nowiki> [[User:Download/Guestbook|sign!]]''' 22:41, 17 March 2009 (UTC) |

::Indefinite doesn't necessarily equal infinite; Axmann8 is free to request further review of this block via email to another editor (i.e. an adopter), an administrator, or arbcom. As he cannot currently edit this page, politeness dictates that discussion here should be kept to a minimum. –[[User:Xeno|'''xeno''']] ([[User talk:Xeno|talk]]) 22:45, 17 March 2009 (UTC) |

:::I don't think he can be trusted. I've "trolled" anti-Islamic groups on Facebook and I deliberately ignored pleas to stop until they blocked me. Axmann8 said he would stay off political pages, and did do some meaningful edits, but then participated in a deletion for criticism of Bush. Maybe a few months to get his head straight.- [[user:JustPhil|Just]][[user talk:JustPhil|Phil]] 22:57, 17 March 2009 (UTC) |

*At the request of another user, I've restored the original block length and because people have commented here, I've re-enabled editing of your talk page (perhaps you could take the opportunity to remove the bit at the top). If you are going to prepare another unblock request please focus on the issue and not the blocking or reviewing administrators. –[[User:Xeno|'''xeno''']] ([[User talk:Xeno|talk]]) 03:21, 18 March 2009 (UTC) |

Request reason:
However, that said, If I may raise just a short point of contention. It honestly does appear that the ones who are attacking me have expressed purely leftist views. This is not to be disruptive, but user JustPhil, himself stated on his userpage that "I am a hardcore Democrat". I feel that if users are going to participate in action and/or discussion about my blocks, they should be members who do not express such things on their userpages, out of respect and good faith, and as a sign of fairness and neutrality
Again, thank you for re-instating my talk page privileges.
Notes:
- In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
- Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:
{{Unblock on hold |1=blocking administrator |2=Thank you for restoring the ability to edit my talk page. It is much appreciated. If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting {{subst:Decline reason here}}
with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.
