::::::In the four days of that discussion 13 wanted to block her, and 9 were opposed. I would've stated my opposition as well if I had noticed that section at the time. I don't believe any permanent ban would've actually taken place for such simple newbie mistakes, but no way really to tell. Since she hasn't made those sorts of mistakes since then, there is no way you could get her blocked/banned now, so not really relevant to current events. Doctor Who question for you. "Resistance is futile"
Didn't the Daleks invent the phrase ""Resistance is futile", long before the borg on Star Trek did? Any idea what episode they first said that is in? I'm looking at List of catchphrases and was thinking Daleks had it first. Dream Focus 21:52, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
- Being a huge doctor who fan, and rarely getting to show off my knowledge, I don't think daleks ever said "resistance is futile" (though I think one may have said "it is futile to resist"). Having said that... I'm pretty sure the Master said it... I remember chuckling when I saw it. Hopefully Amy will be able to confirm. WormTT · (talk) 23:07, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
- Never mind. I found a site with transcripts from all the old episodes. Two episodes have it, the Master saying it once, and then some minor one time character called Officer not even important enough to have a name. The cybermen on the new series do say "you will be assimilated", but I don't find any mention of them doing it in the old series before Star Trek came about. Dream Focus 02:14, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
- The Daleks did say "it is futile to resist" in the Deadly Assasin but not resistance is futile. I don't remeber the Master ever saying it though. I don't watch Star Trek so I don't know if they said it or not, hope that helped. Androzaniamy (talk) 12:11, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
- [1] Revelation of the Daleks is where that hapened. DALEK: You must surrender. The Earth woman must come with us. It is futile to resist. The Deadly Assassin was [2] MASTER: A stupid remark, Doctor. Resistance is futile now. I found [3] OFFICER: Please, Doctor, resistance is futile. We mean her no harm. Eight different episodes [4] had "Resistance is useless". Anyway, no big deal. Dream Focus 12:22, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
- So which show had that phrase first? Androzaniamy (talk) 12:24, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
- Star Trek's Borg had it as their catch phrase first. Doctor Who apparently just had it said a few times in different ways, but not regularly. Dream Focus 12:29, 6 May 2012 (UTC)

Note
FWIW, in response to this comment, I didn't consider your response on the adoption page overly rude and am not at all angry about it; I'm perfectly fine with your request to wait for WTT to answer your questions and will not post on the adopt page again. Nobody Ent 02:21, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks, I just hope Cyberpower agrees. Androzaniamy (talk) 18:21, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
- I made that comment, I've removed it now. Apologies to Nobody Ent and Cyberpower. @Androzaniamy- I made that comment primarily because it saddens me when people try to help and are basically turned away in a not-so-polite manner. I can understand how you might not have meant to come over so abruptly. I'll cease my involvement here. Regards SD5 04:06, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
- I've never heared of you and you've still been on my adoption page. How many people are the same? Androzaniamy (talk) 18:21, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
- It shouldn't concern you whether you've "heard of me" or not. I made a comment and then removed it. That's the point- anyone can comment anywhere. As I looked at my comment and saw that it could be seen as overly critical I took the decision to remove it. Have a nice day. SD5 20:25, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
- So does mine. I know this has nothing to do with it but how did you find me, Wikipedia is a big place so the chances of you just happening to find my classroom are quite small? Androzaniamy (talk) 16:01, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
- I saw this question and I though I'd answer for you. Many users found you because you are taking an adoption program with User:Worm That Turned. His talk page has 120 watchers. People do this because A)they gain valuable information and guidance by seeing questions answered on his page and B)they can assist Worm in answering the many questions he receives. - When I ask someone a question I mean it for them, not for random busybodies to answer. I don't want any talk page stalkers. Androzaniamy (talk) 17:55, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
- Whenever you see a post you don't like, you erase it, and in the edit summary ask the person not to post on your talk page again. Only way to avoid those overly critical of you, and the people that drag out conversations every chance they get. Dream Focus 22:15, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

Tracy Beaker
The writer of the series has an official page listing information about the character. I added a link to the external links section on the article. I notice that a lot of your article was deleted as "original research" the day it went out there. You can add things in and reference them to the official character profile [5] or the one on the BBC site [6] if you want. I just sorted through the Google news archive results and found some things to quote from to prove the article is notable, as I often do in the article rescue squadron. [7] If someone ever tries to delete an article you believe should be saved, just post a link there, and help is on the way. Dream Focus 23:42, 18 May 2012 (UTC)
- A whole bunch of text just got removed by a user who's not supposed to have anything to do with me! It is not my own original research because it's from the book itself. Can I add it back in? Androzaniamy (talk) 10:36, 20 May 2012 (UTC)
- If you add a reference to the book and the page number that says what you are putting in there, its perfectly fine. You can't say she is "bossy" unless the book describers her is that though. Dream Focus 14:46, 20 May 2012 (UTC)
- Also, if a news sources calls her bossy, that's fine. I just Google News archive search, and searched for her name and the word "bossy". [8] I found some results, including one where the author calls her character bossy. [9] Whenever someone doubts information is true or claims its original research, you just find a place its mentioned in a book or in the news. Dream Focus 16:13, 20 May 2012 (UTC)

Final time
Hi Amy. I've been off for a week, so sorry I've missed a lot of the "fun" that's been going on. Having said that, you appear to have ignored a few of my recent messages, specifically this one and this one. So, I'm going to tell you this, one final time, in it's own section. If you carry on ignoring this, you will be blocked, it's quite simple.
Wikipedia is a collaborative and open project. This means that every editor is working towards the same goal, and the goal is so big that many editors will help out when they see another struggling. This is how it's meant to be, there is no malice intended. You have repeatedly been rude to other people who are trying to help you out, complaining that because you "have not heard of them", they shouldn't be contacting you. This violates wikipedia policy, that you should be civil and that you should assume that people are working for good. If you cannot stop being rude to other editors, then get off wikipedia. If I see more rudeness, I will block you myself. No editor deserves to be treated as you've treated some editors here.
Right, now that's out of the way, let's get some things straight.
- Talk page stalkers are a fact of wikipedia life. It's how collaboration works on a wiki. If don't want them, leave wikipedia.
- Dream Focus is right, if there are any comments that you don't like, you can remove them. It's also reasonable that you don't feel harassed by editors, so if someone's turning up here too much, you can ask them politely to unwatch your page. However, you shouldn't be doing this often, it should be a last resort. If you cannot work with other editors, then you should not be here.
- However, I have not seen editors being "overly critical of you". You will notice that my note is very similar to what PamD said. This is the way wikipedia works.
- There is no interaction ban between you and Eagles247. He has gratiously agreed to leave your talk page alone, but when articles are in the mainspace they become fair game for all editors. Rather than assuming the worst, you should be dealing with the problems raised.
Quite simply, your attitude over the last week or so has stunk to high heaven. I blame myself a bit, because I haven't been around, but you need to sort yourself out. If you can't act as a member of this community, then leave. Understand? Now, I'm going to go and answer your question at your adoption page (and put a note on the top, asking other editors to back off), then I'm going to see if there's anything I can add to that Tracy Beaker article. WormTT · (talk) 10:20, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
- Talk page stalkers are not how collaboration works, its how pointless drawn out unnecessary arguments work. She does not have to leave Wikipedia to avoid them, just delete messages and ask the person not to post again, as she did with one person already. I don't see how her attitude has stunk at all, you just being "overly critical" of her. And telling someone they should leave if they don't do things your way, is rather rude of you. Androzaniamy, you might want to find a different mentor, or just ask someone you consider more reasonable whenever you have a question. Dream Focus 13:17, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
- I'm not surprised to see you here Dream Focus, but given that Amy was very nearly blocked at AN/I recently and I said there that without improvement she'd be summarily blocked, I'm not sure how helpful you're being. I'm not looking for a long discussion here, if anyone wants to discuss my methods for mentorship, my talk page is open. If anyone wants discuss Dream Focus' opinion, wander to his. I would like to see what Amy thinks to my comments, which I believe are clear, concise and accurate. WormTT · (talk) 13:33, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
- She was not nearly blocked. There was never any reasonable chance that that would actually happen do to some minor honest mistakes she made early on. Most people fortunately don't blow things out of proportion and act so overbearing. Dream Focus 13:46, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
- You say talk page stalkers are not how this project works yet you stalk her page. She was nearly blocked. There was discussion to indef her where a lot of support votes were placed. Because she chose to get mentored, the discussion died and nothing. Had she not gotten mentored, she would have gotten indeffed. You are not being very helpful Dream Focus.—cyberpower ChatLimited Access 13:52, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
