:I could likewise have tagged with Jason Smith for complete lack of sourcing (and thus any credible indication of notability). There seems to be a statistically significant correlation between 'articles that American Eagle has edited' and 'articles that lack any sources whatsoever'. However, I probably have enough on my plate already (and I rather suspect that talkradio has oodles of unsourced/poorly-sourced articles), so I'll simply watchlist this one for now. <font face="Antiqua, serif">HrafnTalkStalk</font> 08:56, 11 January 2009 (UTC) |

AfD nomination of Accidents, Not Punishments
I have nominated Accidents, Not Punishments, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Accidents, Not Punishments. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Noble Story (talk) 02:32, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

AFD discussion
I apologize if I seemed harsh in any way during the discussion. My beliefs are similar to yours (Baptist), but I only argued according to what I thought was the correct interpretation of Wikipedia policy. Again, apologies for any feelings hurt. Noble Story (talk) 03:11, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- No offense, but all deletions were within Wikipedia deletion policy. I think you should just make sure that your articles meet the notability guidelines before you create them. That'll save you a lot of time and trouble. Noble Story (talk) 12:04, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think you should get too discouraged about it. We all had problems like that at the beginning, (my first article went through a similar processs) but you'll eventually have no problems. However, one note: Usually, an external link just by itself does not give a particular article notability. It has to be a link about it from an independent source. Also, blogs and personal websites aren't usually accepted as "reliable" sources. I think if you keep that in mind then you'll have a lot more success in the future. Regards, Noble Story (talk) 00:42, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Well yes there could have been a better reason for Obama but I dew a blank. Have you read the book on Tony Dungee? I read it and it was good. It was in the Top 10 Best Sellers at a Christian Store that go too. Ronald Reagan in my opinion was the best modern-day president. I have a question, ow do I show my online status at the top of my page? Thank You.--Ezekiel of Howdypedia 16:40, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Wow your really good at this. Well it's all thanks to the Lord. Anyways you totally shot down an administrator. You defenintly deserve to be an admin. If you wanted to be one than I would nominate you. Thank you very much for the help I appreciate it.--Ezekiel †alk 15:59, 23 June 2008 (UTC) -->

Oh I almost forgot, you have to read this article from Sporting News. Here's the link. It's about David Tyree, the Giant who made the amazing catch off of his helmet in the Super Bowl. It's mainly about how God changed his life. Read it you'll like it.--Ezekiel †alk 17:48, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

It's good! =) The story is elegantly and artistically told, and I like the message it sends. It would almost be put in "recommended viewing" of my userpage if it isn't that simple (cinematography-wise), which I don't blame anyone since it is independently made. Overall I can say it is a first-rate film. You have seen any good ones lately? Cheers! Chimeric Glider (talk) 14:04, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
Long signatures
(Re [1]) I appreciate you are trying to be helpful, but the signature length restriction is there for a reason. Please do not encourage people to subst extremely long signatures via a template. –xenocidic (talk) 15:30, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
MfD nomination of User:American Eagle/sig
User:American Eagle/sig, a page you created, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User subpages used to subvert Mediawiki limit on signatures and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:American Eagle/sig during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. –xenocidic (talk) 17:02, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
- If you want me to delete your signature page just replace the text with db-u1, again, sorry for not discussing this with you ahead of time, but the MFD will also serve as a precedent for future cases. –xenocidic (talk) 18:37, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

Cool
This is user:Tm93. It wasn't too hard to notice that you are a strong christian that lives in America. I am glad to see that at least someone had there head on straight. You can call me T.J. You are baptist and I'm non-denominational. Not much difference in the two. But that doesn't matter. What matters is is that you are christian. That's all I care about. It's cool to see christians taking a stand. Not too many more of us around. I hear that amoung the youth generation there are only 4% actual christians. Drop me a line any time. If you have a question... Ask. If I don't know the answer, I know someone who does; and I will reply to your talk page instead of mine like some users do.Tm93 (talk) 08:25, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

Admin box on your user page
Hi,
I briefly deleted your Simple English Admin userbox, as I evidently can't read and thought you were claiming to be one on en-wiki. However, FYI, please note the "verify" link in the box goes to a link concerning your en-wiki account, not your Simple account. You may want to change it to the right link: [2]; I'd do it myself, but I'm hesitant to keep messing with your stuff. --barneca (talk) 05:29, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Bus ministry
A tag has been placed on Bus ministry requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article consists of a dictionary definition or other article that has been transwikied to another project and the author information recorded.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. SmashvilleBONK! 22:42, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
- Did you type that all out yourself? ;) I replied on the talk page. Thanks — American Eagle (talk) 22:56, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

Good to know you are still here. I thought you retired, as seen on the page. By the way, I was watching Rambo a few days ago, have you seen it? Chimeric Glider (talk) 23:12, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
Fireproof reassessment
I have left a message on the talk page of the article. I have reassessed it as future class until it is released, and if you make the suggestive changes it can be assessed as a start class. Good work so far and let me know if you have any questions. Happy editing! --Nehrams2020 (talk) 05:35, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
Fireproof DYK
Hi there. :-) That'd be a nice thing to try and accomplish. At this point, however, in order for it to be a DYK we'd need to make a fivefold expansion of the article's text within the next 4 or 5 days (since this isn't actually a new article). The article was at about 1450 characters before you began expanding it on Sept. 2 – that would cause the requirement to be at least 7200 characters by the time the article's ready for being DYK nominated at the template talkpage. The character requirement only includes the literal prose of the article, not lists or references, which is why 5x expansions can take some effort.
To get a feel for the process of DYK yourself you can always see the rules or ask me if you're not sure of anything. ;-) I've done some DYKs before, and I'd love to collaborate with this one. It'll take some work adding to the article, but yes it's possible. See ya around! Jamie☆S93 15:40, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
- Hey there, I noticed this discussion on Jamie's talk page. If you would like, I'll be happy to review your DYK nomination once your finished. I'm commonly at DYK. DYK is basically my main work around here, both, reviewing and setting up the next update (which is currently late overdue and there are no admins around <_<). I've also created/expanded about 20 DYKs (see here). So anyway, once your finished, if you would like, I'll gladly review your nomination. :-) Thanks, RyRy (talk) 06:14, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry I couldn't get back to you yesterday American Eagle. I saw the article, and it's coming along – don't worry, you're doing a decent job with it! :) I'm going to go ahead and make those Cast and Crew sections into columned lists, as that's more the norm for film articles. Other than that, I really haven't been doing much work on it. ;)
- And to RyRy: that'd be great, thanks. Jamie☆S93 23:35, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

confusion about speedy
Why did you request speedy deletion of List of Adventures in Odyssey characters as uncontroversial maintenance? If you were planning to propose a merge, then once you had obtained consensus for it, normally the article would remain as a redirect unless the full history was merged. DGG (talk) 22:29, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, I thought someone might get confused over it. I want User:American Eagle/Sandbox5 to be moved into it, but it must be deleted first to merge histories. I was going to ask an administrator to do it for me, but I didn't know who was online and didn't want a useless user talk edit. I couldn't explain it in an edit summary, as I used TW. Sorry about it, could you do it for me now? Thank you, and have a late Merry Christmas. ✼ American Eagle (talk) 02:43, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

Please do not take suggested deletions as personal attacks. I suggest you redact that last sentence in your last posting at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Adventures in Odyssey sagas. First, I don't think it is a personal attack. Second, even were it to be, it is usually much wiser not to say so, because true attacks will become obvious to outsiders. The personal comments on another editor do not help the defense of the article--rather the other way around. DGG (talk) 18:31, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

The results of the questionnaire will be published in next month's newsletter. If you know of any editors who have edited film articles in the past, please invite them to take part in the questionnaire. Please stop by and take a few minutes to answer the questions so that we can continue to improve our project. Happy editing!

Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Paws & Tales, without resolving the problem that the template refers to may be considered vandalism. Further edits of this type may result in your being blocked from editing. HrafnTalkStalk 08:25, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
- I could likewise have tagged AllNight with Jason Smith for complete lack of sourcing (and thus any credible indication of notability). RE : Vision Forum
The article was about a publishing company with some substantial information, and was deleted by proposed deletion. I can restore the article as a contested prod on articlespace, and you work on it from there directly. Would you prefer this option? - Mailer Diablo 08:34, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
