Your recent editing history at Battle of Umberkhind & Battle of Pavan Khind shows that you are currently engaged in an Wikipedia: Vandalism; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. |

Revision as of 04:21, 3 July 2023
Final warning
I warned you about creating articles in mainspace when they don't meet basic standards of English grammar. You deleted my warning and went admin-shopping. Creating non-existent users as a way of trying to get round the review process is a really bad idea and could result in you being blocked for sockpuppetry. Please don't do this again. My advice to you is to use draft space and wait for your articles to pass review. Deb (talk) 07:24, 11 June 2023 (UTC)
- Ok,but i don't understand the mistake that i made. The paragraphs in the articles are taken directly from the source(books and other articles itself) Ajayraj890 (talk) 08:54, 11 June 2023 (UTC)
- Could you please elaborate on
"paragraphs [...] are taken directly from the source"
? Please review WP:COPYRIGHT. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:46, 11 June 2023 (UTC)- In case of Satnami rebellion,I refered books and articles. I used the sentences of books and articles. If the English of the article that I created 'don't meet basic standards of English grammar', it would be the problem of the references. But I don't think that is the case. I don't think this is the way of approaching an 'inexperienced' user by an 'experienced user. He/She haven't given an example of the grammar mistake yet. If He/She provides that, I could make it better. Ajayraj890 (talk) 10:10, 11 June 2023 (UTC)
- I would have to agree that there is quite a lot of room for improvement with your writing. For example, I spotted this in Draft:Satnami Rebellion:
"Agriculture was their main profes the company to a large extent and sion."
That makes no sense, regardless of whether you wrote it yourself or copied it from a source. - ...speaking of which, when you say
"I used the sentences of books and articles"
, do you mean to say you copied them verbatim? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:18, 11 June 2023 (UTC)- Yes. This is what i expected from experienced editors. Thank you for spotting that. And i don't completely copy the source. But in the case of "Agriculture was their main profes the company to a large extent and sion", it was copy-pasted. Not the entire source, but only the paragraph. The reason why it had a grammer mistake is because of the continuity probelm. Ajayraj890 (talk) 10:37, 11 June 2023 (UTC)
- Okay. You do realise you shouldn't be copying anything? Only limited quotations are acceptable, and only when clearly indicated as such, with the source cited. My advice to you would be to go through all your text and rewrite the copied sections entirely in your own words (also avoiding close paraphrasing). -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:59, 11 June 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for your advice. I will do that. I accept my mistake even though i didn't knew that was a mistake. I will rewrite it without losing the actual meaning. Thank you sir. Ajayraj890 (talk) 12:03, 11 June 2023 (UTC)

- Mam/Sir. Could you please highlight the area where the article doesn't appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article? Also, I don't think I made an entry with biased point of view. I have given independent, reliable, published sources. If you think I made a mistake, I hope you highlight that part and if i made a mistake, I apologize for that act. Ajayraj890 (talk) 13:58, 26 June 2023 (UTC)
- Do you understand this phrase: "poor grammar and lack of context"? That is what you need to deal with before submitting the draft for review. If you don't understand what that means, have a look at Wikipedia:Writing better articles. Please post any outstanding questions to Wikipedia:Teahouse, as advised in the editing guidelines. Deb (talk) 15:22, 26 June 2023 (UTC)
- Clearly. But I asked you the portion where in did the mistake. Atleast on example. So that I could understand it better. But you haven't provided anything yet. Ajayraj890 (talk) 02:21, 27 June 2023 (UTC)
- If you can't see that the grammar is bad and that there is no context (which obviously I can't show you because it's absent), then it's likely that many of your articles will be rejected and/or deleted. Please post any outstanding questions to Wikipedia:Teahouse, as advised in the editing guidelines, in accordance with the advice and warnings I've previously given you. Deb (talk) 06:09, 27 June 2023 (UTC)
- Well, I usually creates articles of military conflicts. And you are threatening me by saying that many of my articles will be rejected or deleted. Instead of highlighting the part of where you say the "grammer is bad". And what do you mean by context?. I feel you are making personal attacks. Instead of correcting, you are always complaining. Ajayraj890 (talk) 13:41, 27 June 2023 (UTC)

Unsuitable drafts
I have checked most of the references you cited in Draft:Siege of Tovala, and no of them mentions the siege. Nor have my web searches found any mention of such a siege, anywhere. Please don't create drafts on subjects which cannot be verified to exist at all; if you continue to do so you are likely to be blocked from editing by an administrator. JBW (talk) 15:23, 27 June 2023 (UTC)
- I don't know why you have said this. Which of those references does not mention the siege? It was a military conflict. Of course, you can't see the name 'siege of Tovala' in the references. In most of the military conflicts, the authors of the references doesn't mention the name of the military conflict. In this case, the location was Tovala(now known as Tovalai) and the conflict was a siege. That is why i named it Siege of Tovala. If you read the references you will understand about the siege and I didn't add anything additionally. I have seen such articles in Wikipedia many times. Ajayraj890 (talk) 15:32, 27 June 2023 (UTC)
- I checked the references again. They clearly mentions the siege with location and date. I have given more than 10 resources. I have seen articles that exist even with a single resource.

- In this response alone, you've spelled "grammer" wrong. You've spelled "refered" wrong. You've used lower case for the word "I". If you don't know what "context" means, get a dictionary and look it up. Also read Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Lead section. Don't keep submitting the same articles under different titles, thinking that no one will notice. Articles have to achieve a basic standard and must not be copied verbatim from other sources. If you continue to do this, you are at risk of being blocked. Deb (talk) 12:06, 29 June 2023 (UTC)
- I was typing on mobile. I just typed it too fast. That is why I misspelt here. And I know the meaning of context. I just want to know what you mean by that. Could you give me an article as an example? It would be helpful if you provide an article of a military conflict. I changed the title of the article. If you want to know the reason, check the talk page of user:JBW. Ajayraj890 (talk) 13:56, 29 June 2023 (UTC)

- No. We're not here to do the things you should have done but didn't bother to do. If you know what context means, you shouldn't need to ask - you should be able to see what the problem is. Please read the guidelines. Deb (talk) 14:50, 29 June 2023 (UTC)
