There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}}
on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Sexuality of Adolf Hitler, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Fiasco (TV series) moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Fiasco (TV series), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please review WP:IPCV as well. DonIago (talk) 14:36, 24 February 2022 (UTC)
- You can easily find the actor that portrayed Ferdinand in the movie. It's not a contentious claim. --14Jenna7Caesura (talk) 15:24, 24 February 2022 (UTC)
When adding links to material on external sites, as you did to Free Guy, please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. This is particularly relevant when linking to sites such as YouTube or Sci-Hub, where due care should be taken to avoid linking to material that violates its creator's copyright. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you believe the linked site is not violating copyright with respect to the material, then you should do one of the following:
- If the linked site is the copyright holder, leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page;
- If a note on the linked site credibly claims permission to host the material, or a note on the copyright holder's site grants such permission, leave a note on the article Talk page with a link to where we can find that note;
- If you are the copyright holder or the external site administrator, adjust the linked site to indicate permission as above and leave a note on the article Talk page;
If the material is available on a different site that satisfies one of the above conditions, link to that site instead. Geraldo Perez (talk) 00:35, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
- Movie transcripts are not copyrighted. Please cite your case law in the US, EU, or elsewhere.--14Jenna7Caesura (talk) 00:41, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
- Every recent creative work is copyrighted, movie scripts included. Complete transcripts is also a copyright infringement as it is just a retelling of the original creation. Fair use for commentary is generally permitted. Some sites have been granted a license to host the content. We can link to sites that are not infringing on the copyright, we can't link to sites that are infringing. Geraldo Perez (talk) 01:07, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
- Cite your case law that says it isn't. Also see WP:Close paraphrasing § Substantial similarity for more on the legal aspects of this. Geraldo Perez (talk) 01:21, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
