Welcome to Wikipedia. I have reverted this edit. To justify placement in that category, there would need to be reliably sourced supporting content in the article proper. Rivertorch (talk) 07:15, 18 May 2012 (UTC)

My Apologizes over Lincoln revision
Dear Editor, I am sorry I reverted your Abraham Lincoln category. When my watch list showed it I though it was an addition of a Lincoln car called "Abraham Lincoln" and now I realize it was a category of Abraham Lincoln. You were correct in adding that category because the brand name was named after him by Ford. Again I was in error. Jack --Jackehammond (talk) 16:36, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

edit of Nicolas Sarkozy page
- I think that removing him from Category:French politicians is vandalism. Regards Mascarponette (talk) 20:08, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
- It isn't. It looked strange, but that's how our categorising works! If something is in a specific subcat, it doesn't also need to be in the parent cat. It's not unheard of to have both, but the general goal is to be specific. He's already a member of Category:French Ministers of Budget which is a subcat of Category:Government ministers of France, which is a subcat of Political office-holders in France...which is a subcat of French politicians. He also added a navbox
{{Finance Ministers of France}}
, which seems reasonable to me, and a navbox on a similar body he's eligible for. --92.6.202.54 (talk) 15:37, 1 June 2012 (UTC)

- This is your last warning. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to John Prescott. Jim1138 (talk) 08:33, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
- How is that vandalism? It does not fall within our scope of what vandalism is, and seems constructive or at least a good-faith edit to me. That edit added a navbox about the newspaper hacking affair, Prescott was a very high-profile victim and got a £40,000 compensation payout;[1] and two categories at least one of which makes sense in line with the article. I mean you could query the other atheism one under BLPCAT I guess but it's not as if he warred it in and google suggests he's strongly supported atheism-related policies. --92.6.202.54 (talk) 15:37, 1 June 2012 (UTC)

A lot of them are inaccurate and unnecessary. I know you edit over at simple English wikipedia. The liberalism template for example where you added the list of presidents to them is 100% inaccurate. They are a list of people who contributed to the ideas of liberalism. Presidents rarely do so they are not included. The most prominent example of a president who contributed to liberal ideas is Thomas Jefferson but that's probably the only one as far as I know. You can stick to Australian politics since your IP address originates from there but other than that, I will keep a close attention on your edits and revert them as necessary.
