The correct date in Mongol conquest of the Khwarazmian Empire is 1256 don't learn me my country's history. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amirfataei (talk • contribs) 14:28, 26 June 2022 (UTC)
- Amirfataei, I am not quite sure what you possibly mean by saying "don't learn me...", but I'd simply go on and make my humble comment on the reason why I reverted your contribution. As HistoryofIran rightly noted in his edit summary after what he had reverted your contribution (again), the above-mentioned article is not as straightforward as it may seem regarding what part of history it tries to portray. To clear the air, the best of both worlds would probably be taking the issue to the article's talk page. --VisioncurveTimendi causa est nescire 06:27, 27 June 2022 (UTC)

My latest contribution
Poetry of Babur
Babur was an acclaimed writer, who had a profound love for literature. His library was one of his most beloved possessions that he always carried around with him, and books were one of the treasures he searched for in new conquered lands. In his memoirs, when he listed sovereigns and nobles of a conquered land, he also mentioned poets, musicians and other educated people.[1]
During his 47-year life, Babur left a rich literary and scientific heritage. He is the author of the world-famous Bāburnāma, as well as beautiful lyrical works or ghazals, treatises on Muslim jurisprudence (Mubayyin), poetics (Aruz risolasi), music, and a special calligraphy, known as khatt-i Baburi.[2][3][4][5] Continue reading it here.

Beverly Hills Cop
Hello, appreciate your rescission of my edit if the format was not correct.
The story I posted is a true story that I think adds something to the page. However would be difficult to substantiate.
Any tips on how it should be posted here? My father was an actual Detroit cop when the film was being made, and that is the actual origin story for the character's name. In the real example, Zig did not grant them usage of his name, hence the different spelling of Bogumil VS Bogomil Dpolancih (talk) 15:13, 13 August 2022 (UTC)
- Dpolancih, hi. Your addition to the Beverly Hills Cop article actually had three problems, one of which begged for immediate attention. While it was surely a good faith edit, the first and foremost problem was that you added your paragraph to the wrong part of the page, after the reference list, which is not appropriate. There are a couple of useful suggestions in WP:MOS that you may want to familiarize yourself with before you proceed editing Wikipedia. Also, your addition was not backed by reliable sources. According to WP:VER, all material in Wikipedia mainspace, including everything in articles, lists, and captions, must be verifiable. Wikipedia does not publish original research. Its content is determined by previously published information rather than the beliefs or experiences of editors. Even if you are sure something is true, it must be verifiable before you can add it. Lastly, and unfortunately, your paragraph was written poorly with several grammatical errors, and therefore it was, coupled with reasons mentioned above, deemed as unconstructive. Take care! Hello @Visioncurve, I have noticed your edits on Babur's poetry (it's kinda late, yeah) and they are great! Section looks amazing in terms of both style and significance of information. Thank you for your contributions on developing the Wikipedia. BerkBerk68 02:20, 17 August 2022 (UTC)

- Doesn't matter. According to WP:VER, all material in Wikipedia mainspace, including everything in articles, lists, and captions, must be verifiable. Even if you are sure something is true, it must be verifiable before you can add it.WP:RS also states that articles should be based on reliable, independent, published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy. - Following an RfC, consensus was found that if the rationale for a block depends on information that is not available to all administrators, that information should be sent to the Arbitration Committee, a checkuser or an oversighter for action (as applicable, per ArbCom's recent updated guidance) instead of the administrator making the block.
- Following an RfC, consensus has been found that, in the context of politics and science, the reliability of FoxNews.com is unclear and that additional considerations apply to its use.
- Community comment on the revised Universal Code of Conduct enforcement guidelines is requested until 8 October.
- The Articles for creation helper script now automatically recognises administrator accounts which means your name does not need to be listed at WP:AFCP to help out. If you wish to help out at AFC, enable AFCH by navigating to Preferences → Gadgets and checking the "Yet Another AfC Helper Script" box.
- Remedy 8.1 of the Muhammad images case will be rescinded 1 November following a motion.
- A modification to the deletion RfC remedy in the Conduct in deletion-related editing case has been made to reaffirm the independence of the RfC and allow the moderators to split the RfC in two.
- The second phase of the 2021-22 Discretionary Sanctions Review closes 3 October.
- An administrator's account was recently compromised. Administrators are encouraged to check that their passwords are secure, and reminded that ArbCom reserves the right to not restore adminship in cases of poor account security. You can also use two-factor authentication (2FA) to provide an extra level of security.
- Self-nominations for the electoral commission for the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections open 2 October and close 8 October.
- You are invited to comment on candidates in the 2022 CUOS appointments process.
- An RfC is open to discuss whether to make Vector 2022 the default skin on desktop.

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message
Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:35, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
Administrators' newsletter – December 2022
News and updates for administrators from the past month (November 2022).
- Consensus has been found in an RfC to automatically place RfAs on hold after one week.
- The article creation at scale RfC has been closed.
- An RfC on the banners for the December 2022 fundraising campaign has been closed.
- A new preference named "Enable limited width mode" has been added to the Vector 2022 skin. The preference is also shown as a toggle on every page if your monitor is 1600 pixels or wider. When disabled it removes the whitespace added by Vector 2022 on the left and right of the page content. Disabling this preference has the same effect as enabling the wide-vector-2022 gadget. (T319449)
- Eligible users are invited to vote on candidates for the Arbitration Committee until 23:59 December 12, 2022 (UTC). Candidate statements can be seen here.
- The proposed decision for the 2021-22 review of the discretionary sanctions system is open.
- The arbitration case Reversal and reinstatement of Athaenara's block has been closed.
- The arbitration case Stephen has been opened and the proposed decision is expected 1 December 2022.
- A motion has modified the procedures for contacting an admin facing Level 2 desysop.
- Tech tip: A single IPv6 connection usually has access to a "subnet" of 18 quintillion IPs. Add
/64
to the end of an IP in Special:Contributions to see all of a subnet's edits, and consider blocking the whole subnet rather than an IP that may change within a minute.

Guild of Copy Editors December 2022 Newsletter
Guild of Copy Editors December 2022 Newsletter
Hello and welcome to our latest newsletter, a quarterly digest of Guild activities since October. Don't forget you can unsubscribe at any time; see below. Blitz: Our October Copy Editing Blitz focused on July and August 2022 request months; and articles tagged for c/e in December 2021 and January 2022. Seventeen of those who signed up claimed at least one copy-edit, and between them copy-edited forty-six articles. Barnstars awarded are here. Drive: In the November Backlog Elimination Drive, thirty editors signed up, twenty-two of whom claimed at least one copy-edit. Both target months—December 2021 and January 2022—were cleared, and February was added to the target months. Sixteen requests were copy-edited and 239 articles were removed from the backlog. Barnstars awarded are here. Blitz: Our seven-day-long December 2022 Copy Editing Blitz begins on 17 December at 00:01 (UTC)*. It will focus on articles tagged for copy-edit in February 2022, and pending requests from September and October. Barnstars awarded will be available here. Progress report: As of 22:40, 8 December 2022, GOCE copyeditors have processed 357 requests since 1 January, there were seventy-four requests outstanding and the backlog stands at 1,791 articles. We always need skilled copy-editors; please help out if you can. Election news: Nomination of candidates for the GOCE's Election of Coordinators for the first half of 2023 is open and continues until 23:59 on 15 December. Voting begins at 00:01 on 16 December and closes at 23:59 on 31 December. All editors in good standing (not under ArbCom or community sanctions) are eligible and self-nominations are welcomed. Coordinators serve a six-month term that ends at 23:59 on June 30. If you've thought about helping out at the Guild, please nominate yourself or any editor you consider suitable—with their permission, of course!. It's your Guild and it doesn't coordinate itself. Thank you all again for your participation; we wouldn't be able to achieve what we have without you! Cheers and best seasonal wishes from your GOCE coordinators, Baffle gab1978, Dhtwiki, Miniapolis, Tenryuu, and Zippybonzo. *All times and dates on this newsletter are UTC.

Guild of Copy Editors December 2022 Newsletter error
The GOCE December 2022 newsletter, as sent on 9 December, contains an erroneous start date for our December Blitz. The Blitz will start on 11 December rather than on 17 December, as stated in the newsletter. I'm sorry for the mistake and for disrupting your talk page; thanks for your understanding. Tuqaq - towards another GA
I spotted your improvements to Tuqaq; will go through them, as time permits. I hope that you have rectified the particular errors, that I had raised in the delisting process. Regards, TrangaBellam (talk) 07:48, 19 December 2022 (UTC)
- And, might I suggest that any improvements to Magtymguly Pyragy is an exercise in futility? Simply put, there does not exist enough reliable sources to write an encyclopedic biography of the subject. TrangaBellam (talk) 07:53, 19 December 2022 (UTC)
- Please stop editing Tuqaq. Thanks, TrangaBellam (talk) 09:21, 19 December 2022 (UTC)
- With regard to latest content added to improve the Magtymguly page, I believe, at the end of the day, there are set norms and standards at WP:RS to which we can refer and further be guided. I hope we will go through that together later, of course if your time permits. As for the article about Tuqaq, from where I'm standing it seems that your last statement comes close to being an expression of ownership behavior (I hope I'm wrong). Nonetheless, I'm open for cooperation and as we speak, I expect you to finish your GA re-assessment of the "Turkomans" page first, since by starting a review you have committed to complete it in a timely manner. Regards, VisioncurveTimendi causa est nescire 10:30, 19 December 2022 (UTC)
- There is no deadline. Please address my queries at Talk:Tuqaq. TrangaBellam (talk) 12:57, 19 December 2022 (UTC)
- And at Talk:Treaty of Akhal. You will keep writing nonsense, I will keep pointing the errors, you won't learn anything ... TrangaBellam (talk) 14:43, 19 December 2022 (UTC)
- That was it, I'm having you reported for misconduct now. If you did your homework first, you would've found out that those "nonsense" sentences (you defined which at the article's talk page -
Iran was unable to mount much of a defense, and Geok Tepe fell shortly.
The immobilized Naser al-Din Shah Qajar was compelled to accept nominal defeat...
- - were both actually added by you - 1. You added that baloney yourself many months ago to come later during the year and accuse me in order to discredit me? Your villainy doesn't know any boundaries.
- I'm tired of your constant accusations, misbehavior and bias towards me which can be construed as a personal attack. I will also have to ask for another GA reviewer for Turkomans page, based on all this. I don't see a way how we two can work together from now on. VisioncurveTimendi causa est nescire 05:20, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
- Report me wherever you please. Shall we take a look at the article history?
- Version 0 - ed. VisionCurve - 11 June 2021
Hence forces led by Generals Mikhail Skobelev, Ivan Lazarev, and Konstantin Kaufman spearheaded the campaign, with Iran unable to react. The immobilized Naser al-Din Shah Qajar sent foreign secretary Mirza Saeed Khan Ansari to meet Ivan Zinoviev and sign a treaty in Tehran. [Unsourced]
- Version 1 - ed. TrangaBellam - 13 October 2021
Iran was unable to mount much of a defense, and Geok Tepe fell shortly. The immobilized Naser al-Din Shah Qajar was compelled to accept nominal defeat, and sent foreign secretary Mirza Saeed Khan Ansari to meet Ivan Zinoviev and sign a treaty in Tehran.[Unsourced]
- Note carefully that I rewrote the unsourced content without changing its meaning and did not tamper with existing citations. I (and others) do often engage in copy-edits of unsourced content.
- Version 2 - ed. VisionCurve - 19 December 2022
Iran was unable to mount much of a defense, and Geok Tepe fell shortly. The immobilized Naser al-Din Shah Qajar was compelled to accept nominal defeat, and sent foreign secretary Mirza Saeed Khan Ansari to meet Ivan Zinoviev and sign a treaty in Tehran.[Source]
- It was your edit that gave the (demonstrably false) impression of the content being sourced. But I was mistaken in assuming that it was you who had incorporated it; it is in the article since creation:
Forces led by Generals Scoblev, Lazarov, and Kaufman spearheaded the campaign, with Persia unable to react. The immobilized Nasereddin Shah sent foreign secretary Mirza Sa'eed Khan Mo'tamen ol-Mulk to meet Ivan Zinoviev and sign a treaty in Tehran.
- Your appending of a citation to obviously inaccurate content was shabby but you deserve an apology for my mistaken assumption. TrangaBellam (talk) 15:10, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
- I am tired of your "assumptions" really; I am tired of blocks of messages about the content of certain articles where you simultaneously employ mocking statements (you keep writing nonsense.., you won't learn anything..,, The OP exhibits a IDHT attitude and is unaware of where his competencies lie , with a sole intent to confront or inhibit my work, your unacceptable "no-edit orders" and false accusations like the one above distantly resemble wikibullying and wikihounding (like following me from place-to-place on Wikipedia, and reviewing my user's contributions; I'm talking about the Akhal treaty where you placed as blame on me for inaccurate claims whereas these were your own contributions to the page).
- I hope you recall my messages at your talk page where I apologized for my initial, frustrating response to your previous GA reassessment work and even praised your past remarks (1) as I tried to implement your and later Gazozlu's notes as I agreed with them. However, with regard to Turkomans page, you keep buying time and it's been already 5 month since you committed to conduct the GA reassessment of that page. I posted my request for your further notes three times (1, 2, 3), but you responded to them by your laconic "Noted" and that there was no deadline.
- Moreover, I have not nominated my other two failed GAs (Magtymguly, Tuqaq) for GA reassessment, the page on Tuqaq is not a finished article yet. But you continue to exhibit the patterns of behavior with arrogance, ridicule and satire (1), which makes me believe you are singling me out to create irritation, annoyance, and distress. VisioncurveTimendi causa est nescire
- Given your history of misrepresenting sources and writing inaccurate content, I will keep a tab over your editorial activities and note misusage of sources etc. at the t/p. I do note that nobody, including two experienced administrators, agreed with whatever you proposed at Talk:Babur#Verse from Babur's poetry. Both of them accused you of edit-warring, giving flippant replies, and engaging in OR but to you, the concerning part was bullying on my part to discuss your antecedents with the administrator. I will let Yamla take a look. TrangaBellam (talk) 15:34, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
