Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. :Ah! The book appears to be The army of the Indian Moghuls: its organization and administration by William Irvine: http://www.archive.org/details/armyofindianmogh00irvirich -- it was published in 1903, which makes it out of copyright in the U.S., and meets Wikipedia's copyright rules, so there's no problem, and you can ignore my comments above. File copyright problem with File:Chanakya1.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:Chanakya1.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Fut.Perf. ☼ 11:34, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
- Hello. I'm afraid I must ask you to stop uploading images. I just want through your uploads both here on en-wiki and on commons, and they were all faulty. You just cannot upload images here that you did not create yourself and whose precise authorship and age you don't know. Please don't upload anything that you simply found somewhere on other people's blogs or websites. Typically, such images not only have a bad copyright status, but are also poor quality and useless for the encyclopedia. Fut.Perf. ☼ 11:37, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
