at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to this (your talk) page, and a timestamp.
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please make sure to include an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! Brianhe (talk) 18:11, 22 February 2013 (UTC)
VisualEditor
Thank you so much for trying out the new VisualEditor! The transition can be a little challenging to those of us who know something about Wiki markup already. :) If you insert some of the familiar Wikimarkup code (like [[]] or {{}}), the VisualEditor thinks you are trying to type these things and puts "<nowiki>" tags around it. To actually achieve the same effects, you just need to use the link, template and other icons in the VisualEditor itself. (For more detail, please see Wikipedia:VisualEditor/User guide and the Wikipedia:VisualEditor/FAQ.)
If you have feedback about your experience or encounter anything that looks like a bug, please let us know at Wikipedia:VisualEditor/Feedback. Thanks! --Maggie Dennis (WMF) (talk) 14:41, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for October 11
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Nir Barkat, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Labor Party (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Capital punishment, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Skarz (talk) 22:36, 24 December 2013 (UTC)

WP:ARBPIA discretionary sanctions short-term topic restriction
- As an uninvolved administrator, I believe you are demonstrating a behavioral problem that justifies imposing a short term arbitration enforcement editing restriction on you.
- On the Talk:Israel#Palestinian_state thread and your WP:AN discussion complaining about Sean Hoyland, you clearly show that you are rejecting the possibility that other editors have reasonable positions and that a view on the borders situation other than yours could hold any validity. You are doing this reasonably politely, but extremely persistently, and have been warned twice by others about the WP:ARBPIA arbitration case findings and its authorizations of sanctions on the topic area.
- In my opinion, as an uninvolved administrator, you are disrupting the Talk:Israel#Palestinian_state thread and the talk page there, politely but firmly. Disruption does not need to be rude to be disruptive.
- I am imposing a one-week topic ban on you editing the Israel article and its talk page. This is an arbitration enforcement action and other admins are cautioned to follow the specified procedures if you wish to intervene or overturn.
- Precision123, it is my hope that you will reflect on Wikipedia's editing goals and core values, including neutral point of view (WP:NPOV) in articles, that our editors should edit constructively, collegially, and collaboratively (WP:CIVIL), and that Wikipedia is not just an encyclopedia anyone can edit, but it is an encyclopedia that everyone edits together.
- This restriction takes effect immediately.
