- User:Anna Frodesiak.....thank you very much for the invite...but I will have to decline. As someone who now contributes alot to our policies and other admin pages I think it's best I stay above the fray of being an admin. I have been here a very very long time and think it's best if I am interpreting community consensus.... that I not be involved in daily implementation of thoses policies. I also think its best the next generation of Wikipedians police themselves. That said there are some tools I would like to use.....but not so much so that I would take on the burden of being an admin. Again thanks for thinking of me.--Moxy (talk) 03:15, 14 April 2017 (UTC)
Interactive maps
Please stop mass-reverting my changes to the countries. Obviously you do not consider the fact that the maps are useful and it seems you only revert these because "you do not like the maps". The RfC is not clear for mass removal at all!--Kozuch (talk) 17:49, 4 August 2019 (UTC)

At the Armenia MfD, you mentioned something about a user being out to lunch, etc. Another user has stated that your comment is about me, but it appears that you are actually referring to another person. Perhaps you should clarify who you are referring to, to prevent things from being taken out of context, if my hunch is correct. I sure would appreciate it. Croatia
Hallo. My editing from yesterday was extremely minimalistic. You made huge changes on Croatia page today but now page has very little or no visual details required. As a rule, one or two pictures should always follow the text of the page, and usually on the right side depends of the picture or simply e.g. some map. You have also almost completely deleted the data for Croatian counties with no reason and left just data for 3 counties. I suppose that wasn′t your intention. However, ok. Nice day.--DerTorx (talk) 09:58, 10 August 2019 (UTC)

"Normandy Landings" and "Operation Overlord" edit+ "WP:Burden" ?
Hello Moxy,
I'm writing to you with regards to the recent message that you wrote to me about "WP:Burden". In my recent edit on the pages "Normandy Landings" and "Operation Overlord", you undid my revision with the explanation being "Pls read over WP:Burden". As you see, I added sources that I used on my recent edit on both pages to verify my material. However, in you recent message to me, you wrote that "Will give you a day to comply with WP:Burden". I'm not sure I understand what you mean- I added the sources already, so what's the problem. Since I'm relatively knew to Wikipedia, can you explain to me what I have to do when you say I have to comply with WP:Burden. Do I have to press a certain button or something?Tai3chinirv7ana (talk) 15:09, 31 August 2019 (UTC)

Wikipedia books
Wikipedia Books are still a live function. The Book Creator remains a necessary tool for preparing books to upload to external services such as PediaPress print-on-demand and the MediaWiki2LaTeX PDF softcopy renderer. - I now see that you started the village pump discussion on 6 August but only in the last few hours posted a notice of the fait accompli on the affected template and its talk page. During the intervening period I and others discussed and implemented updates to the template, but I for one was never made aware of your proposal. Your behaviour has been in gross breach of protocol, as I am sure you are by now uncomfortably aware. I would have expected you to know better. With due respect, WTF? — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 19:23, 1 September 2019 (UTC)

Matthias Church
Hi, I improved my previous edition (almost all translated from the Hungarian wikipedia's homonimous article) of the Matthias Church of Budapest article. beside I added a lot of reliable sources, mostly of Hungarian language. I wait to you check it, it's already posted in the article. Also I delete the dead links that are still placed in the prevous edition of the article.--BrugesFR (talk) 14:54, 2 September 2019 (UTC)

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise? I thought not.
It’s not a story the Jedi would tell you. It’s a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life…
He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did.
Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.107.81.133 (talk) 17:51, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
The file File:Stompin tom connors in 2002 crop.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

Your OpenStreetMap comment at Village pump (proposals)
Your comment of 14:00, 4 August 2019, at Wikipedia:Village pump (proposals)#OpenStreetMap, originally in WP:Village pump (miscellaneous)#OpenStreetMap and moved by Alsee, had a Links in links lint error caused by Wikilinks in an external link. I assumed that where you had a right parenthesis ()

Architecture of Valencia
Hello, about your edition in Valencia, I don't think 15 images of unique buildings of Valencia are "excessive" if they're under the paragraph 'Architecture of Valencia' since the best way to show the architecture of a place is with photos/videos, I understand your position but Valencia has dozens and dozens of unique buildings with very different styles of architecture, mixed styles of architecture and lots of influences from many cultures, as well as very modern "futuristic" looking architecture like the Oceanogràfic so I think 15 pictures are enough to show a good part of this, since actually there are dozens if not hundreds of unique buildings but it's basically resumed in 15 photos. There isn't a separate page called Architecture of Valencia. Also, they're relevant and useful images, unlike the examples shown in the page Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Images#Pertinence_and_encyclopedic_nature which is one of the examples shown in that small infobox you have inserted.
The images were there from a lot of time ago, until a Wiki user removed them yesterday for no reason. For any important removal like this one a consensus should be reached. Thanks! --TechnicianGB (talk) 02:41, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
@Moxy: I am sorry, I was looking at your contributions and I have clicked accidentally on the rollback undo option on your edition in the National symbols of Canada page. Of course I've undone my changes within seconds after doing it, the rollback tool makes the changes without asking for confirmation, that's why the changes were made, my bad. Again, sorry about that! --TechnicianGB (talk) 02:48, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
- It's very excessive causing undue weight to the article section as per WP:Undue and WP:Gallery (gives the impression that building are most important thing). Why can't the section be like every other section....why do images of buildings need to be so prominent and have their own section over being incorporated into the article like everything else? Would make sense on the article about architecture.--Moxy 🍁 02:50, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
Ok, please don't remove these images, right now I don't have too much time to do it but soon I will create separate pages about the architecture of both Valencia and Barcelona where I will put the galleries. Both cities have got a massive history with lots of influences on their back which is clearly shown in their architecture, so a separate article sounds more than right for them. Notice that, I didn't even insert these galleries but they were there from a lot of time ago, I just disagreed with the user which deleted them without arriving to any consensus, so I have added them back, well not completely, I didn't add some images, just to make it "cleaner" so the images won't be occupying more than 2 different paragraphs. But still, your position seems okay to me and I will do what I said before soon, during the next week most likely. And hey, sorry about that undo in the Canada page, I didn't do it on purpose, I clicked there accidentally with the rollback tool. --TechnicianGB (talk) 02:56, 14 September 2019 (UTC)

I'm going to need your help on the sockpuppet case, please help me
I'm really confused and don't know what to do. I hope you will help report the sockpuppet case because I'm confused with what I should do, even if i try to follow instruction I still be confuse so please help me. The information is below here. Both User talk:Feinoa and User talk:Lightsabr, Feinoa timing on 14 September 2019 are both 03:28,[1] 03:25[2], Lightsabr timing both at 03:39[3], 03:42[4] the difference of timing in their editing is way too short.
Also another thing that exposes both Feinoa and Lightsarb, not only do both 90% of their wikipedia edits entirely focuses on Singapore.
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=World_Competitiveness_Yearbook&action=history
Both of their wikipedia edits also intentionally removes every data that puts Hong Kong above Singapore in the world competitive year book history.
Lightsarb, just putting a 2019 year book and removing all the years from 1997 to 2019, avoiding showing Hong Kong on top [5]
Feinoa, does a similar thing by conveniently removing the 2012, 2015, 2016 edits that again avoid showing Hong Kong above Singapore [6]
I'm now even more 100% sure. More info added on both Feinoa and Lightsarb are also the only ones that reverts edits and defend the lead section of Singapore [7]. Lightsarb reverted the edits of admins/or wiki editors User:Moxy who removed the all unnecessaryfluff in lead section of Singapore [8] and Feinoa also reverted mine [9] who I also removed the leading section of all that unnecessary fluff , both also seems to the only one defending it on this Singapore talk page. There's way too many coincidence fort it not be the same person DerekHistorian (talk) 8:12 15 September 2019 (UTC)
No offense meant on Portal:Culture
I was trying to respond to a comment in a Portal deletion discussion which criticized the Multiculturalism in Canada's appearance/stability. Should I bring this change up there? What do you think? The charge was that the portal was abandoned, but clearly you haven't abandoned it. --Ancheta Wis (talk | contribs) 15:27, 15 September 2019 (UTC)
- I have no problem with a change.... but I have no clue what the article had to do with culture. As for portal being abandoned.....it's not as with most being deleted..... content editors just don't care about the conflict at the board. Best the deletion Squad stays on Portals instead of coming to content pages..... many new articles have been saved because they never made it there because they're busy with portals.--Moxy 🍁 15:34, 15 September 2019 (UTC)
I need you help and if you please can enter to the discussion, User:Klačko is constantly vandalizing the page deleting some data from the Serbian government that he doesn't like. please I need your mediation. thank you.--BrugesFR (talk) 03:06, 16 September 2019 (UTC)
- I am not vandalizing the page, quite contrary. Edits made by BrugesFr are making article Demographics of Serbia unreadable, repeating the data already shown in the article. We have the official census figures and figures from the national statistics institute in the article and above mentioned user is constantly putting CIA figures which are mostly estimates, not to mention almost all that data (e.g. literacy) is already shown in infobox or throughout the article and there is no need for repeated showing in separate subsection. Moreover, in last editing I left part of the BrugesFr's edit which has data that we did not have in the article before (such as marriage/divorce data). BrugesFR should stop pushing like that and should try to maybe reach consensus on TP instead. Regards, Klačko (talk) 08:47, 16 September 2019 (UTC)

Please preserve comment order
Hi! You have placed a comment out of order at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Portals, so I had to move it to the appropriate location. Your comment must always be placed last within an indentation context. For example, given the following comment structure
- Comment 1. 17:00.
- Comment 2. 17:30.
- Comment 3. 18:00.
- Comment 2. 17:30.
you can place your comment after Comment 1, or you can answer Comment 1, Comment 2, or Comment 3. Suppose you want to answer Comment 1, then you have to do the following:
- Comment 1. 17:00.
- Comment 2. 17:30.
- Comment 3. 18:00.
- Moxy's comment. 18:30.
- Comment 2. 17:30.
You can't "cut in line" before Comment 2. Thanks. — UnladenSwallow (talk) 06:42, 14 October 2019 (UTC)
- @UnladenSwallow: That's not really how it works here - its why we have indents and time stamps. Best not say this to others as it indicates inexperiences and is misleading ....pls review WP:THREAD. That all said I dont realy care in this cases but other may not be so accepting as per WP:TALKO. PS welcome to the project....ever have a question just ask.--Moxy 🍁 07:10, 14 October 2019 (UTC)
- Dear Moxy, I'm sorry, but you're wrong. You have to review WP:THREAD yourself. You can't go two levels deeper and insert a comment before someone else's comment that was left earlier than yours. WP:THREAD says:
Each comment should be indented one more level than the comment it replies to, which may or may not be the preceding comment.
For example, if you want to answer Comment 1, you can't do this:
- Comment 1. 17:00.
- Moxy's comment. 18:00.
- Comment 2. 17:30.
- Comment 1. 17:00.
- Dear Moxy, I'm sorry, but you're wrong. You have to review WP:THREAD yourself. You can't go two levels deeper and insert a comment before someone else's comment that was left earlier than yours. WP:THREAD says:
- You have to do this:
- Comment 1. 17:00.
- Comment 2. 17:30.
- Moxy's comment. 18:00.
- Comment 1. 17:00.
- You have to do this:
- Of course, it's okay to do this:
- Comment 1. 17:00.
- Comment 2. 17:30.
- Moxy's comment. 18:30.
- Comment 3. 18:00.
- Comment 2. 17:30.
- Comment 1. 17:00.
- Of course, it's okay to do this:
- But that's a different situation. You can do this because you're answering Comment 2, which has no answers, so you indent by one level and insert your comment. In the earlier example, there's already one answer to Comment 1, so you have to place your answer to Comment 1 after that one.
- I saw that you didn't understand this nuance, which is why I came here to explain it to you. Sometimes even experienced users like yourself make mistakes or are unaware of some subtle rules—that's okay.
- WP:TALKO allows me to fix comment indentation, sign unsigned comments, restore proper comment order, and do some other things. There is no requirement to notify other users whose comments I modify under these rules. I have notified you out of politeness and to make sure you understand the rule.
- Thank you for welcoming me to Wikipedia and offering your help! Just for your information, I have been making sporadic edits to Wikipedia anonymously for over 10 years, so I'm not a complete novice. But I now intend to edit in a more systematic fashion, so I'm grateful for your kind offer of help! Thanks. — UnladenSwallow (talk) 08:17, 14 October 2019 (UTC)

Hello
(The short stick was drawn for you) I am trying to improve Nepal, mostly consulting India. I am currently at #Economy and am stumped and stuck. The India#Economy says However, the country ranks 140th in the world in nominal GDP per capita and 129th in GDP per capita at PPP.
However, I do not get how/where the cited source verifies the given information. Also don't get how to navigate/query to get there for a given country. I'd rather you tell me how to do it if you have the time, then generate it for Nepal, but in either case I need to be explained to as to a little child how it tells us the current ranking of the country. Really hoping you have the time. Usedtobecool TALK ✨ 14:12, 15 October 2019 (UTC)

So, I don't get how the accusation that I'm coordinating with another user came from. I've disagreed with Mikkel multiple times. I'm just busy right now. I look at the edits when I can and I edited something almost a week ago when I had free time. But, he's my brother. For future reference - what was the issue with the images I added yesterday? They were more pertinent to the content of there article than what's currently on the page, and they're already in the Wiki gallery, as they exist on other Wiki pages, so perplexed as to why they were taken down.

I saw that you used some kind of tool or script to fill in bare refs at User:Castncoot/List of self-identified LGBTQ New Yorkers earlier. Any chance you could take a few minutes to do so again as soon as possible? It will make it a lot easier for me to check the references, since most of the refs are bare now. It will also, obviously, make things look better if and when a transfer to mainspace occurs.
Thanks very much for your help. Risker (talk) 23:30, 24 October 2019 (UTC)
Get information!
Hello,
whats your problem? Use your search engine to get information about Bill Gates! He joined Youtube in 2012, he has 446 uploads, he has 1,21 million subscribers, his newest video shows the gold play button which he got! That he uploads rarely is not a reason! That's called "Youtuber" and a Youtuber is a "content creator" (social media). Please, explain me why the infobox useless is?
Jicco123 (talk) 18:57, 27 October 2019 (UTC)
junk info? Then explain me why that's a junk info.
Jicco123 (talk) 19:26, 27 October 2019 (UTC)
OK will explain....the WP:Lead of an article is to simply regurgitate stuff that is covered in the body of the article. YouTube in not mentioned in the article because he's not a social media icon or affiliated with YouTube in any way....thus it's disproportionate to add a huge box about non important data to the lead of the article. Again if you wish to pursue the matter....pls go to the talk page.--Moxy 🍁 19:33, 27 October 2019 (UTC)

"he's not a social media icon or affiliated with YouTube"
You decide that? He is a "content creator" on Youtube. The content creators call themselves "Youtuber". Bill Gates is in the category. He isn't so famous like PewDiePie but he creates content on Youtube! And I could bet that you don't know many people on Youtube. Are that also no "icons"?

Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!
Hello,
Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.
I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!
From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.
If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.
Thank you!

I too want to ask you to come back to the discussion, you have already contributed great ideas. But I can also understand it if you want to avoid interacting with BHG while the Arbitration process is ongoing. The way she entered the discussion was certainly not encouraging. I am probably asking too much, but maybe you could continue contributing ideas while ignoring her replies. I am sure everyone would understand. --Hecato (talk) 19:35, 25 November 2019 (UTC)
Joan Crawford Birth year
Bryan Johnson has over 20 years researching Joan Crawford and you will find in this link [1] supporting 1906 and separate pages debunking 1904 and 1905 with all the documentation including census and birth records of Hal and much more that has already been cited for the Wikipedia article. --Peliasadventure87 25 November 2019 (UTC)
- Junk source....fact is that there is no birth records at that time and the census does not say what this amateur say it says. See first section of this page and all the sources in the article. No one says 1906 for 30 years.--Moxy 🍁 21:25, 25 November 2019 (UTC)

Hello, you deleted my additions to the Indigenous Peoples in Canada article. I did not copy and paste anything out of a textbook, I simply used it as a source for information to improve the information already on the page. I and am not understanding why my edits have been removed. Nothing was copy and pasted from a textbook. I also find it strange that the information I provided was factual and there are many "facts" on that page that are not facts what so ever. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mackenzierobinson (talk • contribs) 03:25, 6 December 2019 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:All lists lacking sources
A tag has been placed on Category:All lists lacking sources requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Women in Red
Hi there, Moxy. In connection with the current discussions on the way to go forward with WikiProject Council, I looked up the list of articles you have created and was interested to see several on gender equality in the countries of Africa as well as at least one women's biography. Given your interest in the indigenous peoples of Canada and in geography in general, your interests and experience seem to offer potential. I realize you consider yourself to be a member of all wikiprojects but I just wondered whether it might not be useful for you to become an "official" member of Women in Red. No obligation of course.
