There is an existing content-dispute on Nair article between me and User:Sitush on the phraseology of a lead sentence. 9 NPOVs provided by me for not acceptable to him , yet adhering to wikipedia guidelines I made no effort to edit the sentence while the consensus-talk was going on. Inspite of the User: Qwyrxian /QW (administrator) makes an wnwarranted threat ''“Should you edit the article to follow one of your alternatives, we'll revert you”'' – See [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk%3ANair&diff=499010343&oldid=498996286 here ]. I explained to User:QW- if that was my intention, I would have not be discussing-consensus in the talk-page in the first place and that his comments were unwarranted. In between, User: Sitush suggested an NPOV of adding an (s) to a word- That was not acceptable to me. So the consensus building had failed. Inspite of this, User:Sitush went ahead and made the addition of (s) without consensus-generation. UserQW (administrator) does not object to it. Assuming good faith, I was willing to ignore this silence and unwarranted edit and hence asked User:Sitush to revert his edit and to generate “collective-editorial consensus” before doing so. It was requested to the Users that consensus in Nair article needs to be a “collective-editor consensus” and not UserQW-UserSitush consensus as that is inappropriate. HI i recently made proposed an edit on cannibis(drug) page. you said we need to remain neutral? I'm confused at what you mean its been proven that marijuana can cause depersonalization. people need to understand that so more do not suffer. if you are a pot enthusiast yourself please do not let your personal opinions override rational ones. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.81.135.211 (talk) 06:51, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- I am not questioning the fact it causes depression, but we can't say this outright. And I don't take drugs, as you ave tried to infer from your comment. Mdann52 (talk) 12:40, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
Disruptive editing and promoting by users 76.175.157.240 and James Mojo
Thanks for warning those two user accounts (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:76.175.157.240 and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:James_mojo) - apparently they are the same person - about his/their disruptive editing and promoting on the Tim Dog. They keep typing a URL (diaryofahollywoodstreetking.com) into articles to promote the blog of Jacky Jasper. The URL currenlty appears two times on the Jacky Jasper article. James Mojo was also warned about this promoting violation in 2011, as you will see on his Talk Page. Why is he allowed to continue editing when he keeps doing this after being warned? Thanks for your help on this? 76.189.101.150 (talk) 22:26, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Jacky Jasper
Hello Mdann52. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Jacky Jasper, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: article contains multiple assertions of importance. If you believe the subject not to be notable, please use WP:AFD instead. Thank you. SoWhy 10:23, 18 June 2012 (UTC)
Your edits on Jacky Jasper
I saw the edits you made on Jacky Jasper but I'm sorry, I am not satisfied at all with the edits you did NOT make. They include the following: Paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 are completely unsourced. The 3rd paragraph makes the outrageous, uncited claim that Jasper won a Grammy Award, which is completely false according all the research I did including reviewing the complete lists of Grammy Award winners. (You can also Google the topic - Jacky Jasper Grammy - and you'll see all sites which say the Grammy claim is false and where he's been asked to prove it, which he's never done.) By not removing this, it sends the message that anyone can make the claim, with no proof, that they've won a Grammy (or Oscar, Emmy or Tony) and it will be allowed to stay in the article? The 3rd paragraph also has "RICK JAMES" in it (all caps). The 4th paragraph is completely promotional language about Jasper's blog, but you didn't touch it except for removing the URL to his blog. It says, "Instead of using this outlet to create only his own success he teamed up with industry leaders to bring much needed resources and information back to the street. Jacky serves up daily industry news, exclusive interviews, and reviews almost everything!" In the 5th paragraph, the first sentence details sexually explicit arrest charges of a living person that are based solely on a citation from a tabloid site? The 5th paragraph is also obviously very poorly written (grammar and puncutation). I feel the entire article warrants being removed. However, if that's not going to be done I am asking that you please at least make edits based on the above substantive ojections. The article is obviously written from a fan's perspective and is being used for promotional purposes. Thanks for your continued help on this. 76.189.101.150 (talk) 11:02, 18 June 2012 (UTC)
P.S. By the way, just so you know, I do appreciate the interest you took in making the edits you DID make. I know your intentions are to do the right thing. I should have mentioned this above. 76.189.101.150 (talk) 11:27, 18 June 2012 (UTC)
- Got your note. Thanks. Regarding Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Jacky_Jasper, I did some research and found information that says "Jacky Jasper" is not even the guy's real name; that it is actually the alter ego of a guy named Greg Comeau, who has/had several other aliases. Google it. You won't find any information on this guy from a "credible" source that will qualify him (Comeau or "Jacky Jasper") as being notable. Jasper completely fails the rules of notability. So based on that criteria alone, hopefully the article will be deleted. Then, the many other violations in the article itself won't matter any more. One other note, the music group the Jasper article says he was in, The Clayborne Family, doesn't appear to come close to passing the notability smell test either. Should that be put up for deletion, also? Thanks. 76.189.106.160 (talk) 15:06, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
Joseph O'Lawlor
Hello Mdann52, I was surprised that my article on General O'Lawlor was rejected for lack of sources when it had 13 of them. It did rely most heavily on the first one - does that need to be plainer? John — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jc33a (talk • contribs) 11:32, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

You'd responded to my request on how to add a photo to the page on me. I've added the photo, and the owner of the photo, Jose Villarrubia, has e-mailed his consent to permissions-en@wikimedia.org Hopefully, that's everything. Your reply to notability issue
Hi, I received your reply to User_talk:76.189.101.150#Notability_-_Help_Request. Thanks. What do you mean the other three (Alpern Tarlow, Snyder and Tarlow) already have AfD's on them? I looked at those three articles and there are no notices on any of those pages. I do, however, see the speedy deletion notice on Graff that you added.
I might start an account. I haven't decided.
By the way, how do I reply to you directly from my talk page (so I don't have to come to your talk page to do it)? It's strange writing for help on one page, then having to go to another page to reply.
Also, my internet provider changed my IP slightly yesterday (it always changes every few weeks or months), so now when I sign things on here, it has the new IP. It's confusing because they don't match. And all my discussions are on the old one (76.189.101.150).
I'm really curious to hear why those three articles you said have AfD's on them don't show that on their pages. I don't see any notices on any of them. Thanks again! 76.189.106.160 (talk) 16:40, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
- If you post directly to your talk page, I will be alerted through my watch list. About the AfD's, Look on the articles talk pages. Mdann52 (talk) 17:02, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the update. I see that both Graff and Snyder now have speedy deletion notices. And I went to Peter Tarlow's talk page and saw the (hostile) discussion from 2008 about whether to delete it. Wow. As far as Sara Alpern Tarlow, I still don't see anything regarding deletion on her talk page (Talk:Sara_Alpern). Can you give me the link to the page that shows it? If she passes the notability test, then the majority of associate professors in the U.S. probably do, also. I'm basing this solely on the article's content and (lack of) references to show notability. 76.189.106.160 (talk) 17:35, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
