Mangoe, thank you for reviewing 'Yin Mei Dance' for me. I have done as you suggested and (very lightly) reorganised it as 'Yin Mei'. I hope it'll prove acceptable. Many thanks again [[User:Chiswick Chap|Chiswick Chap]] ([[User talk:Chiswick Chap|talk]]) 13:48, 27 October 2011 (UTC) |

Before deleting revisions to an article it does help to actually view the materials you are deleting, I have done an extensive amount of research on this subject including an upcoming book. The older page you reverted back to has numerous inaccuracies not the least of which is being so badly written as to not even have the correct inventor on external links. I am also sending 4,000 pages of data to the u.s patten office along with old Cuecat and digital convergence corp records directly to the Wikipedia offices with a request for resolution and arbitration in this matter. I am a research expert on this topic and individual, and I am correcting the record due to the biased current postings regarding Cuecat and its development, patten and its history. UCMMA
If you know nothing about mixed martial arts then why are you interested in having a MMA related page deleted? I think you should keep opinion like this to yourself if you offer nothing to the conversation. Thank You — Preceding unsigned comment added by BigzMMA (talk • contribs) 12:21, 22 October 2011 (UTC)

Proposed Image Deletion
A deletion discussion has just been created at Category talk:Unclassified Chemical Structures, which may involve one or more orphaned chemical structures, that has you user name in the upload history. Please feel free to add your comments. Ronhjones (Talk) 22:58, 10 June 2011 (UTC)
Thank you twice
First, thank you for your recent deletion of the "Canon" section of the Hardy Boys article, which has been deleted previously at least once. I'd lately been having close to an edit war with an IP over whether the section used "weasel words," when in reality what it needed was the action you just took.
Second, I visited your user page, and thank you for introducing me to Wikipedia:FTN. I'm strictly on the fringe (sorry) of this little corner of WP, and someday when I have time (probably never) I'd like to visit the huge 27-drawer archive stuff. Long, long ago, I bought a book called "High Weirdness by Mail" (pre-Internet) and spent a lovely summer corresponding via P.O. Box with some of these adherents, New Agers, racists, etc. I still have some of it in a folder in the basement. Cheers! --Seduisant (talk) 23:26, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Ptrocksstation.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Ptrocksstation.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Magog the Ogre (talk) 06:24, 16 September 2011 (UTC)

Redirects for List of plants used in herbalism
Not sure about these - They're arguably misleading, and I'd rather have an article on plants that were used to create mainstream medicines as their target. Do realise I'd need to go in and disambiguate, though. 86.176.222.245 (talk) 20:19, 6 October 2011 (UTC)
sorry, don't like it
Regarding this edit: would you care to elaborate? Butwhatdoiknow (talk) 23:10, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
Thank you for the belated response. Why do you object to having a separate navbox section? Butwhatdoiknow (talk) 00:37, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
- Of course, to experienced editor such as yourself almost any change will seem unnecessary. But try to put yourself into the mindset of the casual user. As Wikipedia:Related_information/answers#Proposal_objections_and_response puts it: "The cost of an additional line in the table of contents must be considered against the the benefit of providing helpful information to readers. As to cost, readers familiar with Wikipedia can quickly scroll past the appendix listings in the table of contents – it matters not whether there are five rather than four headings to skip. So the cost seems small. As to benefit, as discussed above most users will benefit from a "heads up" in the table of contents that an article includes navigational aids. In addition, having a "Related information" heading helps separate the internal links in the navigation aids from the external links in the external links section. So the benefit relative to cost seems large." Butwhatdoiknow (talk) 02:19, 15 October 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Damien Spinelli and Maxie Jones
Hello Mangoe. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Damien Spinelli and Maxie Jones, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Article has been edited since it was tagged and is no longer a copyvio. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 05:41, 23 October 2011 (UTC)

Well you have created much more than 25. I see you are pointing your way to 50. I see your DYK's and note that they are bright in a couple of ways. You are guiding others on the way to travel. Keep up the regular signals. Thanks from me and the wiki. Victuallers (talk) 20:43, 24 October 2011 (UTC) |
Dear Mangoe:
Thank you for contacting me about my article "Derek James Mitchell". Since I am new at creating articles, please indulge my questions, if somewhat naive.
1. I do not see any changes in the article marked "latest revision". Should there not be highlighted areas where changes are made, or perhaps I haven't opened the latest revision? 2. Start-up articles require "reliable sources". I added two to my reference list: BBC News and Voice of America, in addition to the two I had previously. I hope that satisfies at least part of the requirement. 3. I am Derek Mitchell's father and obtained his resume from him for all of the information I included. He will send me an official photograph to put in the appropriate box (where I have put a placeholder) when he returns from Burma on his second visit to the country since his appointment. 4. I had a little trouble citing references, but I think I got it right this time. 5. Originally I sent the article from my User Page for review, which is perhaps where you saw it. I have now saved it in the main body of Wikipedia.
Thank you again for your help.
