WikiProject Albums
Hi, Tom Hull (critic) is probably the only article of a person listed in the albums project. Per the project page, "WikiProject Albums is an organization of Wikipedians dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of all kinds of audio recording albums." That is the scope of the project. Other projects may have broader scopes. Thank you. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 23:00, 16 June 2020 (UTC)

Collab suggestion – GA for Winwood's most successful solo album
I realized that there are a bunch of sources available out there which have not been used to expand the article Back in the High Life. Care to join me in making this article a GA? If so, I could focus on the background, production and recording info while you do marketing, reception and criticism. We'll need a legacy section. Binksternet (talk) 14:43, 9 July 2020 (UTC)
- I appreciate the offer, but I don't have a great deal of interest in the topic, nor the attention span for such a commitment right now. I'm sure you'll do a great job yourself though. isento (talk) 16:15, 9 July 2020 (UTC)

How's it going? There seems to be some confusion regarding how album certifications and album sales work with an editor on my talk page. Was hoping you could help clear some things up for them (I've tried explaining, but they still don't get it). --Blastmaster11 (talk) 16:51, 17 July 2020 (UTC)

DYK for Back in the High Life
On 7 August 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Back in the High Life, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that John "JR" Robinson (pictured) kicked off the Steve Winwood album Back in the High Life with a drum solo he played on his own drum kit at Unique Recording Studios in New York? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Back in the High Life. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Back in the High Life), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hi isneto! I noticed that a while ago you brought the Spin Alternative Record Guide to GA. Would you happen to own a copy of this? If so, would you be able to provide me the page number that Bowie's Diamond Dogs in on? Thanks! – zmbro (talk) 00:14, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
- Hey @Zmbro:. Brilliant job expanding the article so far. I don't own a copy. Google Books shows the page to be 4. But for future reference, if this information is otherwise unavailable, you can simply cite the chapter (ex. "David Bowie") in the citation for the book, in lieu of a page number. That has been acceptable in my experience. isento (talk) 03:12, 17 August 2020 (UTC)

Edit War (September)
I believe there's a dispute between us on the lead to the critical reception of Red, please assume good faith per WP:AFG; All my edits have been different revisions rater than reversions for a reason, to help progress the situation to a point where there isn't a dispute. With that said I want to deescalate this edit war and am going to revert the lead paragraph to the state it was in Red (as revised 16:33, 22 September 2020) and for us to reach consensus in the talk page if we want to proceed with our edits. But I want to check up with you beforehand to see if you're fine with this course of action, so let me know if you're good. Thank you CASalt (talk) 23:37, 28 September 2020 (UTC)
- No. There is no good reason for Metacritic's decade-end list to be mentioned in the opening paragraph to a section whose main subject is the reviews the album received. AnyDecentMusic's score can be noted. Decade-end lists are covered further down the section. isento (talk) 02:58, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
- Well, I'm not a regular Wikipedia editor like you so I don't see any reason to litigate this further. Though, since it seems like you've been monitoring this page for a while, it would be appreciated if you could maybe at some point expand the lead. Because right now it's just a once sentence reference to Metacritic and not really representative of the section like a lead should be IMO. And it looks weird, especially in contrast to the leads on most other albums wikipages, which are full paragraphs. Anyways, take care. CASalt (talk) 03:22, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
A Help
Hi, I would like to ask your help on this particular issue on Ariana Grande article. The article is so decorated with unnecessary fancruft and puffery, especially propagated by the user Mirrored7.
1. I removed the superfluous autograph image from the infobox and that user keeps adding it back. As we all know, Grande is prominently known for being a singer and an actress. However, that specific editor keeps adding the "songwriter" bit to the prose. I've reverted it thrice; and I don't wanna do it anymore. Yes, she writes some of her songs, and that is why "songwriter" is in the infobox, but further putting in the first line of the prose? That's misleading. She's not primarily known as a songwriter.
2. Just because I removed "songwriter" from the lead line and short description, Mirrored7 tracked my contributions and learned that I primarily edit on Taylor Swift articles, and has started to unnecessarily disruptive-edit the lead of the Taylor Swift article, over things that have already been discussed, resolved and settled with other users. This is petty fan war behavior.
Please look into this, as I believe you're experienced in dealing with such editors. Thank You. Regards. BawinV (talk) 12:02, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
